Y/n sat nervously at the elegant table, fidgeting with her napkin as she gazed up at the athlete.

"Just a few questions, Mr. Lee," she pleaded, her voice laced with persuasion.

"My team has been trying to reach your manager for days, but we haven't received a response. I promise it won't take long."

The athlete, sipping his tea, shook his head wearily. "I'm sorry, Miss...?" He trailed off, not recalling her name.

"Y/n," she filled in, her smile strained. "Y/n from News Daily. My editor is eager for an exclusive interview, and my promotion depends on it. We need it for Saturday's blog."

Mr. Lee's expression softened, but his resolve remained firm. "I understand, Y/n, but I'm exhausted. The competition has taken a toll on me, and I need some downtime. Perhaps another time?"

Y/n's eyes widened, her mind racing with the looming deadline.

She knew she couldn't force him, much as she wanted to. With a sigh, she nodded reluctantly. "I understand, Mr. Lee. I appreciate your honesty. Maybe next time, then?"

Mr. Lee smiled kindly and rose from his seat. "I apologize, Y/n. I truly am sorry. But I must take care of myself right now." He bowed slightly and walked away, leaving Y/n to her disappointment.

She watched him disappear into the crowded restaurant, her shoulders sagging in defeat.

"I hate pushing people like this," she muttered to herself, "but it's my job, right?" With a resigned sigh. She gathered her things and was about to leave when she stopped.

Y/n's eyes widened as she gazed at the stunning idol, Han Chaeun.

She couldn't believe her luck - the pictures didn't do her justice. Chaeun's beauty radiates from within, illuminating her entire presence. She was confused if she should click the pictures of the idol or not. She decided not to, she is just having her alone time.

But as Y/n watched, she noticed the tension in Chaeun's shoulders, her furrowed brow, and her frantic typing on her phone. She looked stressed, Well that could be because how hectic idol life is. But she and her group haven't made a comeback for 2 years.

She took out a slim cigarette from her bag and lit it up.

Suddenly, Chaeun's manager approached her. It looked like she told Chaeun to stop smoking and Y/n witnessed a shocking outburst.

Chaeun hurled water at her manager, her voice ringing out across the restaurant. "Shut up, I don't care about me being in public!”

The manager looked taken aback, and Y/n felt uncomfortable witnessing the scene.

As she quickly gathered her belongings and stood up, she thought to herself, "People aren't always as nice as they seem."

Maybe Chaeun was just having a terrible day. Y/n stepped into the elevator, relieved to escape the awkwardness.

But before the doors could close, a man rushed in, and Chaeun burst in after him, grasping his arm.

"Jungkook, wait! Where are you going?" Her voice was laced with desperation.

Jungkook turned, his expression calm, and asked, "How did you know I was here?"

Chaeun's grip on his arm tightened as she argued, "I know everything! You can't ignore me like this, not after...not after everything we've shared."

She felt like an intruder, but the elevator doors had already closed, trapping her in the uncomfortable scene.

“You are an idol, that's too much drama to be around. I don't like myself to be on social media.” He said. Y/n was a little surprised, wait the rumors are true? Chaeun was rumored to be seen with a business man on her trip to France. But no pictures were leaked, the man couldn't be seen in the pictures. So this was her boyfriend?

“Please, listen.” She cupped his face. “I keep our dating private?”

“Who the fck is dating you? You are so clingy, just because I fcked you a few times doesn't mean I want to date you.” The guy said.

And Y/n wanted to hit the head of this guy, how can he be so arrogant? He looks familiar to her, his name too.

Chaeun cupped his face, “Baby, you do like my body don't you? I am back in Korea after so long, didn't you miss me?”

She kissed him, he started kissing her back. Oh no, Y/n doesn't want to be here. This is too Much.

Y/n was confused what should she do? She enjoys drama but not make outs. She wanted to get off this lift, but these two were blocking her way. Nor does she want to see them doing this nasty In Front of her.

