''Yes! We're finally finished!!'' Star exclaimed, running around the room. She was jumping up and down. She was also dancing everywhere.

You got up and began dancing with Star, making up weird dance moves in the process as Marco couldn't stop laughing. ''Come on, Marco! Join us!'' You said, pulling Marco to his feet.

He smiled at you as you grinned back and you began to dance side by side. ''You two are weird.'' He said while laughing.

''I think you mean awesome.'' You said, smirking in the process.

''Yeah, sure...'' Marco rolled his eyes but still kept smiling.

Suddenly, an idea popped into your head. ''Hey, wanna get a smoothie? Might as well celebrate after finishing... this thing.'' You said, pointing at the work you accomplished.

''It's called work, (Y/N).'' Marco said, correcting you.

''Shush, child! I don't like to be reminded of work when i just finished a bunch of it!'' You replied. ''Work is over! Now it's time for smoothies!'' You exclaimed, running out the door.

Star and Marco followed you outside. ''Get on the bike!'' Star demanded.

You and Marco got on as you wrapped your arms around his chest. You could tell that he was blushing immensely, as were you. ''Aw! Come on, you two lovebirds! We gotta go!'' Star spoke up, causing the two of you to blush even more, if that was was even physically possible.

When the three of you finally arrived, thanks to Star's Bunny Rabbit Boost; don't ask, you sat down at a table outside.

''I'm gonna get a rainbow smoothie!'' Star exclaimed.

''I don't think that they have one here, Star.'' You told her, crushing her dreams of drinking a rainbow smoothie.

She pouted. ''Aw, boo.'' She said. ''Strawberry?'' She asked again hopefully.

''Yeah, i'm sure that they have that.'' Marco said.

The three of you were talking when a girl appeared skateboarding down the street. She paused when she noticed the three of you. ''Hey Marco, hey Star, hey (Y/N).'' She said as a streak of aqua colored hair fell in front of her eyes.

''H-Hey J-Jackie! Um, how are y-you doing?'' Marco stuttered. You looked at him suspiciously. Something was going on and you didn't like it one bit.

''I'm doing cool, i guess. Hey, wanna hang out later? Like, on a date? Just the two of us?'' She asked Marco.

Tears prickled your eyes as he responded. ''Yeah! Sure! Totally! See you then!'' He said while grinning and blushing immensely.

''I... um... have to go.'' You mumbled to Star. ''Bye. See you tomorrow.'' You said, managing to give her a weak smile.

''A-Ah... But the smoothies aren't even done yet!'' Star called out but you ignored it.

You left without Marco noticing.

'Love is stupid.' You thought to yourself. 'But then again, why would Marco ever like a girl like me?'
