Chapter 3: "The Audition" (Part 1)
Trisha was dropped off at the theater at 11:40 p.m by her friends, who had to run a quick errand before the audition. Trisha dressed in her normal clothes instead of her uniform that night, since she had forgotten to wash it. She wore a dark blue T-shirt, black leather jacket that went down to her midstomach, black jeans, and black leather boots that went over her jeans. Trisha still brought her pistol with her, just in case any of the animatronics tried anything funny. Trisha look towards the theater, and saw Marionette at its front doors. He waved to her slightly, and motioned for her to come in.
Once in the theater, Marionette started talking to Trisha. "I thought you and your friends would be auditioning tonight?" Marionette asked, had seeing the car Trisha arrived in drive away. "They had to run an errand real quick." Trisha explained, heading towards the stage room with Marionette. "They'll be back before twelve, promise." "Alright, I was just wondering." Marionette said, him and Trisha entering auditorium. Once in there, Marionette sat Trisha in one of the front row seats.
"Before the audition begins, I would like to introduce you to my children." Marionette said, his hands still behind his back. "Children, come here! I would like you all to meet one of the people that is auditioning." Trisha then heard footsteps approaching them, talking being audible from the high ceilings of the theater. The first one to walk in was Toy Bonnie, to Trisha's annoyance. When Toy Bonnie saw Trisha, a smirk appeared on his face, and he walked over to her.
"Well well, look who's back for another night, and auditioning to boot." he snickered, Trisha glaring up at him with irritation. Toy Bonnie then made a knife appear in his hand, and drew it across her bottom chin, though not cutting her. "Let's see how long you last here." he said, looking in Trisha's dark blue eyes with mischief. "Toy Bonnie, please don't treat our guest like that." Marionette said politely, looking over at the blue-haired man. "Yes, sir." Toy Bonnie mumbled, making the knife disappear, and walked off to sit in a seat. Trisha just glared after him, knowing that she REALLY wasn't going to like him.
A small group of animatronics came in, chatting and laughing with each other. Trisha recognized one of them being the woman that dragged Toy Bonnie away last night. She was conversing with a very tall and chubby man, a cheerful smile on his face that, for some reason, made Trisha feel uncomfortable. The other was a very tall woman with metallic arms attached to her back, and had a affectionate smile on her face. Mangle, the tall woman talking to the two, was the first to notice Trisha. Her stare of awe made Trisha a bit uncomfortable, looking away from the woman. A few seconds later, Trisha felt a hand run through her hair gently, causing her to flinch slightly.
She then looked up to see Mangle touching her hair, softly smiling at her, and looking into her eyes. "You have very beautiful hair, miss." Mangle said softly. "And beautiful eyes too." "Uh....thanks, I guess?" Trisha stammered, not used to the contact. "I told you she was!" Toy Chica said, walking over to the two, and smiling. "That's why I didn't let 2Bonnie kill her."
By 2Bonnie, Trisha knew that she meant Toy Bonnie. She guessed that it's what they call him and the other toy animatronics besides their real name. The tall man that was talking to them then came over, his smile never fading, making Trisha go pale. He then took her hand in his, and shook it in greeting, making Trisha paler. "It's nice to meet you!" he said cheerfully. "Y-Yeah, y-you too." Trisha stuttered nervously, not knowing why this animatronic scared her a bit.
The three then went off to sit in some seats together, which wasn't far from where Toy Bonnie was sitting. "Pretty unnervin, isn't he lass?" a familiar voice said from beside Trisha. She then looked over to face the animatronic she had met last night, now knowing his name was Foxy from her research. Foxy then held out his prosthetic hand for Trisha to shake, in which she did calmly. "Me name's Foxy, what's yours lass?" he said, letting go of Trisha's hand. "My name's Trisha." Trisha replied, and soft smile on her face.
Trisha then heard someone else come into the auditorium, causing her head to turn in their direction. Freddy and Bonnie entered the auditorium, having something similar to a poker face on. Foxy then suddenly got up when he saw Freddy, going up to the top row of seats in the bottom sitting area. Trisha wondered why he did so, but told herself that he had his reasons. Maybe Foxy didnt like the other two, as he didnt like Toy Bonnie. Trisha then noticed Marionette talking to the two, as if explaining what was going on.