These two were wild. He pinned her to the wall while kissing her. Y/n tried to escape and go near the buttons she waited for the lift to open and quickly leave the lift.

She took a deep breath, she was suffocating there, even the lift was big enough. “Fck, Rich people are insane.” She mumbled.

Y/n reached her car, relieved to have escaped the tense situation in the elevator. But before she could unlock the door, a hand grasped her shoulder, spinning her around.

Jungkook's eyes blazed with anger as he snatched her camera from her hands.

"You're a reporter, aren't you?" he sneered, his voice low and menacing. "I dropped your card in the elevator. Did you take pictures of Chaeun and me?"

Y/n's eyes widened in surprise. "No, I didn't! I wasn't even planning to—"

But Jungkook didn't let her finish. With a swift motion, he smashed the camera to the ground, the sound of shattering glass and plastic filling the air.

Y/n's eyes widened in horror as Jungkook's insults rained down on her, his words dripping with venom.

"You fuckinh reporters are all the same, always looking for a scoop, no matter who you hurt. You're nothing but-”

Y/n's anger boiled over, interrupting his tirade. "That was company property! You had no right to destroy it! And I wasn't even going to write about you or Chaeun!"

“As if, people like you will leave such a news.” He said, Y/n was about to say something.

But Jungkook had already turned his back on her, striding away without a glance.

Y/n seethed, her hands clenched into fists as she gazed at the shattered remains of her camera.

She hadn't even taken a single picture, and yet she was treated like a criminal. The injustice burned within her, a fire that would not be easily extinguished.

She was not planning to expose him but now she was. He walked back to Chaeun and then they entered his car.

She took a picture of them on her phone. “Assh0le, jerk! Fcker! Who do he think he is?! I will let the whole world know about you!”

___

Jungkook strode through the grand entrance of the mansion, his footsteps echoing off the marble floors. It's almost midnight but his family is so chaotic, they are still awake and everyone was engrossed in their own pursuits.

To his left, his younger cousin Yeonjun sat on the floor, surrounded by scattered textbooks and notes, his brow furrowed in concentration. Meanwhile Soobin, Jungkook’s brother was showing him something on his phone.

“Isn't this girl hot?” Soobin asked. Yeonjun looked up for a second.

“Like, she is okay.” Yeonjun replied and looked down at the book. Soobin chuckled.

“Okay? Bro, check her out. She is literally so hot. I think she has some work done on her boobs, but she is pretty. Should I ask her to send her boob picture?” He said. Yeonjun made a disgusted face and pushed Soobin’s face.

“Eww, that will sound so disrespectful.” Yeonjun said. Soobin winked at her.

“I know how to handle girls and ask them in ways they find respectful.”

On the opposite side of the room, Jungkook's aunt, Taehyung's mother. Jungkook smiled. He is glad that it's only his favorite people who are awake right now.

As Jungkook made his way deeper into the room, his family members looked up, their faces lighting up with smiles.

“Hyung!” Soobin went to Jungkook, “You missed the F1 race with me and Yeonjun. It was so epic.”

Yeonjun stood nearby with a smile on his face.

“I had some work.” Jungkook said while taking off his coat.

“Work? I can see it.” Soobin teases seeing the hickeys on Jungkook. He put his finger over mouth as Taehyung's mother was there too. Soobin just laughed.

“Jungkook, have you eaten dinner? Should I ask the maids to serve you?” Taehyung's mother asked.

“Yes, please I am so hungry.” He replied with a huge smile on his face.. Taehyung's mother is like his mother. Jungkook's mother passed away, and he never considered any of his stepmoms his mother as they keep changing and keep getting younger and closer to his age.

She smiled and then told the maids. Jungkook's aunt, her eyes filled with concern, turned to him and asked, "Jungkook, sweetie, have you spoken to Taehyung lately? He hasn't been answering my calls."

Jungkook shook his head, "No, Aunt, I haven't talked to him recently." He pulled out his phone and dialed Taehyung's number. The FaceTime call connected instantly, and Taehyung's bright smile filled the screen.

