You cautiously entered the classroom, playing with the bracelet around your wrist. You usually do it when you're nervous and today was no different. Star ran up to the teacher and whispered something in her ear. She was jumping up and down excitedly and you noticed that the teacher looked a bit like, an ogre? 

'It's probably my imagination' You thought.

Star came over to you and dragged you inside the classroom, since you were standing by the door, hoping to not be seen.

''Hey guys!!! This is (Y/N) Birnbaum! (Y/N), say hi!!!'' She said.

You mumbled a hello while your cheeks turned red and you looked down. Unlike your snobby brother, you didn't like receiving a lot of attention. You did notice a boy wearing a red sweatshirt and jeans. He had tan skin, brown hair, and a little mole just below his right eye. He seemed to be studying you. You looked at him and he turned away.

''Anyway! (Y/N)'s gonna join us today!! Isn't that cool?!'' Star announced, jumping up and down. You chuckled, Star was weird, but awesome at the same time. ''And,'' Star whispered to you. ''You get to sit next to me!'' 

She smiled as you returned it shyly. ''It's fine, Star. I-I can stand.''

''No way! It's your first day at Echo Creek Academy! I will not allow you to stand!'' She replied, sounding like a mother. She began to push me towards my new seat. She plopped me down and sat right next to me. I then caught a peek of the boy who had been staring at me earlier. He was doing it again. Your cheeks turned a light shade of pink as you hid your face, not wanting to be seen.

''(Y/N)! (Y/N)! (Y/N)!'' Someone whisper yelled. You looked over and saw Star. ''Is something wrong?''

You shook your head. ''I'm fine,'' You replied with a confident smile. But it was more for you than for her. You then sat up and paid attention for the rest of class.

The bell rang and you stood up straight. A grin broke across your face. You exited the classroom and checked the time. It was 12:05 PM, meaning that it's lunch time. Lunch equals Food, and Food equals Satisfaction! You began to head over the cafeteria until you heard Star calling your name. ''(Y/N)! I want you to meet someone!'' 

You turned around and saw that you were face to face with the boy had been staring at you earlier. Star came up next to him, ''This is Marco Diaz! My bestie! You know, the one i told you about earlier?'' She said, smiling.

Marco groaned, ''Star, don't call me that! You sound just like my parents!'' He said while shuddering.

Instead, Star replied with a whine, ''But your parents are cool!''

He gave her a confused look, ''Cool. Cool?'' He said, processing that information as if it were the most complicated thing ever. ''Anyway, changing the subject, I'm Marco Diaz.'' He said, extending his hand towards mine.

''Otherwise known as Safe Kid.'' Star whispered loudly to my ear, in which Marco heard pretty well. He immediately began to blush deep red and responded, ''That's not true! I'm a misunderstood bad boy! No one calls me that!''

Star chuckled, ''Sure, Wild Guy.''

He mumbled something and then spoke up again, ''Star, we gotta go meet with Ferguson and Alfonzo remember? Uh...'' He shifted his gaze towards you with a curious face that's clearly showing 'What's your name again?' look. 

''(Y/N). (Y/N) Birnbaum.'' As soon as Marco heard your name, his mind went somewhere else. 

'Birnbaum? I think i heard that name somewhere... Where though?' Marco thought hard but he was eventually brought back to reality by Star poking his shoulder. 

''Earth to Marco Diaz? Hello? Is Safe Kid there?'' Star asked, knocking on Marco's head.

''Yes i'm here and stop calling me that!'' He began blushing once again. ''So, (Y/N). As i said before, we're going to meet some friends named Ferguson and Alfonzo. Do you want to come?''

''Sure! I'd like that!'' You responded with a smile.
