Who looked at the list of the main story and pointed out a problem with the Garmadon X (Y/N) X Wu ending.

This lead to a cute story about a young Morro and (Y/N) to being longer and adapted to solve the problem :D

In the early hours of the next morning, a warm humid breeze blew into the monastery, carrying the sound of birds outside loud and clear.

Wu was checking in on everyone after he finished his morning meditation. Morro was still resting and still clutching (Y/N)'s jacket. Wu decided not to wake him. The poor boy was already stressed.

Wu next checked in on his two surprise guests Krux and Acronix were also still fast asleep, side by side. Wu was somewhat jealous of their brotherly relationship. Wu would love to have that back and watching the brothers really stung quite a bit.

Next Wu went to cheek on (Y/N) to the Spinjitzu Masters surprise (Y/N) was awake but highly disoriented. "I don't feel good." (Y/N) said glassy-eyed with pale circles stained the skin beneath her usually bright eyes.

"You have an infection, (Y/N). Please stay in bed and get some rest while I treat you, all right?" Wu instructed and reached for the medicine. He'd made sure the medicine was near the bed for easy access.

(Y/N) nodded, only to wince as the pounding in her head reminded her not to do that.

"How do you feel?" Wu asked handing (Y/N) a drink of juice that he'd insisted that she'd drink.

"I don't feel good." She repeated as she took a few sips. "It feels as though everything is down the end of a long tunnel." (Y/N) groaned out.

"That's the fever, (Y/N)." Wu informed her while retrieving the still mostly full cup of juice before (Y/N) could let it slip from her uncaring fingers to pour over the blankets. "Your body is fighting off the infection."

Wu settled on the edge of the bed and laid the palm of his hand across (Y/N)'s forehead to assess (Y/N)'s continued condition.

"Could you leave it there?" (Y/N) muttered, catching Wu off guard. "What?" Wu asked in surprise. "Your hands, they're cool. Leave them there?" (Y/N) said as she snuggled back beneath the covers.

Wu chuckled softly Wu laid his hand over her forehead and soothed down her hair before saying. "Whenever I was sick. I wanted my father to do the same thing." Wu confided softly. "Everything in Ninjago shrank to just his hands, they were such a large source of comfort and so cool against my burning skin."

(Y/N) cracked open an eye. "You got sick?" She questioned in an almost not believing tone.

"I had a terribly high fever along with an even worse headache. I was so sensitive to sound that everyone's voices became shrill, high sounds that made me literally throw up. In desperation, Father laid me on his lap, wrapped me up in his arms until all I could hear was the murmur of his voice and his cool hands on my skin. He'd cradled me as though I was a baby and sent me into sleep. Wu said, shaking his head as he remembered. "There was nothing in the world like his touch when I was sick."

(Y/N) went quiet before saying. "It must have been nice... My people weren't like that." (Y/N) sadly admitted. "Kindness was just another weakness, one that could get you killed."

"What about your mother or father? Surely they were kind?" Wu politely questioned. "I only had the one creator and she was nothing like yours." (Y/N) answered truthfully. The high fever was still playing with her mind causing her to let slip information.

Wu bit his lip. He didn't want to gather more information on (Y/N) under these types of circumstances but to know more about her that she was so willing to tell him was too great of a temptation.

"What was she like?" Wu asked succumbing to the temptations of gaining more knowledge.

"She wanted revenge on Ninjago." (Y/N) said completely stunning Wu. "Still wants it. If she's found another way to cheat death." (Y/N) dejectedly admitted.

"Cheat death?" Wu asked in bewilderment having recovered from his stunned silence.

"She wanted me to be her weapon, made me, hurt me, forced me to fight. I chose... I chose no." The words caught in (Y/N)'s throat as she recounted the to the Spinjitzu Master. "I said no. First time I chose. I'd never chosen before. Free will, I never had free will before and chose no." Tears were dripping down her face as she confessed this to Wu.

Wu's brows furrowed as he contemplated all of this new information.

"The scars on your back?" Wu said out loud in horror. (Y/N) nodded sadly. "Hela. She's your m-creator?" Wu said putting the puzzle pieces together. (Y/N) nodded again.

