(TIMESKIP: 25 YEARS LATER) (POV: OSCAR)

It's been about 25 years since Shinnok was imprisoned. Quan Chi and his Revenants went into hiding. We spent 5 years hunting them down until we eventually & reluctantly gave up, but we didn't come up fruitless.

We gained some new allies. Two demons by the names of Ashrah & Sareena and the specter Scorpion. It happened right after me, Sonya, Johnny Cage & Jax enters the Netherrealm to find Quan Chi in the Netherrealm Castle.

We entered the Netherrealm's Castle to look for any signs or clues as to Quan Chi's whereabouts or hiding spots that we can use to find him.

We head deep into the Castle and found a strange room filled with failed lab experiments and a pool of dark liquids. "Nope. No evil sorcerers in here." Johnny Cage says. "Would you get serious." She says with slight amusement in her voice.

"By the Gods, are all sorcerers sick fucks?" I asked in disgust at the things inside of the tubes. "Don't know, but I sure hope we don't get anymore. Shang Tsung & Quan Chi are enough for us to handle." Jax says with equal disgust.

"Quan Chi needs to clean up his man cave." Johnny Cage says. "Sure as hell better than your movies." Jax says as me and Sonya laughs at this. "At least my movies has fans. Quan Chi ain't nothing but a lonely virgin with no friends." Johnny Cage says as we all laugh harder at that.

We regain our composure as we approached the pool. "What's this?" Johnny Cage questions as he bends down for a closer look. "I wouldn't do that." Sonya warns. "Yeah, it ain't one of those fancy movie star hot tubs." I add on.

"Come on, guys! Where's your sense of-" He starts saying as he reaches out to touch the pool. But once he did, the pool started glowing red and began swirling like a whirlpool. "-Adventure." He says, finishing his previous sentence.

The pool started rising with red energy as I got an uneasy feeling. Suddenly, the sound of a portal appearing caught my attention. "Guys! Company!" I yelled out as a familiar voice calls out. "You wish for adventure? You shall have it." Says the familiar voice of that rat bastard Quan Chi.

And he wasn't alone either. He brought along Scorpion & two demons. However, the demons look more feminine than the others we've fought before and they both have a mane of black hair, with the except of one having a streak of white in it.

"Fire!" Sonya and Jax orders as the soldiers opened fire on Quan Chi & the others. The sorcerer protected himself & his minions by conjuring a wall of green skulls. When the soldiers stopped firing, the wall disappears as Scorpion hurled a fire ball at them, engulfing them in flames.

"I have no need of your soldiers, but you four will serve me well. Once you all are dead." He says as he and his group charge at us, which we charge back.

Sonya took on Scorpion, Jax & Johnny Cage handle the demons and I took on Quan Chi. I blocked three of his punches as I counter with my own on both his midsection & face. I then drop kicked him in the chest, knocking back him onto the floor as I quickly recovered from my attack. "You're not so tough without Shinnok, are you?" I tauntingly ask.

"Don't think my strength comes from Lord Shinnok, human. I'm still a formidable opponent." Quan Chi says as I didn't believe it one bit. "Why don't you put your money where your money is?" I questioned with a smirk.

"As you wish, fool." Quan Chi says as he and I resume our battle. We traded blows and blocks with one another as we appear to be evenly matched. This battle went on for little while as Sonya, Jax & Johnny Cage defeats their opponents.

They rushed to my aid when Quan Chi & I back off from one another. "Glad you guys can join us." I said. "Now then, ready to surrender?" I questioned as Quan Chi laughs at this. "A delay, Mr Luonto. The inevitable still beckons." He says.

And before we know it, Johnny Cage got stabbed through the back by a dagger held in the hands of one of the female demons. "JOHNNY!" Sonyaexclaims in horror as she rushes to help Johnny, but got intercepted by Quan Chi.

Jax went to help Sonya while I went to help Johnny. He fell to the floor bleeding as something resembling Johnny Cage starts emerging from it. The demon was about to finish Johnny off when I blast her with a lightning bolt, sending her flying back towards a pillar and knocking her out.

Once the demon was taken care off, Jax & Sonya had taken out Quan Chi and joined me at Johnny's aid. "We'll get you out of here. You'll be fine." Sonya says while sounding like she's on the brink of tears. "Dunno...blood's...s'posed to be...on the inside..." He says through pain filled grunts.

The Johnny Revenant continues rising when Raiden appears. "Raiden! Thank gods you're here!" I exclaimed with happiness. "And not a minute later. I must reverse Quan Chi's spell." He says as he starts speaking in ancient tongue.

