First Kiss
A/N: I don't know if any of you have seen the first episode of Freeform's Shadowhunters, but I have and I hated it with a firey passion mortals cannot feel. Your thoughts?!
Jace:
Over the past couple weeks that you and Jace had been together the roof had kind of become "your spot".
The two of you would disappear up there for hours. Sometimes you'd be gone for so long Alec would have to come a drag the pair of you back inside.
Tonight you were sitting on the roof gazing at the stars. Jace had his arms wrapped around you, and you two sat in content silence.
Jace put his face in your neck pulling you a bit closer. You felt overwhelming adoration for him, and you smiled.
"Jace," You turned your neck to face him.
"Yeah, (Y/N)?" He looked up at you.
You pressed your lips against his kissing him. He didn't miss a beat (a typical Jace thing). He kissed you back right away. Simple kissing graduated to something a little more heated until the sound of a whistle caused the two of you to break apart.
Isabelle had found her way on the roof without detection. She smirked eyeing you too with smugness. "I've been wondering how you two could spend hours at a time up here, but now it doesn't seem so crazy."
Jace scoffed scowling at the interruption. You laughed.
"Thanks Izzy," you said sarcastically.
She winked. "My pleasure."
Simon:
You and Simon were walking home from yet another band performance. You'd told him you'd be fine walking alone, but he insisted you couldn't walk alone at night.
So here you were. Walking down an empty street towards your home. You felt undeniably happy. You were pretty positive you loved this boy, and you thought he felt the same.
"I really like you, Simon," you said voicing your thoughts.
He smirked. "I really like you too,
(Y/N)."
The two of you reached your house. You hovered anxiously by the porch as you said goodbye.
Then Simon leaned forward and kissed you. The kiss was awkward and clumsy. Both of you were acting like it was your first kiss ever. Maybe, it was because you liked each other so much, but whatever the reason the kiss left you with a bright blush.
The two of you parted even more awkwardly, but despite the oddness of it you had to admit you'd enjoyed yourself.
Maia:
You and Maia spent a lot of time at your place. To be honest, it was because neither of you wanted to do anything. The best date was just sitting wrapped in each others arms eating junk food, and binge watching movies and TV shows.
It was on one of these wonderful nights that your first kiss occurred. Your marathon of the night was Marvel. You'd been working on the Avengers. Tonight was all the Thor movies.
You were a third into Thor: The Dark World. Maia as sprawled on the couch her head in your lap. Popcorn littered the floor, and you slowly felt your thoughts drifting away from the movie.
You'd been fingering with Maia's braids for the last few hours, and your gaze flitted to her face. Her eyes were locked intently on the screen, clearly engrossed in the movie.
At that moment you appreciated how positively beautiful Maia was. Everything about her. Her skin, her hair, her eyes.
"Maia," you whispered. "Look at me."
She made an incoherent noise and gestured to the television screen. You sighed in annoyance and paused the movie.
She looked up. "Hm?"
You kissed her. Maia's soft perfect lips kissed you back. You made a soft noise of pleasure. You break apart.
She laughed. "That was worth interrupting the movie."
I grin pressing play. "It better've been."
Isabelle:
You were nervous beyond belief. You'd been in New York almost a month and you hadn't so much as spotted the mysterious demon. They would send you home if you didn't find something soon... You didn't want to go. Away from the Lightwoods, away from Izzy...
These stressful thoughts were the reason you were sitting on the floor of Isabelle's room venting your mass hysteria to your girlfriend as she played with your hair.
"Iz, what if we don't see the demon again? What if it was a mistake? What if that was just any old demon, and it was all for nothing? I don't want to go home. What if I never see you again?" You continued to ramble on about all the possible situations.
Isabelle opened her mouth, but she couldn't get a word edgewise with you like this. She made an exasperated sound, but you continued to ignore her. She pursed her lips. Then she got an idea. She leaned over and kissed you. In mid-sentence you stopped. Your brain didn't have time to catch up before she pulled away.
She smirked smugly, "(Y/N) (Y/L/N), listen to me. No matter what happens I'm not letting you out of my life, and that's definite."
You smiled with a bit of embarrassment. "Thanks Izzy."
She fake bowed, and you felt yourself relax. She was right. If anyone could control this situation it was you.
Jordan:
You and Jordan had become a 'thing'. You didn't know if you'd call this dating per say, but whatever it was you were happy.
You'd finished up today's training, and you were heading to where you and Jordan had been meeting lately. You rounded a corner, and saw Jordan.... Along with another Praetor.
A girl was standing next to Jordan. He looked slightly bored, but you could see from the look in her eyes she was interested in him.
A little fire lit inside you. You were tired, and hungry, and all you wanted was to be with Jordan. You had no patience for this shit. You walked over to them.
"(Y/N)!" The relief was evident in Jordan's voice.
You put your hand on the side of his face and kissed him. The kiss started just being spiteful, but then he started to kiss you back. The kiss turned soft and passionate.
