The Next Day

Another beautiful day shined upon Japan as the sun's light cascaded across the land and shined through all the windows is possibly could. Shining through an tall apartment complex window, it lit up a very dark room and shined down on a set of sleeping eyes. The warmth of the light irritated the person as there was an irritated groan that was followed by the sound of a phone alarm going off.

"Jeez, shut up." A raspy and irritated voice spoke as a hand poked out from the blanket and reached over to the other side of the bed where the phone laid, and turned it off.

The lump under the blanket suddenly rose up before dropping the blanket back down as it was revealed to be you under the cloth. Your hair was messy and you placed one hand on the back of your neck as you cracked your neck and heard two pops before sighing and turning towards your clock that read 5:23 A.M.

"Damn, I woke up early again..." You muttered in irritation as you got up out of bed.

You went towards your bathroom that was on the right side of your bed and shut the door as you took a shower to freshen up. After cleansing yourself and changing into your work outfit, you walked out of your bedroom and down a small hall that had your washer and dryer and entered another part of your home, the living space. There wasn't much to it even though the room was very large. Just a long couch, coffee table, a Medium sized HD T.V that sat on top of a little Media stand, and a few magazines and newspapers spread on the coffee table or floor. You walked pass the couch and entered the small kitchen that was in the same room as you began to brew coffee before walking to your fridge and pulling out a bento box you made from last night. After packing your lunch into your bag and pouring your coffee into a thermos, you were outside of your apartment and locking your door as you headed towards an elevator to head down and begin your walk to the station.

"Damn it, what do I do? Today's the day..." You thought in irritation as you scratched the back of you neck and pulled out a pack of cigarettes from your coat pocket.

As you lit one up, a blue car pulled up beside you and the window opened up to reveal Koyanagi and her husband, Kabakura. He had spiky orange hair and light brown eyes as he sported a white button-up that was unfinished at the top, with a tie that was loose and had stripes for design. He leaned out the window with a friendly smile as he spoke to you.

"Hey, scumbag, you had another fight with my dear wife again? I'll kill you." He said with an irritated smile on his face as you just glared at him slightly.

"Shut up, will you? Besides, you're ogre wife was the one who kicked my door down first..." You trailed off.

"Ogre?!" Koyanagi said in shock of your insult.

"...Anyways, what are you doing?" Kabakura asked as you heard the doors suddenly unlock and he pointed to the back seat with his thumb.

"I'm smoking." You said while puffing a smoke cloud and entering the vehicle.

"Just blow it out the window and don't drop any ashes inside, will you?" He said as you stood there for a moment.

"...What a pain." You huffed as you puffed another smoke cloud and climbed into the backseat.

"Now, now, no need to be in an irritated mood. We'll need you at full capacity again today since its that time of the year..." Koyanagi said as you scoffed while staring out the window. "Club Recruitment Day..." She said with a smile as the car began to drive off.

With Erika, Her Point Of View

There I was, stood frozen in shock as me and my friends were surrounded by blood-thirsty creatures that had insane, crazed looks.

"Join the water-polo club!" I heard someone to my right yell out loud.

"No, join the reading club! Let's journey through the valley of books and get lost in a world of stories!" I yelped when a nerdy looking student holding a book suddenly popped up in front of me, but was suddenly tackled to the side.

"Screw that! Join the science and chemistry club! We disect some insane stuff! Look!" A boy wearing a lab-coat said with excitement as he held up a large frog in his hands.

"Gross!" Me, Akari, and Momochii all yelled before we all ran away as today was the day first-years had to pick clubs to join.

"This is crazy! Why are the clubs so desperate to recruit new members?! I had three flyers stuffed into my hands!" I heard Takuya yell as he raised the three flyers he had.

"I had more..." We all turned around and were shocked when we see Kurokiyama's shirt stuffed with flyers and other amenities from different clubs trying to recruit him, as a rolled up flyer was stuff into his mouth. 

"Hey, Erikachii..." I turned around when I heard Momochii call me as she tilted her head. "What club are you going to join?" She asked me as I raised a brow.

"What do you mean? I'm joining the volleyball club with you." I said to her as she slightly averted her eyes. "What's wrong?" I asked her as she had a conflicted look on her face.

