They Ask You Out

A/N: On a few of them you ask them out, but I didn't want to have that long of a title.

Jace:
You always loved sitting on the Institute roof. It was a little trouble to get on it, but once you were up there you could be up there for hours. It was your favorite place to think.

So, now here you were. Sitting on the roof. The sun was starting to set. The colors were positively beautiful. You sighed happily.

A whistle sounded behind you. "No wonder you always disappear up here," a voice said. "If I knew there were views like this I would've followed you a long time ago."

You laughed as Jace sat next to you. "It was quite peaceful until you came along," you teased.

"Please," he scoffed. "Everything's better with me. Especially rooftop sunsets."

"Especially? Do you have a list of the things that you make the best?"

"Oh god no. That list would never end."

You hit him lightly laughing. When you looked at him he was staring at you.

"You okay?" you asked.

He shook his head smiling. "I just think you're amazing."

You blushed. "Thanks," you said feeling your heart bang in your chest.

"Go on a date with me, (Y/N)," he said.

"Really?" You asked almost out of breath.

"Yes," he said.

"Of course, Jace," you finally said.

He grinned. "Well, come on," he said standing up and extending his hand down to you. "You can't stay out here all night long."

You smirked and took his hand. "I consider that a challenge."

He rolled his eyes and the two of you got back inside the Institute.

Simon:
To be honest, you suspected Simon like you as much as you liked him. But you could also tell that if he did there was no way he'd ask you out. You decided you'd have to ask him.

This was the fifth one of their concerts you'd been to. You and Simon had been talking before and after each time, as well as on the phone. You'd gotten a friend of yours to come the past few times, but this time you were alone.

Lethal Soufflé had just finished their set, and Simon was heading over to you.

"Good show," you said smiling.

"Thanks!" he said.

The both of you sat at a table. It was the perfect opportunity to ask him to go out with you.You felt nervous. This was the first time you'd ever asked someone out, and you liked Simon quite a bit. You sighed, just do it, (Y/N).

"Simon?"

"Yeah?" he looked at you.

"Well," you bit your lip. "Simon I really like you. I think you're funny, and you play the bass like nobody's business. You wanna get coffee sometime?"

He looked surprised, and he nodded. "Yeah of course, I'd love to!"

You grinned. "It's a date."

Maia:
Maia had invited you to the Hunter's Moon, a Downworlder bar, to hang out. You walked in. Maia was sitting at a table towards the back. When she saw you she grinned and waved you over. You joined her.

"It's great to see you again, (Y/N)," Maia said brushing a bit of her dark hair from her face.

"It's great to see you to Maia," you smiled.

You two are and chatted. Once you finished your meal you still stayed in the restaurant just to talk.

Then it happened. Maia slipped her hand in yours. Your heart skipped a beat. You tried to hide how flustered this made you, but it didn't work. Maia mistook your expression and began to pull away.

"I'm sorry, I just-" she began.

"No it's okay!" You said. You caught her hand and smiled.

Maia smiled back. "Will you, er, go on a date with me?" She asked. "Like officially?"

You beamed. "Maia, I'd love to."

Isabelle:
The reason you needed to meet with Maryse in the first place was due to a peculiar demon. You had spotted it only a month or so ago. When you saw it you started after it, but couldn't catch it. You went back to the Institute to hunt for it. You'd never seen a demon like that one, but despite your search in every book you could find you found nothing about this demon. However, the Clave only a few days ago told you a similar demon was spotted in New York. So, here you were trying to figure out what this was with the assistance of Maryse.

Maryse thought the best way to find out about the demon was to do stake outs. She would send you and someone else out every night to look for it. First it was you and Jace, but he said you were annoying and you thought he was an arrogant bastard. Then she sent Alec with you, but that was just weird. He didn't say anything and it was just too awkward to do again. So, it ended up being you and Isabelle for the rest of the time. This would be fine... If you didn't have a huge crush on her. You worked together well and it was fun spending time with her, but you were terrified of letting it slip that you liked her.

You'd been in New York for a few weeks now and Isabelle was your best friend here. You two spent so much time together it was insane that you didn't want to rip each other's heads off. One night you and Izzy were patrolling for the demon.

You'd told Izzy she could sleep while you took watch. You were attentive, but soon you found yourself lost in the stars. It was a beautiful night.  A jingle bell like laugh sounded from behind you. You turned. Izzy stood there smirking with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Is this why we haven't seen this demon yet?" she accused playfully. "Because instead of looking you star gaze?"

"In my defense," you said. "They're very pretty stars."

Isabelle rolled her eyes and you grinned. You sank into silence. You returned to staring at the stars. When you looked back at Izzy she was staring at you with a flustered look at her face.

"Everything alright?" you asked.

Izzy sighed. "You frustrate me, (Y/N). I... I don't know what to do around you."

"Uh... I'm sorry?" you weren't sure how to respond. You were silent once again.

"Would you go out with me?" Isabelle asked suddenly.

You looked at her in shock. "Seriously?"

"No... Yes... Never mind. I shouldn't have asked," she began to ramble.

"Isabelle!" You exclaimed getting her attention. "You have no idea, how much I would love to go out with you."

