''I believe that (Y/N) would be very happy at Echo Creek Academy, Mrs. Birnbaum.'' Principal Skeeves told your mother.

''Why i would hope so,'' She replied. ''I expect someone will show her around the place?'' She added.

''Of course! In fact, i know the perfect person,'' He turned towards you. ''She's only been here for a couple of months, but she is very nice.''

''Good. Alright then, sweetie! Goodbye! Be careful! Mommy loves you!'' Your cheeks turned into a light shade of pink.

The Principal gave you a warm smile and his voice rang throughout the halls. ''Star Butterfly to the Principal's Office now, please.'' He ordered.

In less than a couple of seconds, a blonde girl burst through the door. She held out what seemed like, a wand? She looked around the room and her light blue eyes caught your (E/C) ones. She smiled brightly as you noticed the small hearts on her cheeks. She brushed her bangs out of her eyes and introduced herself energetically. ''Hi!!! Are you new?! What's your name?! I'm Star! Star Butterfly!'' She said.

''Um, I'm (Y/N). (Y/N) Birnbaum,'' You replied. ''And yes, I'm new.''

She grinned and began jumping up and down. ''Oh! Principal Skeeves? Do i get to show her around? Can i?! Pretty please!!!'' She begged.

''That's basically the reason why i called you here, Star.'' The Principal nodded and led us out of the office. Star turned towards you, ''You're going to attend Echo Creek Academy, huh? It's awesome here! Oh!! You could be my first best friend that is a girl on this dimension!'' She squealed.

On this dimension? What did she mean by that? She must have noticed your confusion because she began to explain herself. ''Well, see, I'm a magical princess from another dimension called Mewni! My parents sent me here because... a couple of reasons. So i'm here now!!'' She smiled and told you.

You weren't sure if she was telling the truth. ''Look! I'll show you!'' She twirled around and created a rainbow with her wand. ''Ta da!!'' She sang, obviously proud of her accomplishment.

You stood there in awe for a moment, when the rainbow suddenly caught on fire. ''S-Star?'' You said, pointing at the fire.

She turned around and groaned. ''Aw! I thought i had it right this time!'' She whined and pouted.

She put out the fire then turned to you. ''On to the tour, right?'' She said as you both headed off for the tour.

''And this thing is called a Water Fountain! It's a magical device that sprays out water when you press this button so you can drink it! Isn't that cool?!'' She said, pushing the button repetitively as water keeps spraying out from the fountain.

You rolled your eyes then smiled. Star was pretty nice and fun once you get to know her. Then she said, ''Well, that's the end of our tour! Do you want to see our classroom? You could meet your new classmates!'' She persuaded.

You stiffened. ''Um, n-now? I-I mean, what if they don't like me or-'' You began trying to list all the things that could possibly go wrong.

''Oh come on, it'll be fine! You can sit next to me and Marco!'' 

''Marco? Who's... Marco?'' You asked. You had no idea who he was.

Then she began to smile, ''Marco is my super duper best friend in the whole universe! We fight monsters, travel to different dimensions and best of all, he knows KA-RA-TEY!'' She said, trying to imitate some karate moves, but not making a very good impression.

''Okay then, i guess..'' You said.

She gave you a reassuring hug and said, ''It'll be fine! I promise!''

Then you both headed towards the classroom. Oh boy.