"I...I'm thinking about joining a different club..." She said as both I and Akari were both surprised by her statement.

"Huh? Why? We planned for this since graduation from Middle School." Akari tried to reason with her.

"But..." Momochii held her arm and averted her sight from us. "...I just rode the bench, and didn't really play in games...When I did, I just ended up holding you two back. I'm sorry...I..." I had enough of what I was hearing and walked over to Momochii, grabbing her by the hands and staring her straight in the eyes.

"You were never a burden!" I practically yelled in her face as she was stunned. "Without you, our team back them would have fallen apart. You kept us together. You're amazing also, our coach was just stubborn, you'll be amazing when the season starts, I know it! So please, don't say you're a burden...!" I let out my feelings to her as she was visibly shocked and both of us began to get teary eyed as we hugged one another and sobbed like babies.

"Uwahhhh!! Erikachii!" Momochii cried out loudly.

"Momochii!" We both spayed tears like sprinklers as everyone was staring at us in confusion, but I couldn't careless.

"Hey, we're gonna be late. Let's not get HIM mad at us again." I heard Akari-chan say before she suddenly grabbed Momochii's hand. "You've always been like this, jeez...Have more confidence in yourself..." Akari said as she pulled Momo along.

"Right. Thanks." I saw Momochii smile as J smiled and caught up as well and the five of us made our way to L/N-sensei's class.

I talked and laughed with my friends as we made fun Kurokiyama-kun and one of his weird dreams he had. It took us five more minutes after we stopped by the girl's restroom, but we made it just in time to sit down before the bells sounded off. As we waited around and made idle chit chat though, I noticed something strange.

"Where is he?" I wondered while staring at the door before feeling someone tap me on the shoulder.

"Hey, Erika." I turned to my right as Takuya looked at me with his head rested on his hand as it was propped up on his desk. "Are you sure you'll be okay? You and him didn't seem to really hit things off with a great stride." He said as I smiled and waved him off.

"It's fine. I know that I'll struggle and cause him some trouble, but I think when he really see's my resolve, he'll respect me and my dreams while I'm here." I said with a reassuring smile as he shrugged me off and we heard the door slide open. "Ah, he's here. Good morning Sen—Ngh!" I cut myself off and began to sweat bullets at the sight I saw, and I'm sure the other kids were doing the same thing.

If you told me a demon was stood at the door of the class, I'd probably believe you, but instead it was L/N-sensei looking extra intimidating. His facial expression was one of extreme irritation as he clenched his teeth and walked in with his hands in his pockets. Just then, without realizing it, I opened my big mouth in an attempt to break the tension.

"G-Good morning, L/N-Sensei..." I muttered as he shot a glare at me and I yelped and began to sweat bullets nervously.

"I don't hear the energy I heard from the girl trying to be my best student. GIVE ME MORE ENERGY WHEN YOU GREET ME!" He demanded from me as I swallowed a gulp of air and slammed my head down on my desk.

"GOOD MORNING, L/N-SENSEI!" I yelled at the top of my lungs with a fiercer tone.

"Good!" He said while walking to his desk as I began to see stars from hitting my head so hard. "I know yesterday was an intimidating day, but to those of you who've made it, you've proven yourselves to be worthy of my time. Don't waste it. Now, let us give each other some proper introductions, and I'll have you all sit in the arrangements that I assign you afterwards." I heard him say as he turned his sights towards the students who were in the second row, since he got rid of the first entirely. "You two girls, introduce yourselves. Starting with the one with black hair." You said as I watched Momochii stand up nervously and gulp down a breath before speaking.

"Hello! My name is Kaguya Momo! I'm 15 years old! It's a pleasure to meet you, sir!" I was in shock of how serious she was responding, but when I got a good look at her face, she was really trying to hold it in and not cry.

"Momochii...!" I thought nervously for her as you spoke up.

"Why did you choose to come to this school?" You asked her as she gulped down another breath.

"Yes! I came to this school to join the prestigious volleyball team that the academy is well-known for! It's also been my dream school ever since I visited during my elementary years!" She answered as you nodded and looked towards Akari.

"Good, take a seat." You said as she sighed in relief and slumped lazily into her seat. "Next." You said as I watched Akari get up and look towards you politely.

