The next day, you met up with Marco and Star outside of Echo Creek Academy. ''Hey, Marco! Hey, Star!'' You greeted them while smiling.

Star looked between you and Marco, a grin spreading across her face. ''Did you two make up?''

Marco nodded his head while you just kept smiling. ''About time!'' Star said, hugging you both. ''Come on, let's go!'' Star grabbed your hand and dragged you towards your class as Marco trailed behind you both.

When the three of you got to class, you sat down side by side. Suddenly, Miss Skullnick walked through the door. ''Principal Skeeves said i need to give you a group project. Something about improving 'social skills' because people these days are becoming so lousy about interacting with people.'' She said. It was so obvious that she was against it, judging from her pissed off face and her slightly angry tone. ''Anyway,'' She continued, ''Go ahead and make groups of three i guess.''

''Marco!'' You heard a voice pipe up behind Marco. The three of you turned around to see a girl with shoulder-length platinum blonde hair with an aqua streak to the left side of her hair. She had mint green eyes with freckles on her cheeks. Green and white raglan shirt, a golden shell necklace hung on her neck, cyan jean shorts, green and white knee socks and white sneakers.

''Let's form a group with Star. You must be missing one, right?'' The girl smiled as she placed both of her hands on her hips. Marco began blushing at this girl's appearance and something tugged on your chest. You decided to ignore it because you thought that it was unnecessary to feel something like this. ''W-Well..'' Before Marco can even say anything, Star piped in and held both of your shoulders behind you and pushed you in front of the girl.

''We found one! I'm sorry about that Jackie...'' Star sadly smiled at the girl named Jackie. She looked at you for a moment but then smiled, scratching the back of her head with a smile on her lips. ''Nah, it's alright. I was thinking about joining Justin's group anyway. Well, if it's not yet full...'' She chuckled. Something didn't really feel right about this girl in your opinion. ''Well, i better find some groups! See you later Marco and Star!'' 

You turned to look at Marco and he looked pretty disappointed. There it is again; the feeling of something tugging your chest hard. What is this feeling? 

When Miss Skullnick gave you your topic, you began to work immediately. ''(Y/N)? Would you like to come over today so that we can work on our project?'' Marco asked, looking at you. ''Yeah! With the three of us, it'll be fun!!'' Star piped in with her usual cheerful voice.

''Sure!'' You said. He smiled at you as you returned it.

When school was over, you walked over to Marco's house. It seems that they already went home ahead. You knocked on the door, but no one seemed to answer it. ''Marco? Star?'' You asked. You turned the door knob. It was open, but where was everyone? You wondered.

You walked around for a bit, calling both Star and Marco until you heard a voice come from outside. ''Mega Narwhal Blast!!!''

You headed outside where you saw Star and Marco battling... monsters?

''You will surrender, Star Butterfly!'' An extremely short bird-like monster said.

''Not a chance, Ludo.'' Marco said. Then he turned around and beat up another monster.

''What the hell is going on?'' You asked outloud to yourself. Soft enough for you to hear. Apparently, Star also heard you because she looked towards your direction.

''(Y/N)?! You need to get out of here!'' She exclaimed as she blasted another monster with that wand of hers.

Marco turned towards you. You were still very confused about the situation but somehow, his gaze told you that you weren't supposed to be here. ''(Y/N)! Watch out!'' He yelled. You turned around only to find yourself up against a different monster.

He grabbed you from behind you. ''Let me go, you stupid little son of a b-'' You began but his hand covered your mouth. Anger began to bubble up inside of you as you began to bit his hand hard.

''Ow!'' He said, taking his hand away while his other hand was holding you. It was slightly red but he deserved it.

''Let me go!'' You tried kicking him but his grip was still as firm as steel. You were struggling to be free from this weird monster.

''So, Star Butterfly, is this a friend of yours?'' The bird monster, who you assumed is Ludo, asked with his yellow eyes gleaming malevolently.

Star gasped as she saw you in the monster's grip. ''(Y/N)!'' Her gaze turned angry as she stared at Ludo. ''Let her go, Ludo! She has nothing to do with this!'' Star angrily stomped her way towards Ludo.

Marco was fighting another monster and glanced at you in shock. ''(Y/N)!'' The monster was on top of him though and there was nothing he could do. You tried kicking the monster again but nothing happened.

''Let's go, Emmit. Everyone to the portal and try to keep that girl still, will you?'' Ludo said, turning towards the monster holding you.

You tried breaking free but you knew it was hopeless. A portal opened up behind you and you began squirming, trying to get rid of Emmit's grip. You turned towards Marco with fear in your eyes. ''Marco!'' You called out towards him.

He turned towards you, trying to get the monster off of him. ''Just let her go, Ludo!''

Ludo smirked devilishly. ''Oh, i will. On one condition: You will need to deliver the wand at my castle if you ever want to see your little friend again.''

Your eyes widened. You began struggling again. ''Marco! Star!'' You yelled but then everything went pitch black.
