*Chapter Eleven* {Do Not Go Gentle}

"Are you going to come out or not?" Erica asks from outside the bathroom. I didn't respond right away. I just continue to stand in front of the mirror, my eyes glued on my figure.

Today is the decades dance. While I couldn't really find anything to wear that would be considered from the 20's, Kol managed to find something. I knew it wasn't Rebekah's seeing as she's practically a stick compared to me. I don't know where he got the dress but it was perfect with a side of sexiness.

The dress hugged my body and instead of pointing out the imperfections it accented the curves. It's a tan color with silver mixed in. The only thing that made me slightly uncomfortable is how revealing it is. My boobs were secure but they were showing more than what I'd like. Also, the dress is much shorter than some shorts I own. Despite all that, I still couldn't help but to love it. Although, I also couldn't help but to be extremely anxious to show it off.

"Kitkat!" Erica snapped breaking me from my thoughts. I bit the inside of my lip nervously before slowly opening the door. "Damn! You look hot!" Erica grins widely. I shrug and hug my body nervously. "You can't tell me that you don't think you look amazing," Erica says looking at me.

"I mean.." I take a deep breath. "I love the dress," I say looking back in the mirror.

"Can you do something for me?" Erica asks. I glance towards her. "Can you try and be confident?" She asks gently. "You look so amazing. You need to show yourself off and make everyone see how amazing you've always been,"

"Easier said than done," I laugh a bit. Erica smiles nodding.

"I know," She says messing with my hair a bit. "But I know you can do it. Especially when you walk in with three extremely handsome men that want nothing more than to show you off and eat you up," She says winking at me. I instantly blush.

"Literally" I mumble under my breath.

"Why are you always hiding your mark?" She asks looking at my elbow length gloves. "You should be showing it off, you should be showing them off."

"Erica, we're talked about this," I grumble pushing past her. "I don't want people to know,"

"Well, sorry to break it to ya babe but people are going to know sooner or later. It's a small town. You don't walk around with the three hottest Mikaelson's following your every step without someone asking questions and coming to conclusions," Erica says following me into the living room. I slowly come to a stop and spin on my heels towards her.

"Erica..." I says slowly. "Did you tell anyone?" I ask raising my eyebrows at her.

"What?! No!" She snapped. "I'm insulted you would think that. I'm your sister, I would never betray your trust like that." My gaze hardens. She holds eye contact for another minute before looking everywhere else.

"Who did you tell?" I ask slowly.

"I didn't tell-"

"Erica!" I snapped causing her to jump slightly. "Who the fuck did you tell?"

"Tommy ok?!" She snapped back. "I told Tommy," My mouth drops.

"Erica!" I screech.

"I'm sorry!" Erica shouts remorsefully. "We were hanging out and drinking, I started talking and I just couldn't stop. It just came out! I didn't mean too, I'm so sorry!"

"Erica," I whine whilst pacing. "You know Tommy can't keep a secret to save his life,"

"I know, I'm so sorry" Erica says fidgeting with her hands.

"Half the town probably knows by now!" I snap. "I specifically told you not to tell anyone, Erica!" I snapped glaring at her fiercely. "I don't want to be the it girl! I don't want to be the center of attention! I already have enough attention as it is by just being seen with them! Now I'll never get a moment of peace because you couldn't keep your fucking mouth shut!"

"Kitkat, I'm so sorry" Erica whispers.

"I don't believe you," I laugh shaking my head. "This is such an Erica thing to do,"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Erica asks.

"You're obsessive need to be in the drama!" I scream at her. "You want the attention! You want the praise of starting shit! You want the drama! You'll do anything to be the center of attention no matter who you hurt!"

"Kat, I was drunk! I didn't know what I was doing. I said I was sorry!" Erica snaps back.

"Oh, let's all forgive Erica for her mistakes just because she said sorry!" I say dramatically. "You know, saying sorry gives you a free pass the first few times but when you keep doing the same damn thing over and over again it's obvious that you're not sorry!" I snapped. "All I wanted was to go to a dance with my mates and just be with them. Now everyone's going to be watching us, everyone's going to be judging us, everyone's going to be talking about us,"

"Oh, give it a break!" Erica rolls her eyes. "Kat, you're dating the Mikaelson's! People are already watching, people are already judging, they're already talking! It's not going to change just because they know you're soulmates now"

"No, now everyone in the world will know I'm mated to the Mikaelson's" I tell her.

"That's a little dramatic, isn't it?" Erica laughs rolling her eyes.

"No, it isn't" I say walking up to her. "The Mikaelson's are known world wide. Half the town knows about us now, in a day the whole town, in a week the whole world. Do you know how much danger you just put me in? You painted the largest target on my back and put up a neon sign on where I am. All I wanted was to live in our little bubble and get to know them and have fun. Now everything's going to get complicated just because you can't keep you damn mouth shut"

"How dangerous are these guys you're with?" Erica asks in concern.

"They make mobsters look like fucking kittens," I snap walking past her. I shove my shoulder into hers and march to our room slamming the door shut.

"Well, the Kat was going to come out of the bag eventually," Kol teases. I almost scream in fright.

"Don't do that!" I snapped completely ignoring his pun. I look around the room noticing that all three of them are in here. "Have you guys been in here the whole time?" I ask hesitantly.