"Yes, my name is Shichimiya Akari. I am 15 years old. It's a pleasure to be under your tutelage, L/N-sensei." She bowed her head towards you.

"Why are you here? What does this academy have that you want?" You asked her as she raised her head once more.

"I came here because my mother graduated from this school. From the stories she told me about her experience here, I fell in love with this school and when I heard that my friends were coming here as well, I had even more of a reason to come. I know that by coming here, I'll be that much closer to my dreams." She answered as you nodded in response.

"I see. Moving forward, next." You said as you slowly began to go through the 17 people in the class.

As I watched Sensei stare at his students while they nervously gave their introductions, I noticed something that I don't think anyone else did. As he stared at one of our classmates nervously give their introduction, I noticed him sliding something off his desk and into the trash bin next to his table. I raised my brow wondering what it could have been, but as I was zoning out, Takuya tapped my shoulder and brought me back to my senses.

"Huh? What?" I asked as he nervously pointed towards you and when I turned, I yelped in fear as you looked extremely vexed by me being zoned out.

"You sure love day dreaming, huh, Fujoshi-san?" You asked me with a burning glare as I smacked my head onto the table.

"I'M SO VERY SORRY, SENSEI!" I cried out while bowing as my introduction ended in embarrassment and an earful from you.

After giving our introductions and going over what we would be expecting to learn and do over the first semester, time quickly passed and it was lunch as me and my friends all gathered to the rooftop of the school to eat our bento's. Us girls sat on a bench in front of the fence that wrapped around the edge of the roof while the two boys were sitting on the ground with their legs crossed.

"Itadakimasu~!" We all exclaimed before unraveling our bento's.

"Hey, what happened earlier? You got on trouble again with L/N-sensei." Momochii asked as I got a little embarrassed.

"Don't tell me...You've got the hots for L/N-sensei?" Akari-chan teased me as I choked on the octopus cut sausage that my mom made for me and began to cough while she laughed. "Ahahahahahaha!" She laughed as Momochii patted my back while I grabbed my thermos of water to wash down the food.

"Akari-chan, you know you shouldn't tease someone while they're eating!" Momochii scolded her as Akari clapped her hands together and bowed her head.

"Sorry, sorry. I was just thinking that I wouldn't blame her for getting lost staring at him." Akari said as Takuya and Kurokiyama stared at her with raised brows.

"What do you mean?" Kurokiyama asked as she parted a few strands of hair behind her left ear.

"I mean, he looks like a handsome model that went to work right after high school, and he's got this chilling aura that makes you shiver. He's like a character from a shonen manga that's got a troubled past but slowly opens up to the friends and allies around him. Those types are SUPER hot!" Akari said as she fantasized about you as a shonen protagonist while we all stared at her awkwardly.

"Uwah, she's reading too such manga again..." We all thought as she exhaled hot breaths.

"But, it's not that. Remember when he came in looking scary?" I asked as they all nodded in remembrance. "Well, while Akari-chan was giving her introduction, I saw him slide a paper off his desk and into the trash next to him." I said while eating some rice as Takuya-kun spoke up.

"Did you see what it was?" Takuya asked while eating a rolled omelette.

"No, I was too far to even see what kind of writing could have been on it." I said while chewing on some vegetables before Momochii said something unexpected.

"Then let's go see what it was." She said while picking away at her food as it took us a moment to realize what she said.

"Huh!?" We all said in unison as we were shocked to see Momochii feeling nosy, as she is usually respectful of other people's privacy.

"Momochii wants to get some dirt on L/N-sensei...?" Akari said in fear.

"You want us to go through his trash?" Takuya said in slight discomfort at the thought of rummaging in a trash bin.

"I was just suggesting, it's up to Erikachii what she wants to do about her curiosity." Momochii said as I was caught in between choices, but steeled myself.

"No, it would be rude to L/N-sensei if we went around poking into his life without his consent." I said as I made sure of myself that I would not give in to my temptations what-so-ever.

Five Minutes Later, With You

After finishing your lunch and getting some paper work turned in to another faculty member, you were walking back to your class and stood in front of the door about to slide it open. Just as you were however, there were noises coming from inside of your class as you saw shadows moving behind the window of the door. As you slid the door open, in front of you were the same five trouble makers you made sure to take note of in your class as they all froze when you all made eye contact. Looking down at their feet, you saw Erika Fujoshi's hands rummaging through your trash bin as you stared at her and she was sweating bullets nervously.