"Really?" Her eyebrows shot up.

You nodded and she smiled. You're heart was beating out of your chest. You didn't think you'd ever been happier.

Jordan:
Despite how idiotic you thought you were being, you could not stop thinking about what Jordan had said. Anytime, anything... You needed to take your mind off it, and you knew the perfect way.

You trained your butt off. Working as hard as you possibly could. It worked. You engrossed yourself in training and completely forgot about Jordan. That was until you took a break for lunch.

You took a giant swig of water, and wiped your brow. You started walking. You had a pizza in the communal fridge and you were beyond starving. You watched others finishing up their training as you walked, and then smacked right into someone.

"Sorry!" you exclaimed. The guy who you ran into scowled.

"Watch where you're going," he growled shoving you.

You fell landing on the ground as he walked away. You rubbed the back of your head.

"(Y/N)! Are you okay?!" It was Jordan. He ran to help you up.

"I'm fine," you assured him.

He glared in the direction of the guy who had shoved you. You could tell he was mad. He couldn't fight the other guy. If he did they might be punished. You needed to do something.

"Jordan, will you come to lunch with me?" You blurted out.

He turned to you looking surprised. Then he smiled. "I'd love that."

Then, the two of you headed inside.

Sebastian:
You were sitting on the edge of "your" bed. Sebastian had given you a room a couple days after you arrived. It was surprisingly nice. The bed was comfortable, with beautiful black and red covers. He'd provided you with quite nice clothes, and as much as you didn't want to admit it you were comfortable.

You brushed your hair from your face staring absentmindedly at the wall. You here the door open, but it's closed before you can even look. Sebastian leans against with a bored look on his face.

"Hello," you say stiffly, wondering why he's here.

He met your eyes and smirked, "Hello (Y/N). How are you?"

"Why?" you asked.

"What do you mean?" Sebastian cocked an eyebrow.

"Why do you care how I am?" You asked.

"Because," he said. "If you're going to stay here you might as well be comfortable."

Your stomach churned. Sebastian made you anxious for all the wrong reasons. "I'm much better than I would've thought," you said honestly.

"I suppose that's good," he mused. "Aren't you tired of being cooped up in this room?"

"What are you implying Sebastian?" you asked.

"Tonight I want to show you something. Eat with me, then I'll take you somewhere," he said grinning.

You raise an eyebrow. Your heart raced in your chest. "Alright, Sebastian," you were surprised by the steadiness in your voice, "I accept."

He smirked. "I'll see you tonight,
(Y/N)."

With that he turned and left. When the door closed you exhaled realizing you'd been holding your breath. You flopped on your bed your heart racing as fast as it'd been in your life.

Raphael:
You were in too deep. You knew you were head over heels for Raphael, but he never seemed to bat an eye when he saw you. It was torture. You hated it.

You decided that you needed to do something. You had to at least do something. You needed to at least tell him how you felt. Even if it meant being torn apart when you were turned down.

You needed an opportunity when no one else was around. It was one thing to embarrass yourself in front of Raphael it was another entirely to embarrass yourself in front of the entire clan.

As the sun came up outside vampires began to disappear from the old hotel lobby. You hoped to catch Raphael when everyone had gone asleep.

You saw him heading out. It was now or never. You moved towards him. He was one of the last leaving.

"Raphael!" You called. He stopped turning to you. "I... I need to talk to you about something."

He raised an eyebrow, but stayed behind with you. You were alone.

"What do you need (Y/N)?" Raphael asked.

You closed your eyes. It would be easier if you couldn't see his face. "Raphael, I find you fascinating, and I enjoy you're company. I felt as though I had to tell you. That's all. Thank you for listening."

You turned to go when he caught your wrist. You looked at him.

"(Y/N), you fascinate me as well. I'd like to get to know you better." he said.

Then, Raphael sat down in a chair and gestured for you to sit in a chair across from him. You smiled feeling your heart swell, and you sat down.

Camille:
Camille had asked you to meet her at the place you had already placed the protection spells on. You found it a little odd. Why couldn't she just give you the address of the new place she wanted you to do the spells on. You thought it better not to question her. She had her reasons.

You knocked on the door. Camille opened it. She leaned against the frame of the door. She wore a dark red spaghetti strap dress that went just below her knees. Her blonde hair spilled over her shoulders like a waterfall. She took your breath away. Your cheeks flushed as you realized you'd been staring.

She smirked. "Come in, (Y/N)"

She turned and walked away. You  quickly dashed in.

"Um... So... Where are we going?" you asked trying not to stare too long.

"Hm?" she brushed her hair from her eyes.

"The other place... That you wanted me to do the spells on?" you were utterly confused.

She laughed. "Oh! I don't have any other places. I lied."

"What?" you gaped. "Why?"

She sighed sitting down on a small couch. "You interest me, (Y/N). I want to get to know you. It seemed like business was the only way to lure you here."

"I interest you?"

"Do I have to spell it out?" she said exasperated. "I like you, which is a rarity in itself, so please stay awhile. Get to know me."

You grinned. "Like a date?"

Camille chuckled softly. "I suppose so."

With that, you went and sat beside her.