~"Hey, cuz!" Taehyung exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with mischief. Jungkook was about to say something but got interrupted.

Jungkook's aunt leaned in, her voice stern, "Taehyung, why haven't you been answering my calls? You know I worry about you."

~Taehyung's expression turned sheepish, "Sorry, Mom. I've just been really busy. And if Jungkook calls, I know our conversation will be over in five minutes. But with you, we always end up talking for hours!" He chuckled, trying to diffuse the tension.

His mother playfully rolled her eyes, feigning offense, "Oh, so I'm too talkative, is that it?"

~Taehyung laughed, "No, no, Mom! It's just that Jungkook and I have our own way of communicating. But don't worry, I'm coming home soon, and we can catch up then. I promise."

Just then, Soobin joined in, “I want to talk to Hyung.”

Jungkook smiled and handed his phone to Soobin, who eagerly started chatting with Taehyung.

“Don't think you're getting off that easily. You owe me a gaming session, remember?" Soobin said.

~Taehyung grinned, "Yeah, yeah, I haven't forgotten! We'll play soon, Soobin. I promise."

As the call ended, Jungkook's aunt turned to him, her expression serious, "You two are more than cousins, aren't you?"

Jungkook nodded, a small smile on his face, "We're like brothers, Aunt. Closer than brothers."

Soobin chimed in, "Yeah, and I'm the little brother who gets to tag along!"

Yeonjun playfully ruffled Soobin's hair, "You're the little brother who always gets in the way, Soobin!"

The room erupted in laughter, and the tension was broken.

“Wait, who is Hwang Y/n?” Soobin said while staring at the card he picked up from the ground near Jungkook's coat. “A reporter? Do you like going out with her?”

Jungkook took the card, “No, ew. My standards will never drop that low.”

He looked at the card and stared at her reporter ID. The girl is fine maybe, but he dislikes how nosy reporters are.
___

Y/n's fingers flew across the laptop keyboard as she typed away, her brow furrowed in concentration.

Her sister Yeji and Somi sat beside her, curiosity etched on their faces.

Somi picked up the broken camera from the table and asked, "What happened to this?"

Y/n didn't look up, "Just a little accident."

Yeji leaned in, peering at the laptop screen. "Are you writing about Jeon Jungkook?" she asked, a hint of amusement in her voice.

Y/n's eyes narrowed, "I'm exposing him for the world to see."

Yeji's expression turned serious, "You shouldn't, Y/n. He's a private person, and his family likes it that way."

Somi's eyes widened, "Isn't he the heir to that billionaire family? I've never seen much about him online."

Y/n snorted, "That's because he's a master at hiding his dirty secrets. But I know the truth. He's a manwhore, Yeji. He has so many love affairs, he can't even keep track of them all."

Yeji raised an eyebrow, "Well, I've seen pictures of him, and I have to say... he's extremely hot."

Y/n rolled her eyes, "That's exactly what he knows and he uses his hotness.”

“Oh my god is that Chaeun with him? These two are dating?” Somi asked.

“Oh god, this news will break the internet.”

“I don't care about exposing the idol relationship. I want to expose This arrogant jerk, Jeon Jungkook.” Y/n said.

“Noona, if you had met him, you should think about seducing him not destroying his image. “ Yeji said.

“I am not interested in disrespectful assh0les like him.”

The tension in the room was palpable as Y/n continued typing away, determined to reveal Jungkook's secrets to the world.

___

The grand estate of the Jeon family was abuzz with the who's who of high society, all gathered to celebrate his father and his stepmom 2nd Anniversary. Jungkook is just shocked how he is able to stick with one woman for 2 years.

Jungkook stood alone, his eyes scanning the room with a mix of disdain and boredom. He had never been fond of his father and stepmother, and the feeling was mutual.

Just then, his father beckoned him, a sly smile spreading across his face. "Jungkook, come here, son. Aren't you going to congrat us?”

