So, today's Tuesday. Which means true to my word, I'm about to let Alisha out of the cells. I'm really hoping she backs off after this but who knows.

As we get to the front of her cell, her head perks up hearing us.

"Hello Alisha. I hope you enjoyed the time you had to think in here. Are you ready to rejoin the pack?" I ask trying to keep my tone void of emotion. 

She glared at me for a second before plastering the fake smile back on. "Of course Luna. I'd love to put all of this behind us."

Yeah... she needs better acting lessons...

"Ok. Then let her out please." I smile sweetly at her.

"Thank you... Luna." She grumbles out.

I go back into the pack house to see Trav there playing the PS4.

"Ohh, can I join ya?" I beam. Yes, I love games. I'm not the best or anything but I still have fun.

He chuckles before handing me another controller. "Here ya go. Didn't pick you as the gaming type."

I put my hand to my heart in mock pain. "Ouch! That hurts, just because I'm going to be Luna?"

"Well that and you're a girl. Sorry to say, you're a rare breed." He laughs.

After an hour of playing we hear the door open and in walks Derek and the doctor I've met.

We both pause the game and jump up. I go and give Derek a quick kiss then turn to see Trav doing the same to the doc.

I must have a confused look on my face because Trav laughs and tells me, "She's my mate, Mila. I believe you've met before but we've never been in the same room. She's pretty busy some days at work."

"Ohhh ok. Yeah, she's a great doctor though." I chuckle.

"I'm Katy by the way. We never got properly introduced." She shoots Derek a quick pretend glare.

"What?! I was kind of just happy my mate woke up! It's not my fault it slipped my mind..." he says while rubbing the back of his neck.

We all went and had lunch afterwards and I explained that I'd let Alisha out.

I'm told in just over a week I'll be welcomed to the pack as Luna, as well as Sam will get introduced into the pack.

I'm currently keeping Derek company while he does pack work. He's occasionally asking my opinion, which is great. I don't really know how to be a Luna so helping makes me feel useful.

"So, I'd like to take you on a date tonight." He says breaking my day dreaming.

"A date?" I chuckle. "Why?"

"Well... We haven't been on one yet and it feels like so much stressful stuff has happened, it'll be nice to have a nice night, just us." He explains.

Hmm he's not wrong. Maybe a night just us will be good.

"Ok. Sounds good to me! When are we doing this?"

"Friday night. I want you to dress nice casual." He smiles at me.

This is going to be so nice. No one else but us. I never even thought about dates, we're mates after all.

So, it's officially Friday. Here I am in my robe drying my hair when I hear a  knock on the door. I open it to see Evey with a big grin on her face.

"Hey! Thought I'd come help you get ready." She beams. This girl's got way too much energy.

"Yeah sure, I could use some help with hair and make up to be honest." I tell her.

She does a nice french braid and smokey eyes with dark red lipstick. It looks really nice, I might have to learn how she does that.

I go get dressed into a black skater skirt and a red singlet with lace around the bottom and my converse.

"You look hot. My brothers going to have a hard time behaving himself.... eww I take that back..." he scrunches her face up.

"Thanks, I think." I chuckle at her.

We hear a knock and know it's Derek.  Evey opens it and he gives her a confused look.

"What are you doing here..." He trails off after spotting me walk towards him.

"Wow... You look amazing." He breathes out.

"Thanks." I say fiddling with my fingers, feeling oddly exposed under his gaze.

He put his arm around my waist and we go down to the car. We say goodbye to Evey before going to where ever we're going.

We pull up to a spot near the forest that looks dense. I'm confused but stay quiet, Derek knows where we are.... I hope....

We walk for ten minutes, before coming to a clearing with loads of wild flowers around the forest edge. In the middle is a picnic blanket and a basket. The tree line even has fairy lights hanging around it to leave a light glow to the secluded area.

"Oh my goddess! Did you do this?!" I squeel as I'm blown away by how magical this looks.

"Yeah... do you like it?" He asks nervously.

"Like it? This is amazing. The flowers are beautiful and the stars are so easy to see." I say with excitement evident in my voice.

He chuckles at mw.before leading us to go sit down and enjoy some fruits, cheese and wine. We're eating and talking about random things. The one thing I love is how easy we talk to each other.

After a while we're just laying on the picnic blanket looking at the sky in a comfortable silence. This all just feels magical, I've always loved the forrest and to be alone in such a beautiful space with him makes it all better.

"I'm so glad you did this. Its been the best night I've had in a while." I tell him honestly, while rolling onto my side to look at him.

"I'm glad you liked it. I've never really gone on a date before..." he said looking a bit embarrassed.

Awww how cute. He's blushing. It warms my heart to know that he at least didn't date before me. I love that we're both the same in that aspect.

We decide to head home after a while, when the temperature starts to drop. We're both relaxed and ready to call it. Heading back to the car, I can't help feel like I'm being watched...

I look around but can't see anyone and can't smell any odd scents though. I hope it's just my mind being paranoid, but I also know that's unlikely. Wolves tend to have pretty good instincts but I'm so happy with our date that I brush it off.
