quarante deux

"I know sex is your coping mechanism, but I'm not letting you ruin your relationship."

Taehyung scoffed, fat tears rolling down his cheeks and falling onto Yoongi's.

"It already is."

Yoongi's eyes were slightly wide in surprise and worry, darting from one of Taehyung's eyes to the other and letting the tears fall on his own cheeks.

He slid his thumbs to Taehyung's eyes, slowly wiping his tears away.

"Taehyung-ah." He began, his hands going to his hair, running through his thin strands before his arms were wrapped around his neck. "It's normal for couples to fight."

He tightened his grip around Taehyung's neck, making the boy's body fall flush against his own in a tight embrace.

"They fight, but they make up. You have to talk it out with him, calmly, and then forgive and move on." he uttered slowly, stroking his back softly as he hiccupped.

"I'm scared, hyung." Taehyung uttered between choked sobs.

"I know you are." Yoongi chuckled. "That's because you really love him."

"I think Taehyung's cheating on me with Yoongi-hyung." Jungkook mumbled angrily as he threw his body on the couch of Seokjin's living room, joining the older who sat opposite him.

The older looked over his phone to him, checking if he was joking, before letting out an amused scoff.

"What's so funny huh?" Jungkook barked.

"You're an idiot." Seokjin smiled as he shook his head, going back to his game on his phone.

Jungkook was fuming. Despite his day starting good with the news of his good grade, it had only gone downhill from there. First there was the fight at the karaoke, that had greatly pissed him off, and then to his luck, on his way back he'd bumped into Hyunshik, resident asshole of the school.

Hyunshik had asked him about Taehyung in a rather condescending way, reminding him of that time at the locker room and calling Taehyung a slut and saying Jungkook must have lost his mind to go for people like him, let alone guys. Jungkook hadn't answered his provocation, simply ignoring him and continuing his way, but his words had still hurt. Then he'd gone to Seokjin's house, but forgot the older was still at the karaoke, which left him alone in the house to just swim in negative feelings.

He'd called Taehyung in an effort to get some comfort, but of course he'd have to be at Yoongi's house. Not that Jungkook had anything against Yoongi, they were friends, but the fact that he knew he'd already had sex with Taehyung on multiple occasions didn't sit well with him.

And now that Seokjin was back he was calling him and idiot. What a shity day.

"Shut up." He muttered.

Seokjin rolled his eyes, pausing his game and placing his phone on the coffee table.

"Kooks, i think you're tired and stressed." His voice was soft, not wanting to anger Jungkook even further. "There's no way Taehyung would cheat on you. Why in the world would you think that?"

"Yoongi-hyung's Taehyung's ex Seokjin!" He exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air as his wide eyes stared at the older.

"No he's not. They were fuck buddies. Just like you and Taehyung were in the beginning."

"They must have been more." his voice kept going up in volume.

"Ok then, why wouldn't Taehyung think you're cheating on him with me?" Jungkook was cut off guard by the question, his words being stuck in his throat.

"That's stupid." He scoffed after a few seconds of hesitation. "We're just friends."

Seokjin smiled knowingly, throwing him a sly look as he tilted his head slightly.

"Exactly my point." He stood up. "Now i'm going to leave you alone to ponder on what you just said." And with that, he left for his room, leaving Jungkook to be dumbfounded on the bed.

"Are you mad at me?" Jimin pouted as the two sat next to each other on a bench in the parc near the karaoke place, their bodies unusually far apart.

Hoseok sighed.

"No, I'm not."

Jimin played with his fingers nervously, not daring to look up to Hoseok.

"I feel really shity right now;" He chuckled.

"And what would make you feel better?" Hoseok asked, also not looking to the side to his boyfriend.

"A kiss."

Hoseok chuckled. As much as he wanted to be mad at Jimin, his boyfriend was just way too cute to resist. But he couldn't give in, so he stood up, turning around to face Jimin.

"How about this." he smiled. "You apologies to Yoongi-hyung, then we can go to that cat cafe you really like, and i'll kiss you as much as you'd like, then we'll go to the manga cafe and cuddle in the cushions while we read. Sound good?"

Jimin's eyes twinkled in the cutest of ways, momentarily replacing the guilt that had clouded them since they'd left the karaoke. He smiled brightly, taking the hand Hoseok had just extended to him and standing up as well.

"Sounds wonderful."