The three then walked over to Trisha, frowns on Bonnie and Freddy's faces. "Trisha, this is Freddy and Bonnie, two of my other children." Marionette said. "Boys, this is Trisha." Trisha had to look up a good bit to see Freddy, him being very tall. "Now be gentlemen, and greet her properly." With that, and a inaudible mumble from Freddy, Freddy extended his hand for Trisha to shake. Trisha still it once, and let his hand go, knowing that Freddy didn't really want to shake hands neither.
Trisha then looked up at Bonnie, and let out a monotonous, "Hey." Bonnie just nodded in response, walking off to sit in a seat far away from the others. Freddy went off to sit in one of the upper seats. Marionette then went over to Freddy before he got too far, asking him something Trisha couldn't make out. Trisha then saw two more animatronics enter the auditorium, which Trisha knew were the last ones. Chica and Mike walked into the auditorium, Mike looking like they didn't want to be in there.
"I brought him with me, like you asked." Chica called over to Marionette, catching the masked animatronic's attention. "Ah! There you two are!" Marionette said, walking over to the two. "I was just asking Freddy where you both were." Marionette then motioned Trisha to come over to them, which she did. Trisha thought that she might as well get used to the animatronics there and meet them, since she'd most likely be performing with them before long, along with her friends. Trisha had to look down at Chica to face her, since Trisha was taller than she was.
"Trisha, this is Chica and her child, Mike." Marionette said, almost ignoring Mike. "Chica, Mike, this is Trisha, one of the people who are auditioning." Chica smirked up at Trisha, mostly paying attention to her skin. "You look good enough to eat." Chica said, causing a slight shiver to go down Trisha's spine. "Does she want to eat me, or is she flirting with me?!" Trisha asked herself, leaning towards the first guess. Trisha just brushed it off, and turned her attention to Mike.
He looked a bit sickly, and looked like he hadn't slept well in a while, judging by the dark places under his eyes. Chica then went over to sit down near Foxy, Mike going off to sit in a seat far away from the other animatronics. Mike seemed different from the other animatronics, in Trisha's opinion. "He seems more human." Trisha thought to herself, going back to sit in her seat. However, before she could, and heard familiar voices from the entrance of the theater. Hearing them, Trisha ran down towards the voices, spotting her friends coming in through the double doors.
"This place is huge!" Chico exclaimed, looking around the lobby of the theater. "What did you want it to be? Small?" Ros asked sarcastically, chuckling along with it. "Alrighty then, smart was." Chico laughed, looking at his older cousin. "Bout time you guys got here." Trisha chuckled, catching her friends' attention. "Hey, everything ready to go?" Carly asked, referring to the audition. "Yep, all you guys have to do is get your butts in the auditorium." Trisha said, smirking slightly.
"Yeah, I got a fine one, dont I?" Betty joked, referring to her butt. "No, but you're one." Trisha replied, walking towards the auditorium again. Betty smirked at Trisha, walking close behind her, along with the others. Once they got into the auditorium, Chico gasped in amazement. "This auditorium is even bigger than our high school's!" he exclaimed, referring to the high school he graduated from earlier that year. "No shit, Sherlock!" Ros and Betty said, laughing a bit after they said it at the same time.
Marionette then walked over to the group, making one of them flinch in the back at Marionette's height. "Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Theater, children." Marionette greeted, letting Trisha go on ahead of him to sit again. "Before we begin the audition, I want you to come up to the stage one at a time, and introduce yourselves. After a person introduces themselves, they may audition. Do I need to repeat anything?" "Nope, we got it." Carly said, answering for her and her friends.
Marionette then led them to the front row seats of the audience section of the auditorium, and had then sit down. "Before we get started, I need to get a few things from my office." Marionette said, starting to walk off. "While I'm gone, you can talk to my children." After Marionette was out of sight, the group of friends stood up from their chairs, along with some of the animatronics. Toy Chica and the other toy animatronics were the first to come down towards the group. "I didn't know there would be so many of you!" Toy Chica said, looking over the group.
