Chapter 6: The Results are In

Two days after Trisha and her friends auditioned, they were all at the house they shared, chilling in their rooms after dinner. Carly and Ilia had finished washing the dishes, since it was their turn, and Chico took out the garbage, the others having gone up to their rooms, Ros, Mary, and Chico staying in the living room to watch some movies together. Trisha was up in her room watching some TV, watching a crime and detective show. Trisha had always been interested in criminology and detective work as a kid, but never got to learn the skills, as the school she had gone to thought the subjects were pointless. Also, this was a school that thought women should work in the home, and only work outside the home in an office or whatnot, which is why the school staff considered her a "rebel" when she went there. She didn't want to go to the school in the first place, but since she had to live in an orphanage when her father died in the army, she had to go to whatever school they deemed fit for her and the other kids.

While she was watching her show, her phone rang, showing that Marionette was calling her, since it was the theater's number. She then paused her show and answered her phone, laying down on her bed as she said, "Hello?" "Trisha, the owner went over the auditions this morning." Marionette answered, causing Trisha to pay close attention. "You all got in!" he said, causing Trisha to smile and bolt up in bed. "Really?!" Trisha asked, really happy that her and her friends now all had a job. "T-That's great! When do we start?" "You all start next week, which will be training and practicing at first." Marionette replied, Trisha writing what he was saying down on a piece of paper. "After one or two weeks of that, the owner will arrange for you all to perform at the theater. However, he wants you all to come up with ideas for your acts."

Trisha smiled as she jotted what he said down, answering him after she was done writing. "Thank you so much, Marionette!" Trisha exclaimed slightly, putting her phone on speaker as she got dressed to go to the theater. "We'll come up with some ideas at some point, Carly will probably have some idea." Marionette nodded over the phone, writing some things down on his clipboard regarding business. "Also, if you don't mind, please bring some of your friends with you once you come to work. I would like to speak to them as well. "

Trisha put her boots and jacket on as Marionette spoke, turning off her light and putting her phone off speaker as she went down the stairs to the living room. "Alright, I'll do that." she said, causing Carly to look over at her, putting up the dishes she washed. "I'll see you when I get to work." Trisha then hung up the phone, excitingly telling Carly that they all were hired, making everyone in the living room and kitchen go ecstatic, except for Ilia, who only simply nodded. After a bit of celebrating, Trisha, Carly, Ilia, and Ros went out to the car, leaving Mary and Chico at the house to continue watching movies. Carly started up the car as the others got in, and they all left for the theater.

Once there, the four got out of the car and entered the theater, Marionette waiting for them in the stage room. He smiled under his mask as he saw them walk in, shaking their hands as they walked up to him. "Welcome back, children, let's go to my office to talk about a few things." he said, the others nodding in agreement. As they walked to his office, Toy Bonnie stopped Trisha, his usual smirk on his face, causing Trisha's own smile to fade to an annoyed look. "Want to tell me why you didn't bring the vixen with you?" he asked in a suave yet cocky tone, Trisha glaring up at him as Carly stopped to stand beside her, answering for Trisha so a fight wouldn't start. "If you mean Betty, she went to go get a........checkup, and Fauna went with her. It's a yearly thing she has to do.

Toy Bonnie frowned at the answer he got, wanting to annoy Trisha even more, not this other woman. He groaned slightly and brushed past them, turning into a hallway that branched to the east side of the theater, him being the one looking annoyed as Trisha smirked. "Nice not to see that smirk on his face." Trisha chuckled, Carly nudging her slightly as she smiled, the two walking towards the office. Once they got to the office, it was pretty old-fashioned, looking almost like a study you would see in a Victorian home. Once the two sat down next to the others, Ilia deciding to lean against one of the walls, Marionette started the conversation.

"Before you all get set to perform here, there's a few things I would like to go over with you." Marionette began, getting attention of the others in the room. "First office, I will need you all to fill out these as we talk." He then pushed over a few papers that had been sitting in front of him towards them, each one grabbing one for themselves, Marionette giving Ilia a clipboard to bare down on as she wrote. The papers turned out to be personal information forms, the others having to list their name, address, previous occupation, age, etc. As they started filling the forms out, Marionette continued what he was saying. "Next, I would like to tell you about your salaries." he began, clearing his throat a bit at the end of his sentence.

"Each of you, including your other friends, will be getting paid $26 an hour, and $1,038 a week. You will also get medical, dental, prescription drug, and vision coverage, as well as Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance. However, the theater and Fazbear Entertainment will not be responsible for any damages or injuries you cause to yourself, or if you damage any of the equipment, props, and costumes. If this ever happens, the theater will take it out of your salary. Also, you are allowed two weeks worth of sick days, and also two weeks worth of vacation days. You must also get yourselves to and hear from work, and be here on time for performances, rehearsals, and/or pre-performance prep."