Jungkook's instincts told him to ignore the summons, but something about his father's tone made him hesitate. He made his way over, his eyes locked on his father's smirking face. “Of course not, I was thinking about it. Congrats on the 2nd anniversary of your 5th marriage. Are you planning a 6th marriage soon?”

"Look at you, all grown up and still as arrogant as ever," his father said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

“I got it from you.” Jungkook said. His father chuckled.

“I wished you had gained my business skills too.” He said Jungkook doesn't need to prove to his father that he is good.

But Jungkook didn't rise to the bait. He had long learned to ignore his father's mocking remarks, and instead, he stood tall, his expression neutral.

He then decided to leave. Jungkook stood alone at the edge of the lavish party, his eyes scanning the room with a mix of disdain and boredom. His father's mocking remarks still lingered in his mind, fueling his frustration.

Just then, his phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out to see Taehyung's name flashing on the screen. He answered, his voice low and urgent.

"Hey, Tae.”

“Taehyung's voice was warm and concerned. "What's going on, Kook? You sound stressed."

Jungkook's eyes darted around the room, “I am not, I am just bored. When are you coming back?”

~“Soon, I know when I come back you will be busy at work all day long.” Taehyung said.

“You will start working with me, I can longer tolerate dad alone.” Jungkook exclaimed.

~”I will think, for now I have no internet or thinking. That is why I am not coming back because once I do, mom will force me to join the company.” Taehyung said. Jungkook chuckled.

“Don't you think it will be fun to do business together?”

~ “No, things get messy when business or love get involved in a friendship,”

“Love? Have you seen your type? We both are completely opposite so there is no way love gets involved between us. And it's not friendship, we share blood with Taehyung, so things will be smooth with us. You and I can solve everything.”

As he spoke, Soobin came to him. “Hyung, you have to see this. You are all over the news.”

“Don't tell me it's because of Chaeun, I should have never gone out with her.” Jungkook said.

Soobin shook his head. “No, the article is about you only.”

He pulled it away from his ear to see a notification from a news app.

His eyes became darker. He read the headline: "Jungkook's Love Life: A Game of Musical Chairs”

What angried Jungkook more was the part where he got compared to his father.

“It seems like Jungkook has taken a page from his father's playbook - literally! Just like dad, Jungkook has a knack for juggling multiple relationships at once. But instead of marriages, it's a revolving door of romantic entanglements!

We're starting to think he's allergic to commitment... or monogamy... or honesty. But hey, at least he's consistent, right?”

~”What happened to Jungkook? Are you okay?” Taehyung asked who was still on the phone.

Jungkook's eyes locked onto the screen, his face ashen. "I don't know, but I am about to destroy a whole generation of a girl.”

__

Y/n strode into the office, her eyes fixed on her phone as she read the comments section of her article. Y/n reads the comments out loud..

- "Someone needs to give this man a Tinder account and a 'How to Commit' guide”

- "Jungkook's relationships are like my favorite snack - short-lived, addictive, and leave me wanting more"

- "Is he trying to break the world record for most simultaneous love interests?”

She couldn't help but chuckle at the savage remarks left by readers. "This is gold," she thought to herself.

"Ah, boss, I think it's time we discussed my promotion," Y/n said, still reading her phone. "I mean, this article is blowing up, and I'm the one who exposed the truth about that womanizer—"

Y/n's words trailed off as the chair behind the desk swiveled around.

Her eyes snapped up from her phone, and her jaw dropped. It wasn't her boss sitting in the chair, but Jungkook himself, looking smug and unbothered.

Y/n's face turned bright red as she realized her mistake. "Uh, I... I thought you were... um..."

Jungkook raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement playing on his lips. "The boss? Or the womanizer you so eloquently wrote about?"

Y/n's eyes widened, and she took a step back, her mind racing. "Uh, I... I just wrote the truth..."

But Jungkook simply chuckled and leaned back in the chair, steepling his fingers together. "Oh, really do you have any idea how much ‘truth’ I can write about you, Y/n. Care to join me for a chat?”
