How You Meet:
You met at a party, of course. You were a big party person, and when you had the opportunity to go to one of Magnus Bane's infamous parties you jumped to it eagerly.

You dressed for dancing. You were excited. You arrived, got a few drinks in you, and hit the dance floor.

Put modestly, you were rocking it. Boasting a little, you were the best dancer there. People were awed by you. Vampirism did help. It allowed you to make fast sudden movements that were extremely difficult for others.

You probably could've danced all night, but you stepped to the side to catch your breath, and grab a drink. You were digging this party. Magnus Bane really knew how to throw one.

You brushed your hair from your face when you noticed someone coming towards you. You turned to the figure to see it was none other than Magnus Bane himself. You tilted your head curiously as he approached you.

"(Y/N) (Y/L/N)," he said with a knowing smirk.

"Magnus Bane," you responded smirking right back.

"I have to say you're putting most of my guests to shame," he says nodding to where you'd been dancing.

You laughed. "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't proud of that."

Magnus grinned. "Well you're quite a good dancer on you're own, but how do you fare with a partner?"

You raised an eyebrow slightly surprised. "Why don't you find out?" You said boldly, offering your hand.

Magnus laughed and took it. Then the two of you headed to dance.

You Realize You Like Them:
The two of you were dancing, and it was perfection. You had danced with partners before, but it had never been like this. You two moved as if you could read each others minds. Each move from one person was matched with an equally excellent move from the other.

You had danced with other partners before, but nothing has ever been this perfect. Your mind swirled with emotion as you danced. People watched in awe and wonder. Everything felt so right.

It was over too fast. Your feet seemed to stop without your command. Your time was up. The dance was over. You and Magnus stepped to the side.

"That was extremely fun," Magnus said grinning.

You smiled. "It was. You're quite the dancer yourself Magnus Bane."

He winked. "I wouldn't have you thinking otherwise."

You laughed, and right then you did something you knew you'd probably end up regretting. You fell for Magnus Bane. You fell for a heartbreaker. And honestly, you knew you wouldn't mind getting your heartbroken if he was the one to break it.

A/N: I'm SOOOOO sorry it's been so long. I'd like to blame it on being busy, but it's actually because I'm lazy. Fortunately, I have a five day weekend. So I'll buckle down and get stuff done.
