Chapter 1
Y/N's POV
It was almost a year ago that Kalmaar attacked Ninjago city.
Almost a year ago my life was ruined. Almost a year ago everyone I know died. Almost a year ago I had lost my family.
The sunlight shined under the curtains and I pulled the blanket over my head. '5 more minutes-' I mumbled.
Wait. Why did I even think of "almost a year ago". My sleepy mind fell into a flashback.
-Flashback -
I was sitting in a random tree making pictures of the sunset. The sun created beautiful colors in the sky. The sun looked like it touched the water 2and the sea glowed in the evening light.
Then a shadow appeared in the middle of the sun. My phone gave a emergency warning. Clouds "flew" trough the air. The wind howled. It began to rain.
Then everything happened really fast. The last thing I noticed was the water. Speeding towards me like a tsunami. And the sea serpent. Wojira. Of the legends. And on top of it, a merlopian warrior stood. I thought they only existed in legend. The legend's real! I thought, before I leaped out of the tree as it was pulled over by the water.
I swam and held my head above the water. Till a brick hit my head. Ouch. Was my only reaction.
Then I passed out.
-End of flashback-
Ugh. I thought. Why did I have to remember that.
I came out of bed and made myself breakfast.
It was Day of the Departed. So it was time to remember my family.

Now I sat on a bench in the park of Ninjago City, just thinking and listening to the sounds of the city.
'Its day of the departed. No one would notice a ghost.' I heard someone mumble. I turned, and saw, to my surprise, a ghost.
His skin was translucent green, he had shoulder-long, black hair with a green streak in it. He had piercing, dark green eyes and dark circles around them. His face was a bit arrogant, but a smug and sarcastic grin crackled on his greenish lips. He wore dark green shorts, a sort of grayish green ninja gi, an black cape around his shoulders, dark gray boots and black gloves. Although he had scars all over his body, he looked quite handsome.
Wait. Have I just only made the description of one of them? Yeah I did.
The other one, a girl, had the same green skin and dark circles around her eyes, but hers were red instead of dark green. She wore dark blue and dark red clothing, with some purple in it too. Even if she wearing a hood, I could see her black hair under it.
Eh.. I noticed you. my brain said.
'What did you say?' The girl asked.
'Did I say that out loud?' I asked, knowing the answer already.
'No.' the boy said, sarcasm dripping of his voice.
'I'll take that as a yes. What are you doing here? You're GHOSTS!' I exclaimed.
'I'm Morro. And she's Bansha. Who are you?' He said.
'Y/N.'
'Well, Y/N, we are doing our business, you do yours.' Morro said.
'Okay.' I said.
'We'll be going then.' Bansha said inpatient. She turned and, together with Morro, walked away.
When I was alone again, I began to think. I actually was alone. And alone as in no friends alone. That kind of alone.
I had this job at Diary Dragon, but that does not count as friends.
Another random thought popped into my head. Where are the ninja's?
Since the great flood they weren't to be seen, accept if there was a escaped prisoner or a crook and the ninja had nothing to do so they would de the work of the police.
And then it only would be four of them. The green ninja, the red ninja, the black ninja and the white ninja. Sometimes Samurai X would accompany them, but the blue ninja was nowhere to be seen. The water ninja had merged with the sea to stop Wojira, and her sacrifice saved us all. But my family did not escape. Only me.
With only my sad thoughts to accompany me, I was quite lonely.
I would need a friend. And really quick.