"Well, we all like to perform." Chico laughed. "Well, almost all of us." "Well, I'm Toy Chica, but you can call me 2Chica." Toy Chica said, giggling slightly. "These three are 2Freddy,2Bonnie, and Mangle." Toy Chica then noticed someone hiding behind Ros, shyly glancing over at her. "And what's your name?" Toy Chica asked, walking over to the small girl, who flinched when she noticed her.
She was one inch smaller than Toy Chica, and had white hair, purple eyes, and pale skin. She shyly looked up at Toy Chica and the two other toy animatronics behind her, looking down at her. "M-My name's Mary." the girl said, almost whispering. "How old are you?" Toy Chica asked, trying to get the girl comfortable around her. "I'm nineteen." Mary answered, causing Toy Chica to wear a shocked expression. Mary dreased childlike, and looked very young, for someone who was nineteen.
Ros then let Mary sit in one of the seats beside him, letting her rest her feet. "She has some mental issues." Ros said, causing Toy Chica look up at him. "Oh! Sorry, I was just a bit confused." Toy Chica said, noticing Mangle looking at Mary. Toy Freddy was a few feet away, talking to a young woman. She has light brown hair, light blue eyes, and was at least 5ft tall.
"What's your name?" Toy Freddy asked, his voice deep, but cheerful. "My name's Fauna. What's yours?" the woman answered, looking up at the tall, chubby man. His cheerful smile never fading. "I'm Toy Freddy, but you can call me 2Freddy." he replied. "You're really pretty!" "Thank you." Fauna said shyly, blushing a light pink.
Toy Chica wore a worried expression when she saw how Toy Freddy was around Fauna. She hoped that Toy Freddy wouldn't get too attached to her, knowing what would probably happen if he did. Toy Chica was about to talk to the man that was in front of her, but saw that he had gone over to talk with Mangle and Mary, who Mangle had taken a real liking to. Toy Chica then walked over to the three, joining in their conversation. Not long after, Chico joined in with them, causing much laughter to sound from the large group. They became friends very quickly, as people could plainly see.
Meanwhile, Toy Bonnie had set his sights on Betty, who he thought was pretty attractive. He decided to flirt with her, though he didnt actually didn't know why he wanted to. He sat down in the seat next to, propping his head on his hand. "Hey, what's your name?" he asked flirtatiously, smirking at Betty. "Betty, what's yours?" Betty asked, crossing one leg over the other, and smirking back at Toy Bonnie. "Toy Bonnie, but you can call me 2Bonnie, beautiful."
Betty seemed unphased by the compliment, causing confusion inside of Toy Bonnie. "Well, it's nice to meet someone who fits my interests." Betty chuckled. "What interests are those?" Toy Bonnie asked. "People who are like me." Betty answered, causing Toy Bonnie's smirk to grow wider. "That's exactly my interests." he chuckled, starting to like this woman. "Well then, I think we'll get along well, 2Bonnie." Betty said, her smirk growing wider as well.
As the two conversed two people watched them a bit from afar. One was Bonnie, who was dreading that Betty was a lot like the blue bastard. If she got hired as a performer at the theater, he would have to deal with both of them. However, Bonnie didn't noticed the young woman also dreading the thought of having to deal with Betty and Toy Bonnie both, trying to ignore the two by listening to her music. They both dreaded the same thing, along with Mike, Freddy, Foxy, and Trisha. There was so much going on at the theater at the moment, and the audition hadn't even started yet!
Am I doing a good job at portraying Birdapocalypse's versions of the animatronics. If anyone could give me any pointers or hints as to how I could better portray their personalities, please tell me. It would help make this story better. Also, there will be one or two more parts to the story during the audition, so stay tuned for those. I'll try to make those chapters shorter than this one as well.
The FNAF AU and its version of the animatronics belong to Birdapocalypse.
FNAF belongs to Scott Cawthon.
Trisha and her friends belong to me.
(This story has 2,418 words in it, including the highlighted ones! Good Lord! XD)