"I-It's not what it..." She trailed off nervously as you slid the door shut behind you.

"What do you think you're doing, Fujoshi-san?" You asked while slowly walking towards them as they all stood up straight and you saw Fujoshi hide something behind her back. "What's behind your back?" You asked.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" She tried playing dumb, but you held you stern look towards her as she caved in and brought her hands forward revealing a crumpled paper.

"I was just curious why you were so irritated this morning. I'm sorry for snooping through your stuff." You took the paper from her and unraveled it before holding it in front of her. "Huh?" She looked up in confusion before reading it along with her friends.

"From this day forward, L/N-sensei will have to park at parking spot B12  in the teachers parking lot. This is to accommodate for the renovations being made to the parking lot and allow for more disabled parking." They all read in unison as you crumpled the paper and tossed it back in the trash.

"My car is away being repaired and I come in to find out my spot's been taken. Of course I'll be irritated." You said while walking over and sitting at your desk.

"Huh? It was just a parking notice?" Kaguya-san spoke as they all began to walk away with an anti-climactic feeling.

As they walked away and the rest of your class was entering you tossed the paper back into the bin as class resumed.

"Now, as we progress through the year, we're obviously going to having various events. It's important that we all sta--!"You were suddenly cut off by a knock at the door as you grew an irritated look. "Come in." You said in an irritated tone as your students were all nervous wondering which classmate of theirs made the mistake of arriving late to your class.

As the door slid open and you glanced over to see who it was, your irritated look turned into stern, solemn look as the door opened and revealed not a student, but someone you knew.

"Um, sorry for the intrusion..." A feminine voice spoke as when the guys all turned towards the voice, their jaws slammed on their desks as only one thing caught their attention, a large pair of breast.

"What do you want, Shifuyu-sensei?" You asked while turning in your seat to stare at the woman standing in your door.

Esdeath Shifuyu-sensei, a tall, beautiful, and slender woman with long, light blue hair and blue eyes. She had porcelain white skin color, along with her breasts that were exaggeratedly bigger than Koyanagi-sensei's if you were to compare the two.

"Achoo!" Koyanagi sneezed in her classroom while her students worked on a class assignment.

Esdeath sported black high heels and had long black stockings that covered her alluring legs, her clothing consisted of a grey skirt that ended at her mid-thigh and she wore a white blouse with a grey blazer that had black trimmings on the edge, and her shirt and blazer both seemed to be just barely holding it together as the boys in your class hawed in awe and the girls all scoffed while looking off to the side.

"She makes you look like an amateur, Akari-chan." Momochii whispered to her friend as Akari blushed in embarrassment and glared at Momochii while covering her breast.

"I apologize for interrupting your class, but you forgot something at your desk in the faculty office." She said as she handed you a folder that you recognized.

"Ah, I remember this folder, I left it there so that when I went back to the office I would put it away." You said as Esdeath grew an embarrassed look on her face.

"P-Please forgive me for this mistake!" She bowed her head, but being a little closer than she anticipated, she bonked heads with you. "Ouch!" You both yelped while holding your foreheads.

"She's an airhead!" All of your students thought in unison as you stared up at her and she was beyond bashful.

"Anything else, Shifuyu-sensei?" You asked in a menacing tone as she shuffled around nervously in place.

"U-Umm, actually..." She smiled nervously as you held your stern look. "This weekend, I'm not really busy and..." You continued to hold your solemn glare as she began to nervously sweat. "...I know this r-really nice restaurant that..." She grew as quiet as a mouse as her heart was beating out of her chest and you continued to stare at her with an icy stare.

"This is hard to watch!" All your students thought as they were in shock.

"S-So..." She stuttered over and over before suddenly bolting out the door. "SORRY FOR INTERRUPTING!" She cried while running away.

"She ran for it!" They all thought while jaw-dropped as you sighed and placed the folder in a drawer in your desk.

