(SCENE: UA HIGH SCHOOL) (POV: IZUKU)

Not just a day after Oscar left and Aizawa got us a new student to replace him. Ojiro Mashirao, his Quirk grants his a tail. I was hoping it was something good to replace Oscar, but it wasn't.

He quickly became another one of those blind haters that would spat on Oscar's name at any given opportunity. Not to mentioned he joined that ridiculous Baku-Squad cult, a blind follower to Bakugo's words.

I know I call him Kaachan, but that name died many years ago and can't never be brought back. It made me sad to admit it, but it's the unfortunate truth & I need to learn to accept it.

Speaking of Bakugo, he and the rest of the class act all happy, but whenever Oscar is mentioned, they become so mad and angry that they would fly into a blind rage. Aizawa doesn't even do anything about because he says it's not his problem and he'll deal with it once Principal Nezu gives him a raise.

Starting to see why Oscar secretly dislikes & doesn't respect him. He's so lazy. Actually looking back on it, Aizawa seems to Quirkist because his exam is based entirely around people with powerful Quirks. He also favors people with stronger Quirks because he threatened me with expulsion while he does nothing with Bakugo attacks me but give him a warning.

Aizawa also brought in his apprentice; Hitoshi Shinso. His Quirk enables him to take control of people when they speak to him. I remember fighting him at the Sports Festival & he seemed like a nice guy. But he turned into an arrogant jerk like Bakugo.

As for me? I'm starting to train with Class 1B & Vlad King, with Nezu's permission. Honestly, I should've been in that class instead of 1A. Sure Monoma's a bit arrogant, but I don't find it that annoying as Bakugo's or Shinso's ego. Vlad King's also a better teacher then both Aizawa & All Might combined.

He actually focuses on both Quirks & physical abilities, instead of just focusing on Quirks like Aizawa & All Might does.

(SCENE CHANGE: LUNCH ROOM)

Oscar's situation is still a sensitive subject for us. "Well, he should be fine. After all, it's only been a day after he left." I said as the rest of them got a little bit sad.

Our conversation got interrupted when Iida & Ochaco approached us. "Deku-kun!!! Us and the rest of 1A are heading to an arcade! Come on! Join us!" Ochaco excitedly exclaims as I shook my head at this. "No thank you, I'm good. You all have fun without me. And I'll be changing my hero name shortly, never did like that stupid name Deku anyways." I explained, shocking Ochaco & Iida at this.

"Izuku!!! It's not heroic behavior to change your hero name!!!!!" He shouts out while doing his weird and stupid hand chops. "Yeah! Besides, Deku is such a cute name." Ochaco says as I got extremely angry at this.

I used OFA at 50% and smashed the table, shocking everyone present. "GO OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!!! AND DON'T YOU DARE TALK TO ME ANYMORE!!!!!!" I screamed in anger. Ochaco started crying as she ran out of the room while Iida chased after her.

I realized what I did as I calmed myself. I turned to the others with a shame filled expression on my face. "Sorry you guys had to see that. The name has some bad history to me, but I chose to reinstall it because she thought it means something else. But now, I now realized she likes it because it sounded cute." I explained as I take a deep breath in and exhale out. "I'll be at Hound Dog's room." I said as I make my way to Hound Dog's room.

(SCENE CHANGE: HOUND DOG'S ROOM)

I arrived at Hound Dog's room to see him doing paperwork. "Izuku Midoriya, I heard of what happened at the Cafeteria. I'm certain you have a good explanation as to why you destroyed a table." Hound Dog says as I nod my head in confirmation.

"I do." I said as I start explaining my back story to him. From me being diagnosed as Quirkless to what happened in the Cafeteria, I even told him about AFO. Though All Might told me to not tell anyone about it, I decided that he shouldn't ban me from telling it to people I trust about it.

Once I was done talking, Hound Dog appears to be holding back his anger as he breathes in & out. "Izuku Midoriya, I understand why you hate that name, why you distance yourself from your class & teacher and why you want to change your Hero name. Me and Nezu will pretend this was due to aggravation by 1A & ask Cementos to repair the table. But you'll need to ask Nezu if you can change your hero name." Hound Dog says.

"Of course. And thank you." I said as I leave the room and make my way towards Nezu's office.

(SCENE CHANGE: HALLWAY)

As I walking down the hallway towards Nezu's office, I got stopped by Aizawa & All Might. "Young Midoriya! We heard you used your Quirk to destroy a table in the Cafeteria after your friends tried to talk with you!" All Might exclaims loudly with disappointment in his voice.