Trisha raised an eyebrow at some of the things Marionette said, though didn't show it as she filled out the form she was given. What if the one of the props or equipment fell on her or one of her friends? Would the company and theater still say it wasn't their fault? She had seen on the internet on multiple sites that Fazbear Entertainment was a shady company, but would they be so incompetent and irresponsible as to say it was their fault for getting hurt, even if it was clearly the company's or theater's fault? Trisha shrugged it off for the time being, looking up at Marionette when he said her name. "Trisha, the owner would also like it if you would still work as the security guard during the night shift for the time being, at least until we can find someone to replace you." he said, Trisha nodding in agreement.

"I don't mind still taking on the night shift, as long I can get a nap in at some point in time." Trisha replied, Marionette chuckling as he nodded. "Well, the performances and rehearsals usually start at 8 p.m, and end at 11 p.m, so you'll be able to sleep before then." Marionette said, taking up their forms once they finished filling them out, Ilia bringing her's over. Once he scanned over the forms, making sure they filled out everything, he pulled out a few more, handing them to Carly. "Give these to your other four friends, as they'll need to fill theirs out as well." Carly nodded, smiling as she laid them on her lap, Ros raising his hand to ask something, Marionette looking over at him to hear him out.

"What if one of us gets sick after a performance, such as we vomit or feel extremely dizzy?" Ros said, crossing his arms as he looked at Marionette. "Will we able to go home if that happens?" Marionette nodded in reply, putting the pens they had used in his pen holder, and the clipboard Ilia had used in a drawer. "Yes, but the theater would appreciate it if you would stay if it's something minor, such as a slight stomach ache or headache." Marionette answered. "You are allowed to be any medicine here if these issues occur before work, or you can keep them here in your lockers, which every actor and actress here has. You'll all get yours once the others are present, or during our first rehearsal."

Ros nodded, smiling slightly as he was satisfied with the answer, Marionette looking around at the others. "Are there any other questions?" he asked, the four shaking their heads. Marionette then stood up from his seat, Trisha, Carly, and Ros standing up in return. "Well, if one of you could come by here tomorrow on your way to pick up Trisha to work, and return the forms to me, that would be splendid." he said, Carly nodding in return. "I'll be sure that the others fill them out." she said. Marionette nodded, then dismissed them to go home, the four exiting the office, making their way to the entrance. While Trisha walked down the long hallway, she bumped into someone that had turned the corner from the east hallway, looking up to see Foxy with a surprise look on his face.

"S-Sorry, lass, didn't see ye there." he apologized, Trisha smiling up at him as she shook her hair. "It's fine, happens to me a lot." Trisha replied, causing Foxy to smile slightly, but he frowned when Freddy passed by, the two glancing at each other for a second before Freddy went on his way. Trisha's smile turned into a confused expression, looking up at Foxy as she spoke. "You two not like each other or something?" she asked, glancing at Freddy before looking back up at him, Foxy rubbing the back of his neck with his metallic hand as he answered. "Something like that, lass......it be a long story." Foxy replied, Trisha nodding as she understood. "Yeah, I have a few things I don't talk about either." she said, causing Foxy to crack a smile at her, about to say something else when Ros walked over.

"Hey, Trish, you coming?" he asked, his hands in his jacket pockets. "Yeah, I'm coming." Trisha answered, smiling up at Foxy as she walked down the hall. "Talk to you later, Foxy." Foxy nodded, walking in the opposite direction, going to who knows where. After getting her stuff from the car, and saying her goodbyes to the other three, went back into the theater. After she got to the office, she put down her bag, sitting it under the desk. She then got out her security guard hat out that Marionette gave her when she walked back into the theater, her uniform going to be coming in in a few days. She then sat back in the office chair, propping her feet up on the desk, and starting up the tablet.

As soon as she started up the tablet, she came face to face with light green eyes, making her yelp and jump slightly, which echoed slightly through the hallways. She then heard someone laugh down the hallway, seeing Toy Bonnie laughing hysterically in the cameras view. Turns out he peered in the camera to scare her, and it kinda work. Trisha growled slightly, flipping the cameras to the stage room, tilting her hat down to hide her rage, mumbling to herself as she did so. "I hate that asshole....." she mumbled, readying herself for another night.

That aside, I have a few questions for you. These questions are to see how the progression of the book is going from your perspective, how good (or bad) these characters are developing, and how much more I have to.......hide......certain from you guys until the story gets to that bit. I hope you guys will answer these questions, as they help me get ideas for the book, and also help the book get better. Until the next update, bye!!! ^^)