"Since you walked out of the bathroom," Elijah says gently. I sigh my shoulders slumping. I walk over to the bed and sit on the edge. "It's alright, Princess" Elijah says kneeling in front of me. "Our secret wouldn't have stayed hidden forever,"

"I just wanted to keep you three to myself for a little bit longer," I whispers to him sheepishly. Elijah smiles lifting his hand. His fingers gently pinch my chin.

"We will always be yours," Elijah promises me. "Yes, word will spread quickly but don't worry, Princess" He pleads. "We wouldn't allow any harm to come to you,"

"I guess I just like the thought of knowing something everyone else doesn't," I shrug a bit. "I know people have seen me with at least one of you here and there but it was still our secret."

"I've never had a steady girlfriend before," Kol speaks up. I pull my head from Elijah's grasp and look a Kol. He shuffles to sit beside me. He smirks and bumps his shoulder with mine. "That'll have to stay between us, Angel" I find myself slowly grinning.

"I've never found someone who I wanted to be with that makes me want to try and be a better person," Klaus speaks up for the first time. "Someone who I want to try and be worthy of." My grin soon becomes accompanied by a blush.

"I tend to be..." Elijah waves his hand slightly as he thinks of the right word.

"Dramatic?" Klaus suggests.

"Boring?" Kol mutters under his breath. I give them both annoyed looks. I slap Kol upside the head before pointing towards Klaus.

"You're going to accuse him of being dramatic? Really" I deadpan. Klaus rolls his eyes but steps back. I look back at Elijah and motion for him to continue. Elijah nods to me slightly.

"More serious than my siblings," Elijah finishes his thought. Kol snorts causing me to send him a warning look. He gives me a smirk and a wink. I smile and roll my eyes before looking back at Elijah. "You make me want to relax, to loosen up. I don't want to be in charge all the time, I want to have fun and relax but I want to do that with you. I see a future with you and I'll do anything to make that future happen"

"And of course, this all stays between us" Kol says winking at me. I blush a bit... a lot. "Although, I am sure people will notice that Elijah won't have a stick up his ass anymore"

"Kol!" I instantly scold. "One more comment like that and you lose the first dance" I threaten.

"Angel!" Kol whines. I continue to give him a stern look. He sighs and groans loudly. "Fine," He groans.

"Good boy," I wink at him. His flirtatious smirk comes back as if it never left.

"Well, are you ready to go, love?" Klaus asks.

"Oh! Right, the dance!" I laugh having momentarily forgotten that that's why we're all dressed up (although Elijah looks relatively the same as he does on any other day but nonetheless sexy as hell).

"What is it?" Elijah asks seeing my face fall slightly.

"There's no why I'm climbing out the window," I say motioning towards the window they had snuck in through. "Which means we're going out the front which means we'll have to go through Erica." I pout slightly.

"You could always just ignore her," Kol suggests.

"That would only make things worse and then I'd just be thinking about it all night," I sigh. "Besides, she's been dying to meet you three" I roll my eyes whilst standing.

"Whatever you want," Elijah smiles at me. He leans forward and presses a kiss on my forehead. I smile reaching for his hand. His lips, that are still on my forehead, turn into a smile as out fingers interlock with each other. "Come on," He gently leads me out of the room.

"Why does he get to hold her hand?" Kol asks Klaus quietly. I smile slightly.

"Hey-oh," Erica says not knowing that the three of them had been with me in the bedroom. "Uh, hi" She says waving slightly.

"Erica, this is Elijah" I motion to the one holding my hand. "Kol," I motion to the one wearing a white long-sleeved dress shirt with a black vest. "Klaus," I motion to the one in a white suit. "Boys this is my sister, Erica" I introduce.

"Pleasure to meet you," Elijah says politely.

"Umm, nice to meet you guys too," She says awkwardly. "So, uh... are you guys like...gangsters?" She asks. I slowly begin to smile.

"Not exactly," Klaus smirks.

"You guys won't... You guys won't hurt Kitkat, right?" Erica asks trying to sound stern but finding the three of them extremely intimidating.

"Hurting her never has and never will even cross our minds," Elijah says sternly. I wrap my arm around his while giving his hand a gentle squeeze.

"No, we would never hurt Kat," Kol shakes his heart while taking a step forward. "Those who hurt her, however-"

"Kol," I say sternly. He continues to stare at my sister, no doubt glaring or giving her a malicious smirk, before turning on his heels to give me his playful smile.

"We should get going, the dance has already started," Elijah says glancing at his watch.

"Right, are you and Tommy going?" I ask forcing myself to be friendly. Erica gives me a look obviously sensing my fake friendly tone.

"Probably not," Erica shakes her head.

"Shame," I shrug. "I'm sure everyone would love to talk about the two high school graduates party crashing," I say sarcastically.

"No, instead they're just going to talk about the girl with three soulmates and wondering how the sex is and all the positions." Erica shot back. I glared at her and she glares back.

"Alright, let's go," Elijah decides gently pushing me towards the door.

"Use protection!" Erica shouts back.

"Ok, you know what?!" I snap going to turn back towards her but Elijah keeps pushing me out of the house. "God, I hate fighting with her," I grumble pinching the bridge of my nose. "Every time we do we always resort to cheep shots that only hurt each other but God she pisses me off,"

"Oh, Precious, look! A limo!" Kol says cheerfully. I look up and instantly grin.

"Oh my God a limo!" I squeal practically running towards it. "This is going to be so much fun!"