"And I didn't authorize you to change your Hero name. I think 1B's a bad influence on you." Aizawa tiredly and nonchalantly says as he takes a sip from his coffee. "Exactly! So, as your sensei, I'm ordering you to avoid all contact with 1B & that Mei girl! You are also required to apologize to Young Ochaco & Young Tenya!" All Might orders.

I shook my head at this. "No. What I do in my life is my choice & mine alone. And 1B & Mei aren't bad influences, you all are." I said with a glare that pierced through their very souls. I then pushed pass them and continue towards Nezu's office.

But then, All Might grabbed me roughly by my shoulder. "Guess choosing a useless Quirkless brat to be my successor. But I'll correct that right now." He says as he plucks a pick of my hair and eats it. But instead of it being transferred back to him, I could still it inside of me. Guess OFA doesn't want to leave me.

All Might let's go of me as he and Aizawa walks away. I simply ignored them as I was about to continue towards Nezu's office when I hear a familiar voice. "And to think I respected & trusted them." Says the voice as I turned around to see Nezu approaching me.

"Guess Oscar was right about them not being trustworthy was true." I said as Nezu nods in agreement. "The young man always was a good judge of character." Nezu says as I nod in agreement. "So, you know why I was heading to your office?" I asked.

"Either about the table you broke or about changing your Hero name & possibly your outfit?" Nezu guessed with a smirk on his face. "Was planning on changing my Hero name, but a outfit change sounds just as good. And I know just the outfit to change into." I said as Nezu chuckles at this. "I'm sure he would want you to wear it." Nezu says as I smiled at this.

"Sure hope he's doing okay. Who knows what he's dealing with in that strange world of theirs." I said as Nezu sighs at this. "We sure can hope. But we know Quirkless people are survivors, they can handle all kinds of threats." Nezu says as I smiled at this.

"Well then, shall we start your rebirth, Phoenix?" Nezu asks with a slight smirk on his face as I chuckle at that. Phoenix is the nickname Oscar gave me a little while ago because he believes I am a Phoenix. He wasn't wrong though, I did rise from my ashes to something great. "Of course." I said as he and I head towards his office.

(SCENE CHANGE: CLASS 1A DORM) (POV CHANGE: 3RD PERSON)

Meanwhile, in Class 1A's Dorm, the girls were busy trying to calm a still crying Ochaco. "WWWWAAAAHHHHH!!!!! DEKU HATES ME!!!!!!! WWWWAAAAHHHHH!!!!!" She bawls as she cries into a pillow.

"There, there, he doesn't hate you." Momo says in a motherly like tone. "Yeah, those 1B weaklings & that insane Mei are a bad influence on him." Jiro says with an angry expression on her face. "Don't worry, Ochaco, we'll show Deku we're better then that loser class & inventor. *Kero*" Tsuyu says.

"But first, we need to punish Deku for how he treated Ochaco & Iida. I have the perfect plan. But we need everyone in 1A here." Mina says as she calls everyone in.

Once everybody's in, Mina starts explaining her plan. "Alright everyone, as you all might've known: Deku made Ochaco cry because of him being influenced by Class 1B & Mei Hatsume. I have a plan to make Deku apologize & to make sure he never comes into contact with that loser class & inventor ever again." Mina explains as everyone listened closely.

"First, we'll make it look like they did something really bad & record it. Once that's accomplished, we set the tape inside of Deku's room. Of course, we can't let his treatment of Ochaco & Iida go unpunished, so once he sees the tape and asks for our forgiveness, we'll actually like he doesn't existence and ignore him till he apologizes to Ochaco & Iida." Mina explains the plan as everyone shouted in agreement.

'Perfect! Now that I got rid of that useless Quirkless bastard, the shitty nerd is next! Man! These idiots are the perfect lapdogs! Blindly rushing in without thinking & believing everything they hear!' Bakugo says in his mind with pure arrogant in his tone.

"How long will this go?" Hagakure asks. "As long as it takes until Deku apologizes to Ochaco & Iida and he swears to never talk with Class 1B and Mei ever again." Mina says as All Might & Aizawa enter the room.

"We're in." Aizawa says bluntly as All Might nods in agreement. "Yes! Young Midoriya has gone out of line and needs to be punished for his actions!" All Might exclaims as the students of 1A cheers in agreement.

'This is even better!!! That sleep deprived asshole & the nerd's dumbass excuse of a hero made it so Deku can be knocked back down to what he's suppose to be: a useless punching bag for us to use, just like all of the Quirkless population!' Bakugo arrogantly exclaims in his mind as he decides to fuel the fire even more.