"Stopped her the first time. Thought she was dead but she came back as a ghost, to try and take over Ninjago with another army, stopped her again. Necromancers are hard to kill." (Y/N) affirmed as Wu soothed her trying to calm her he could tell she was getting worked up.

"Shhh, It's all right. You're okay." Wu said comforting (Y/N), his calloused hand lovingly caressing her face. "Hush now. You were very good, my dear." Wu continued to whisper sweet nothings to (Y/N) to gently to calm her.

"You can rest now. You're all right. Sleep, (Y/N)." Wu said his heart growing heavy as (Y/N) turns laying on her side.

Wu proceeded to lay down next to her on the bed. He was now, face to face with (Y/N). Wu's eyebrows were knitted in worry as he noticed (Y/N) looked like a scared puppy. Wu's heart melted at that and he sighed quietly.

(Y/N) knew that it was childish and probably quite pathetic but she refused to look Wu in the eyes. Instead, settling for staring at the rather plain and uninteresting bedsheet and ignoring Wu's prying eyes on her face.

Wu sighed, gently gripped (Y/N)'s chin and maneuvered her face until they made eye contact once more. (Y/N) appeared a bit sheepish at that.

"You did so much good. You're not alone anymore. If she comes back we'll stop her together this time." Wu promised her.

Wu knew that (Y/N) was so brave and held so much pain inside herself, she fought and suffered but still had so much good inside her, even if she herself didn't realise it.

(Y/N) yanked her chin away from the spinjitzu master's grip. "Don't promise things you can't keep." (Y/N) told him. Wu troubled by (Y/N)'s words pulled (Y/N) into his chest and snuggled her possessively.

"That is absolutely ridiculous, (Y/N)." Wu explained sincerely. "I can't just sit back and watch you get hurt. I simply cannot. You're just going to have to get used to it."

(Y/N)'s eyes widened but otherwise said nothing. Wu placed his forehead against (Y/N) to check her temperature. (Y/N) froze and blushed a bright pink.

What was happening? This was oddly affectionate? (Y/N) did not know how to react so she just stuttered out another question. "W-why?" Was all (Y/N) was able to get out.

"(Y/N), I assure you. You need to trust me. I would never hurt you." Wu softly answered as he took (Y/N)'s left hand in his and brought it to his lips, kissing the bandages softly and gazed into (Y/N)'s beautiful eyes.

Wu smiled fondly at his (Y/N) and stroked her cheek softly with his thumb. "You'll be fine, (Y/N)." Wu said honestly as he continued to stroke her cheek. Wu wrapped his arms around (Y/N), kissed her forehead and closed his eyes. Right now they could both use some rest.

(Several Days Later)

Wu felt a smile light up his face as he saw (Y/N) slowly open her eyes and then turn to him in weak confusion. "Where am I?" (Y/N) questioned looking around the room.

"Home." Wu told her, feeling utterly relieved that (Y/N) had finally overcome the infection and nasty fever. "You were sick, remember?" Wu prompted.

(Y/N) thought for a moment, and then realization lit up her features. "Oh yeah... The grundle." (Y/N) said with some foggy memory of what had taken place.

"Wha... What happened..." (Y/N) asked trying to piece together her memories of the last week and a half. Wu already knew what she was trying to say and moved over until he was sitting beside (Y/N) on her makeshift bed. He affectionately took her hand and smiled.

"You had collapsed. You had some kind of blood poisoning or something that caused high fever and infection. So I brought you home to treat your wounds. It has been very touch and go." Wu explained his tone soft and low which was a relief because of the migraine pulsing in the back of her head.

(Y/N)'s mind, despite being a muddled mess, due to her recovery managed to hear the increasing worry in the spinjitzu master's tone, despite her pulling through.

"You're fine now, don't worry. I brought you home on time to stop the fever and stop the infection from causing any permanent damage." Wu informed her.

"Thank you, Wu." (Y/N) struggled to get out in order to thank him. Wu smiled back at her. "I know, (Y/N)... and I meant it before and I mean it now. I'll always be here for you. I'll take care of you." Wu saw a shimmer in (Y/N)'s eyes, as she turned her head in embarrassment.