He then blast the Revenant with a lightning blast, halting its ascension and starting to make it go down. "It's working!" Sonya says with a happiness and hope in her voice. "Alright, Raiden! Keep it up!" Jax adds on with equal emotions.

"You cannot save him." Quan Chi says as he launched a green skull at Raiden. However, I intercepted the attack with a fireball of my own. "Jax! Sonya! Kick that son of a bitch's ass! I'll cover Johnny's & Raiden's!" I ordered.

"Roger that." Jax says as he & Sonya takes on Quan Chi. I tried to use my powers to heal Johnny's wound, but I haven't had time to train myself to use my powers for healing. Guess the teachings from my old world haven't yet faded away as I hoped.

But refocusing myself back on the present, I tried my damn best to heal Johnny, but it wasn't enough. I turned to see Sonya & Jax defeating Quan Chi. "That wasn't even close to what you deserve." I heard Sonya say.

"Sonya Blade! Jackson Briggs! The link with Quan Chi is not completely severed!" Raiden exclaims as Sonya & Jax smirks at this. "Not a problem." They said in unison as they approached Quan Chi.

They started beating him black and blue with punches & stomps to the head. Sonya then repositioned herself in between Quan Chi's legs and spread them out. "Oh shit." Jax says with a smile while Quan Chi has a face of horror on his. "No!" He exclaims.

Sonya wasn't having it as she stomped onto his dick, causing a crushing to be heard. Hot damn, there goes his ability to have kids.

But it was enough as Raiden forced the creature back into the pool. It caused a blast of energy that nearly took us all off our feet. But it also had a strange effect on Scorpion & the demons. When the energy wave made contact with them, Scorpion's eyes have turned into human looking eyes instead of their usual pure white eyes.

The biggest changes are the demons. When they got hit by the wave, their usual demon appearance started turning into a gray color as it fades away like dust in the wind. Soon, they look human females.

............And they're naked too. "Uh, Raiden? Help Johnny while I got the girls." I said with slight embarrassment in my voice as I stopped trying to heal Johnny and instead went to the girls.

I created several large leaves as I wrapped it around the girls to cover their naked bodies. Gotta say: these girls are quite pretty. But focusing my mind back on the mission, I returned to the group once the girls have been covered up as I see Raiden healing Johnny.

"Scorpion has been restored to the realm of the living while the women have regain their humanity. By coupling Quan Chi's dark magic with my own, I was able to restore them." Raiden explains as he finishes healing Johnny.

Once he was done, Sonya came to his aid. "Is he gonna make it?" She asked Raiden as Johnny regains his consciousness. "Haven't I told you? He's a god." He says with a smile as he gets up, with Sonya help. "You scared the shit outta us." Sonya says.

"And they said I couldn't do horror films." He says as we heard the sound of a portal appearing & disappearing. We turned to see Quan Chi has vanished. "Damnit! And we had him right where we want him!" I exclaimed in anger. "We gotta go after him." Johnny says as he tries to stand up, but Sonya stops him.

"We'll worry about him later." Sonya says as Jax nods in agreement. "Yeah, gotta you and the others back to Earthrealm. We'll regroup there and come up with a new plan." Jax says.

(Back to present time)

After Scorpion was revived, he retakes his original name: Hanzo Hasashi as he re-establish the Shirai Ryu. Now, he join us against all those who would threaten the Realms.

Ashrah & Sareena, the demons we've freed, have set out on different paths: Ashrah decided to go on a spiritual & religious cleansing, with Nightwolf accompanying her on this journey. Sareena, on the other hand, decides to stay with the newly reformed Lin Kuei.

Once Sub-Zero returned to the Lin Kuei, he learned from notes written by Sektor's Father on how to reverse the Cyberization. Old bastard probably wrote these notes so he could free himself from his own plan.

When he became Grandmaster, he took Frost in as his apprentice. She was scared at first, but Sub-Zero showed her that he wasn't Bi-Han. He treated her with compassion and respect, like how many men should treat women.

Outworld changed as well. That guy I saved from Shang Tsung's Flesh Pits is Ko'atal, a general of Shao Kahn, but got betrayed by him and kept alive for the Sorcerer's experiments. He decided to take Outworld's throne, since Sindel & Mileena don't want it.

Not gonna lie, I was concern if he'll become like Shao Kahn. But I was glad to be proven wrong since he holds no desire to conquer Realms.

Speaking of Realms, something extraordinary happened when Shao Kahn was defeated. Not only did Earthrealm & Outworld unmerged, but all of the other Realms did too, including Edenia. Their people was also restored too, though some still wish to remain in Outworld.