"I think I know why Deku's acting this why: it's because of that worthless Quirkless Oscar!" He exclaims, causing 1A, Aizawa & All Might to start ranting about Oscar.

'He's right! That Quirkless brat is like a plague!'
'He should die, like the rat he is!'
'He deserves the torture of a thousand hells!'

'Man, manipulating people like this is so easy, I almost feel bad. But who cares about feeling bad when you can have everything you want.' He says in his mind with an arrogant tone as he speaks again. "Since Deku's so fond of that Quirkless bastard, he'll most likely take on his name & costume." Bakugo says as the Class & Aizawa got even more angry at this.

"Here's what we should do: we do Raccoon Eyes plan, but we be a lot meaner about it. Insult him, degrade him, anything to make him feel bad. Once his body and spirit has been broken enough, we'll throw him a big party and say it was a prank. He'll be so happy that he'll follow us around like a puppy dog. Believe me, I know, he's been friends with me for years now & I know how he'll react." Bakugo explains with false concern for Izuku as everyone went along with it without any second thoughts.

'This is why I like Quirked People. They're strong, yet dumb. Say just the right words & they'll anything. Of course, Quirkless People are weak & useless, but they can be smart too. If that damn nerd & pathetic Oscar proves anything, they'll overthrow us one day and make us their slaves. I won't give up my rights as a superior human being to be some Quirkless person's bitch!' He insanely says in his mind.

(SCENE CHANGE: NEZU'S OFFICE) (POV CHANGE: IZUKU)

"And there we go. Your Hero name change is now official. Gone with Deku & in with Magnus Prime. Oscar would happy you took the name, since I doubt he would want to be a Hero again, due to our mostly stupid students & teachers." Nezu says as I nod in agreement.

"Yes. Though I need to make a few changes to the suit. Oscar still had lots of ideas for it so he could make up for his Quirklessness." I said as Nezu nods in agreement. "Excellent, adaptability separates the weak links from the survivors." Nezu says as I nod in agreement.

Oscar did say that adaptability & mental/psychological/emotional training will always triumph over brute strength & Quirks.

"I'll tell Powerloader & Mei about your new arrangements. You should head back to your dorm & gather your required items. Don't worry about the suit, Powerloader & Mei kept it safe from people who would damage it." Nezu says as I nod my head at this and leave Nezu's office.

(SCENE CHANGE: 1A DORMS) (POV CHANGE: 3RD PERSON)

As Izuku reach the dorms, he enters to see everyone having fun. Deciding not to ruin the fun, he walks pass them and heads into his dorm. "Okay, need to grab my notes on everyone's Quirks. Thankfully, I still got the blueprints & schematics for Oscar's suit since he's the only one in 1A he trusts with his treasured belongings." He says as he shivers a bit.

"Man, he was angry for a few days after they ruined his magazines. Thank goodness I decided not to get in his way, unlike how the class tries to calm him down. Some of them did not turn out well after those sparring matches." He says with slight cringe in his tone.

He quickly shakes his cringe offf as he approaches a lost piece of floorboard in his dorm and removes it, revealing a hidden compartment underneath it, filled with journals that has a thunder cloud with a lightning bolt and the initials 'OS/MP' on it.

Izuku pulls out the journals from his hidden cubby space as he looks at them in deep thought. 'Oscar, where ever you are, know I'll make you proud.' He says in his mind.

(SCENE CHANGE: PRIVATE ROOM) (POV CHANGE: OSCAR)

I arrived at Class C's room as I knocked on the door. "Hello, it's me: Izuku Midoriya & I'm here for a new suit." I said aloud as the door opens up. I enter the room as Powerloader and Mei approaches me. "Ah Izuku, we've been expecting you. Got the journals?" Powerloader asks.

"Yes. Though something weird happened. My Class, Aizawa Sensei & All Might Sensei were giving me dirty looks. I even heard someone whisper 'useless nobody' under their breath. It sounded like it was Mina." I explained as they look concerned at this.

"Maybe your ears are playing tricks on you. But I suggest you be on your guard. Something's amiss with UA ever since Oscar's life went to ruin. Could be looking too much into it, but better to be careful than to be caught with your pants down." Powerloader explains as he, Mei & I leave for the lab.

He could be onto something, but can't anything without 100% certainty and evidence on hand.

(Here's chapter 13 done. Sorry if it feels weird and out of place, but it has been awhile since I wrote an original chapter, I might be losing my touch, so hope I'm wrong. Anyways, next chapter will be a war zone with a few surprises and twists.)
