Jason started shooting his movie which meant less time to spend together act lovey dovey.The press the idea of me being busy with school and Jason with his acting so didn't question the less time we spent together. Kat kept pestering me to introduce her to Jason and she got support from Kahlan.I can't stand the way they will behave around him.I knew Kahlan will be worse but Kat wasn't any better.
"Come on Mandy just once.What's more awesome than a movie night with the Jason Steward?" She asked the last part with a dramatic tone and I just rolled my eyes.
"My pride and dignity.I can't ask him"
"Pride comes before fall"
"I ll rather fall into the lion's den than ask Jason to come for a movie night" o,k maybe I was exaggerating but still I don't want to give Jason the Satisfaction.
"Please please please Mandy.Do it for me your BFF." She pleaded.
"Kat I don't want it."
"Ok do it as my birthday gift"
"You birthday is like a month away"I pointed out.
"As a pre birthday gift" she tried again. Batting her eyes with a puppy dog eye look and a pouty lips. I groaned.
"Fine!" I sighed. I hate how that works all the time. That look comes before a silent treatment that will last for a few weeks.As pathetic as this she being my only friend means I can't stand a silent treatment from her.
"Yay! Call him!" she excliamed.
"Now?"
"of course.I know you. immediately we step out of the cafeteria you are going to change  your mind.so call him now he is on lunch break now." I watch her with a disbelieving look.
"What? Am a fan am entitled to know his everything he does and when he does it" she defended and sipped her coke.
"I ll pretend you don't sound creepy at all". I picked up my phone and dailed Jason's number. He made memorise his number claimed it was a cute couple thing.He answered after the second ring.
"Hello" my voice came out high pitched.
"Amanda?" he asked uncertainly.
"Yeah" I answered acting like it's a normal thing to happen.
"I must be dreaming.You actually called me.I was shocked when your name flashed across my screen.To what do I owe this pleasure?" he clearly sounded amused and that was really getting on my nerves.I really wanted to hung up but as I looked at Kat's hopeful eyes I couldn't let her down.
"i-um- was wondering if you were free this Friday night?" I painfully asked.
"Yes any problem?" I could see the smug smile on his lips.Probably enjoying my discomfort.Now comes the hard part.
"I wanted to um.." I can't do it.Kat mouthed "go on" I just glared at her.
"to what?" and the amused tone returns,
"to invite you to my house um a movie night"
"Wow,you just missed me so much you want to spend time with me" cocky much.
"Oh please I wouldn't want to spend a second with you even if-" Kat shook a head telling me not to be rude to him.I couldn't control my outburst.I took a deep breath and I could hear Jason laughing from the other side of the line.
"Look this is just a favour for a friend so for once in your life don't be your usual arrogant self and help make her happy"I said in the most sickly sweet voice I could muster.
"ok I ll be there on one condition that you tell say one positive thing about me " he said arrogantly.
"Never"I snapped.Kat mouthed what."I am not complimenting him to get him to come." I told Kat.
" Just do it Mandy.You promised"
"No I didn't" She pouted."Please please please"
I groaned.
"fine" After a minute of silent
"I'm waiting" Jason said
"Patient I am still thinking.o.k you jason have a nice hair even if it is as a result of artificial products"
"That's the worst compliment ever"
"Take it or leave it Sawyer." He laughed out loud.
" Tell Kat I ll see her on Friday.Have a nice d-"I hung up before he could finish.
"He said he would come." Kat squealed in delight." But seriously 'you have a nice hair?' you seriously lack creativity."
" That was the best I could come up with." I went to our next class after lunch.We have all our classed together which is great. The rest of the week she and Kahlan spoke of nothing but the movie night.It was torture. I listened to Kat the whole day and Kahlan when I went home.I thought I was going to die before Friday.I don't even know how I survived.Finally the day arrived.
"It's today"that the first thing Kat said to me when I got to school.
"Goodmorning to you too." I said sarcastically.
"Whatever. I hope Jason has not cancelled on us.?"
"No he sent a text this morning he would be there at 6" He squealed loudly people turned to look at her . I was already used to that it's like Im immune to her.kat went home with me after school she was having a sleepover at my place.She and Kahlan bought all the snacks needed and cleaned the house while I laid comfortable on the couch reading my novel. They rushed to go change at 5:45p.m. The doorbell sounded exactly 6pm.
"Mandy! Get the door"Kahlan screamed from her room. I opened the door to see a pizza delivery guy.We didn't even order pizza.
"Amanda it's me let me in" it was Jason with a cap on.This might be his disguise.I told him I don't want the reporters to know he was here since this is something personal.I closed the door.
"Pizza guy? really."
"This is the best disguise" he shrugged. Just then Kat and Kahlan came down the stair in their pretty dresses.
"Jason this is Kahlan my sister" I pointed to her. She had a huge smile on her face.
"Nice to meet you Jason" she was really controlling her excitement but you could still see.
"Pleasure is all mine" he kissed the back of her hand and I just rolled my eyes.
"And this is Kat my best friend"
"This is a dream come true I am so glad you came"
"Me too" the shook hands and Kat came in for a hug.
"its there pizza in that box?" I pointed to the box he was holding.
"uh yes"
I picked up the box and left them there.Kat and Kahlan were still gushing over him.I said down and dug into my pizza.
"Hello girlfriend" Jason said and tookback seat beside me on the couch.
"Go way"I said not looking at him.
"You are the worst host ever"
"I'm not the host my sister is go bother her instead."
"I quite remember receiving the invitation from you."
"Whatever"
"Jason dinner is ready"Kahlan screamed.
"Go eat"I shooed him away.He chuckled and left for the dinning room.Kahlan had to leave after dinner cause she had a date with her boyfriend.I wonder how he stands her worshiping Jason. Love sure makes you do crazy things.Kat and Jason joined me later they seemed to be  more of an acquaintances now.Kat made us watchn the twilight series which is her all time favourite movie till datd.Jason promised to get Robert's autograph for her.She fell asleep right in the middle of the second movie.so it was just Jason and I awake.He was sitting right beside me in the floor ignoring all my earlier protests.
"Who's Adam?" Jason asked breaking the silence.I turned my head swiftly to look at him and he was staring right at me urging me to answer.