The remnants of Shao Kahn's armies have been scattered. Sheeva, Goro, Kintaro & the Shokans chose to leave for Edenia, due to Sheeva's ties with Sindel while the Tarkatans decided to join with Kotal Kahn, along with others warriors like Reptile & Ermac. As for the Centaurs? I have no idea what became of them.

Me and my group went to Outworld a few times to help with them rebuilding after both Shao Kahn's death & the unmerging of the Realms. It took many years, but we managed to rebuild it to stable levels.

Kabal & Stryker decided to leave the police force to join the Special Forces. Kira also decided to join them as a way to redeem herself for her past actions while in the Black Dragon.

As for me and my group? We've been doing pretty good for ourselves. I've turned 44, Toga's 42, Dabi's scars have been healing nicely while reading the age of 49, Lady Nagant is 63, Stain's 56, Nana's around 56 and my little Eri just reached 31 yesterday.

I grew a handsome looking beard & mustache while my hair grew out to reach my shoulders. My armor became much more streamline while my swords have increased in both length and sharpness. The biggest change that came to me are my eyes. I use to have normal blue human eyes, but after much time has passed, they've turned into a green colored eye that resembles either a cat's or a viper's.

Toga's hair now goes passed her shoulders and have ditched the buns for pig tails. She also ditched the school girl's outfit for a light weight armored assassin like look with several vials and bags of blood attached to her stomach area, arms, waist, thighs & legs.

Dabi's burns have been healed greatly, thanks to both the Jinsei & Raiden's healing powers. Now he only has first degree burns all over his body. He ditched the trench coat for for a leather sleeveless jacket & dark grey military pants and boots. He also same leather pads & bracers. His pale skin has also darkened a bit through the course of these years. His hair has become a bit longer and bushier while its starting to have white showing that appears to be in a flame like design. Same designs can be found on his pads, bracers, the ends of his pants & the back of his jacket. Shao Kahn's hammer, which he took ownership of, has changed too: the old design is gone and is replaced by a volcanic hammer looking appearance.

Stain, Nana & Lady Nagant started showing signs of age via wrinkles and greying hair, but they still maintain their fighting skills. Stain's outfit now resembles more like a samurai/ronin attire. Lady Nagant adopted a more military inspired attire & Nana decided to go with a street brawling monk like design.

Eri grew into a beautiful young woman with flowing, wavy like hair while her horn grew to be around a foot long. Her attire's coloration is white, black & dark pink colors. When off duty, she lets her hair loose & when she is on duty, she ties it up into a man bun kinda hair style. Her outfit consists of a long sleeve shirt, a military vest, shoulder pads, elbow pads, arm bracers, fingerless gloves, a combat skirt, short shorts undearneath said skirt, knee pads and combat boots. She also wears a headband that wraps around her head and her horn. The headband also has a fake horn Eri uses to help control & channel her Quirk. Her pads have a spike that resembles her horns. She wields a Dadao weapon she calls 'Payback' & a Machine Gun/Rocket Launcher hybrid weapon.

Eri's siblings have also gone through a change too. Since they're born from me, they were 19 as well, so they're now 44 too. But the biggest change started somewhere around 5 years ago. You see, they started changing and altering, becoming a mixture of their previous lives and the bodies I gave them so long ago. I consult Kronika & Cetrion about this and they told me this is part of a metamorphosis that's linked to emotional ties to their own world & the only way to complete it is for them to return to their old worlds and finish any sort of business they had. I was hesitant at first, but I agreed to it since it's better for them to face the past they long left behind.

Speaking of Eri, she joined a team alongside some other kids. Cassie Cage, daughter of Johnny Cage & Sonya Blade, Jacqui Briggs, daughter of Jax, Kung Jin, nephew of Kung Lao & Takeda Takahashi, son of Kenshi & student of Hanzo Hasashi.

She joined the Special Forces when she was about 18 years old, earning her a bit of seniority in the group. Eri wanted to join the team so she could give them some of her experience & knowledge, acting as some sort of a teacher/mentor to them.

I cannot express my pride in her enough to justify it, so I'll simply say I'm proud of her. But I worry if she's comparing herself to me, believing she can't amount to my legacy.

But I know she'll surpass me one day, because she is my Daughter. We Luontos are known to make our names legendary.

(Here's Chapter 15 done. I know I kinda messed up with Sonya's chapter, but it was necessary for the chapter. In the next chapter, we'll go to Kotal Kahn and see how he's doing.)