After that strange encounter, class continued on as the students all got a brief idea of how to prepare and what to expect during their first semester at the academy. After a few more hours passed and the day had reached its afternoon, students began to head off to catch trains home or head out with friends. While heading down to the first floor to get their outdoor shoes, Erika and her group of friends all stopped when they saw Shifuyu-sensei walk pass them down the hall. Erika looked to her female allies and the three of them nodded in unison as they made their way to follow Shifuyu-sensei while the boys were left confused.

"Hey! Where are you three going?" Kurokiyama asked in confusion.

"Restroom." The girls said in unison as they continued to follow Esdeath-sensei, leaving the boys confused on what to do.

"Shifuyu-sensei!" Momochii called to her as the teacher turned around in confusion.

"Can I help you girls?" She asked while holding a folder to her chest.

"Are you a first year teacher also?" Erika asked as she nodded.

"Yes, ever since I started here." Esdeath answered politely.

"Then, you've known L/N-sensei for a long time, right?" Akari asked as Esdeath immediately tensed up and blushed at her statement.

"Y-Yeah, I-I guess you could say that..." Esdeath began to squirm in place as the girls all came to a conclusion as hearts and rainbows exploded in their minds and they smiled stupidly.

"THIS WOMAN IS TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH L/N-SENSEI!!" They all thought in unison as the female teacher squirmed around cutely in place.

"Hey, Shifuyu-chan...!" Akari got very close to her as Esdeath was shocked.

"Huh? 'Chan?" She asked in shock of having a student use that honorific with her.

'What do you find most interesting about L/N-sensei?!" Momochii asked eagerly as Esdeath got even more flustered.

"Wha!?" Esdeath choked from the question.

"Do you think he's cute?!" Erika asked as the girls continued to bombard Esdeath, who at this point had spirals in her eyes and was red like a tomato while steam came off her head from her brain malfunctioning.

As the girls continued their girls assault however, they didn't notice the shadow that was overcasting them and a hand suddenly found its way on top of Erika's head as she had a clueless and confused face.

"Huh?" Erika asked before she suddenly felt herself get lifted off the ground and turned around. "Hya!" She yelped like a puppy and began to sweat bullets as she came face to face with you and your intimidating glare.

"What are you doing holding up a teacher, Fujoshi-kun?" You asked as Erika could only stutter stupidly while sweating in full auto.

Just then, a hand suddenly grabbed onto the shoulder of Esdeath as she yelped and began to grow into a cold sweat once she heard another voice speak.

"What are you doing side chatting with students when there's a faculty meeting, Shifuyu-san?" Esdeath began to cry and weep as a scary Koyanagi appeared behind her with an intimidating aura like your own.

"S-SUMIMASEN!!!" Erika and her friends apologized and bowed to you.

"PLEASE FORGIVE ME, SENPAI!!" Esdeath begged as she was on her knees to Koyanagi.

After pardoning your students and letting them go, you walked over and handed Esdeath a folder while stopping in front of her as she hung her head.

"T-Thank you for coming to get me, but its fine if you started without me, it's my fault for being late after all..." She said with a sad smile as she felt like a burden, but had a perplexed look when she felt you lightly chop her on top the head.

"Idiot...You're just as important to have at the meeting. Don't keep us waiting again, understand?" You said as she smiled feeling relieved and a little better.

"Yes, understood..." She said as you walked off and the other two followed behind you while the girls watched with jaws dropped.

"Right now..." Akari muttered.

"...Did L/N-sensei just..." Momochii stuttered.

"...Comfort Shifuyu-chan...?" Erika said as you turned towards them from all the way at the other end of the hall and glared at them.

"Go home already, brats." You said as your message seemed to have reached them as they felt a shiver run down their spines and they tucked tails and ran away.

"GOMENASAI!!!!!!" They all cried while running away to leave as Esdeath was perplexed by their actions before giggling in amusement.

"Those girls seem to be really interested in L/N-san." Esdeath thought as she glanced at you while you returned to a clam look on your face. "And it seems that they're taking affect on him as well..." She thought as she smiled. "...Good." She said as an image flashed in her mind of a time when you looked younger and had a wide smile plastered on your face while laughing. "Maybe we can see him come back to us like that....maybe we can see his real smile again..." She thought with hope as she walked closely beside you, and a movement in her heart began to slowly grow stronger.