The girl cleared her throat, "Uh... I guess I'll see you later Jordan."
It wasn't until she had left did you two break apart. Jordan have you a knowing grin.
"What?" You said indignantly.
He just laughed linking his arm around your waist. The two of you headed off, and, despite yourself, you smiled smugly.
Sebastian:
You were still at Kosti Lustr. The evening was calming down and you knew you'd be leaving soon. You'd had so much fun.
Sebastian looped his arm in yours, and the two of you let the club. The fresh air hit you and you sighed in satisfaction. The cool was relieving. It was only now you realized how long you two had been there. The sky was tainted pink with the first light of day.
"You had fun," Sebastian said. It was a statement not a question.
You nodded. You opened your mouth then hesitated. "Thank you..." You said at last.
He glanced at you sideways a half smirk teasing his lips. You looked at the sky sighing. "I'm loving this dawn lighting."
"It's quite appropriate I would say," Sebastian nodded.
"For?" You raised an eyebrow.
"This," he lifted a hand to your face, and pressed his lips against yours.
You gasped against his mouth. Your heart was pounding out of its chest, but you responded quickly. The kiss was surprisingly soft. You were hesitant not wanting to seem to eager, but he didn't seem to mind being more dominant. Finally you broke apart.
"Wow..." You whispered.
Sebastian grinned. "Wow indeed."
Raphael:
You and Raphael had been spending a lot more time together. Some of your friends made suggestive comments from time to time, but you pointedly ignored them.
It was a starless night. You and Raphael were sitting on the roof of Dumort. You were humming a lullaby you had long since forgot the words to. You hands were enclosed in Raphael's and he absentmindedly rubbed circles on the back of your hand.
Everything was so peaceful, so perfect. You lifted one of your hands to brush your hair from you face. Suddenly the strong scent of blood wafted through the air. Your fangs involuntarily shot out. Your hand was too close, and a shallow cut formed on your hand.
"Ah, fuck," you grimaced as blood began to run down your hand.
You noticed Raphael hand gone extremely tense. You turned to look at him. You saw a look in his eyes. A look you'd seen on many a vampire, a look you'd worn a few times yourself. The look of tortured hunger. Oh no.... You thought.
"(Y/N).... I'm so sorry," he whispered. Though he was trying to lean away from you he was unwillingly gravitating towards you.
Your hand was still frozen by your neck. Blood was running down your arm. You knew what was about to happen. There was no way to avoid it. Depending on how strong his hunger was Raphael could possibly kill you.
He leaned towards you. You didn't move. Whether it was due to shock, or fear, or maybe just because you loved him so much you didn't move.
You closed your eyes. It's okay, (Y/N). You've lived awhile... A normal mortal life. Everything will be okay.
Then you felt it, Raphael, but the pressure wasn't against your hand. It was against your lips. You opened your eyes. He was kissing you... He leaned away before you could respond.
You still saw it. The look of hunger in his eyes, but he hadn't gone for your bleeding hand.... He'd kissed you.
"You should get something to eat," you said quietly.
He nodded standing. He helped you up and the two of you headed back into Dumort. Your cut was already beginning to heal. You glanced at Raphael. Your love for him grew stronger than you even thought possible.
In your mind, there couldn't have been a more romantic gesture than what he'd just done for you. You were sure anyone else would've killed you, whether they loved you or not. Raphael hadn't, and that spoke volumes.
Camille:
Camille was going to a small get together with a few old acquaintances of hers, and she asked you to come along.
You agreed with slight reluctance. Though you were willing to do most anything for Camille, you wouldn't know these people and most likely they'd regard you distastefully.
The time came. You dressed up nicer than you probably ever had, and arrived with Camille at the party. It was just what you had expected. Classy, elegant, esteemed.
You knew a few of these peoples names, but only because they were spoke of around the Shadow World. For the most part you didn't know anyone. You stuck close to Camille's side.
The night wore on, and you were losing interest in the conversations around you quickly. Camille was in a deep conversation with a man and a woman in front of you. You'd stopped listening about halfway through and began to just watch their movements.
You were completely spaced out when suddenly Camille pressed her lips against yours. You gasped. Her lips were soft and cool. The kiss was chaste and over too quickly. You had no time to comprehend anything before it was done.
They went back to their conversation. You were a blushing mess. You tried to control yourself. You heard Camille laughing softly, and you elbowed her blushing harder.
Once you regained your composure you spent the rest of the night stealing sideways glances and your lovely girlfriend. You silently wondered when you'd get to try that kiss again.
A/N: I liked this one. It was fun to write. Tell me what you think.
Yet another shout out to Aspired-Author for help with Raphael's preference. (Sorry if you're getting tired of these. It's her fault XD)
If you want me to add someone, you have a request, or an idea for a preference just comment or private message me. Vote, share, and comment.
Ave fangirls and boys!
