Willow tapped her foot a little, anxiously. Why was Althia taking so long to answer the door? Didn't she know Willow was back from the dead and needed to see her girlfriend?
the second the door opened, Willow tore through the foyer, and up the stairs to Dixie's room. God, the crying and hugging they were going to do after Rachel finished yelling at her...
"DIXIE!" Willow flew to her girlfriend's door and kicked it open, sprinting in.
Willow took a few seconds to take a good look at the scene she'd ran in on. One boy, possibly the youngest, was buried between three of the others, clutching a pillow against his chest. He had dark hair, and light eyes, and her whole face was red and tear streaked, he must have just looked up from the pillow when she kicked the door open, which figures.
"Who the Fuck are you?" One of the other boys sprung up, looking disgusted and furious. He had mostly black hair, and a few streaks of white at the front, like the markings on a German shepherd.
"How did you get in here?" The oldest in the group, a middle aged man, stood protectively, placing a hand on the shoulder of the young man who'd stood up. "Who are you?"
Willow was tongue tied at first. "...Dixie...?" They were all glaring at her, and she felt almost a little embarrassed to have charged in on these strangers. "Who are... you?" She stammered. "What are you doing here?"
The youngest boy looked her over, a look of confusion growing across his face. "Wally!"
He shot up, off the bed, but the other four put their arms out, holding him back. The eldest man (a father maybe?) gently pushed him back onto the bed. "Dick, calm down."
"But-"
"Dick."
The German shepherd turned back to face her. "What do you think you're doing barging in here, in that costume of all things? Fuck you!"
Willow was pressed against he doorframe by now. She may be an experienced crime fighter, but her brain was screaming that all of these men were capable of violence. If there was one thing that still terrified her, it was when practically any male raised their voice.
She knew the best thing to do was run, but she couldn't. Not yet. "I- I just need to find Rachel." She muttered, not taking her eyes off German shepherd, as he seemed the most hotheaded and aggressive of the four.
"Rachel?" One of the other guys, who looked to be in his late twenties or early thirties, stood up too. Willow was wrong thinking that German shepherd was the scariest looking.
Willow swallowed, eyes scanning for an immediate escape route, her fingers gripped around the door frame. "Yeah..." She croaked. "Rachel Grayson..."
"That's- Wally!" The crying one shouted again, already being restrained before he could kick off the bed.
"No Rachel Grayson here." The dad (she was assuming he was a dad) said sternly, staring her down with a glare rivaling Batwoman's.
"But, this is Wayne manor, where she lives..." Willow said, a little pathetically. "I need to see her! she thinks I'm dead!"
"No Rachel Grayson." The last one, who hadn't spoken and looked like a as tired as her college RA, said. "Only Richard Grayson."
Willow frowned a little in confusion. Richard does sound like Rachel... and what was that name he shouted? Wally? That sounded pretty familiar too...
"Dixie?" She asked the crying boy, trying to approach without getting in hitting-distance of any of the men.
He stared at her, his eyes were red and his face was soaked in what looked like hours of crying. "Wally-" He choked. College RA put an arm around his shoulders, shushing him.
She rested her hand on her chest. "Willow."
The guy looked confused, mouth slightly open. "West?"
"West." She nodded, feeling herself tear up a little. "Grayson?"
"Grayson." He sniffled.
Willow dived through the wall of men and wrapped her arms around him, tossing them both back on the bed. "Dixie!" She practically screamed, hugging him tight against her chest.
"Wally! Where did you- Wally!" He hugger her back, crying into her tangled ponytail.
"Dick, that's not Wally!" One of the men was saying, but she didn't know which one.
"and he's not Rachel, but goddamn it, he'll do!" She practically yelled, lifting him upright, still clutched in a hug. She felt the tears start to come.
"Where'd you go?" The guy sobbed.
"I don't know? I blacked out, and just woke up in the arctic!" Willow answered. "We defeated the reach, right? They're dead?"
He nodded a little, chin on her shoulder. "Yeah. They're gone."
Willow hugged him tighter, so relieved.
"Dick, That's not Wally." Tired RA was saying. "She's a girl. Wally's gone."
Willow shushed him violently, not wanting to cause her Dixie any more strife. "It's okay, baby, I'm back." She whispered, rocking her lover a little in their hug.
Dixie, well, Dick as the were calling him, spoke up. "Tim, look." He waved to her Kid Flash costume. "LOOK." He gestured wildly at her hair and face. "It's Wally!"
"That's impossible. the scary one said. "Wallace West is dead."
"Damian." The dad warned, glaring at him.
"Dixie." Willow said. If you're Dixie- but you're a boy. Then..." She looked up at the dad. "Beverly Wayne? Batwoman? This is impossible!" She gripped fistfuls her hair in confusion and frustration.
"Batwoman?" He asked. "Beverly Wayne? Calm down." He ordered, but despite herfear, Willow was on a roll.
"The white strip of hair, the... everything!" She stared up at German Shepherd. "You're Jasmine Todd! and You! Dayana!" She flailed her arm at The scary one, before moving on to the tired RA. "Tamera Drake! You're all the same, you're just, BOYS!" She shouted, almost triumphantly, and wrapped her arms around Dixie, Dick, again.
"Tamera?" Male-Tamera asked. He looked up at Male-Beverly.
"Dimensional overlap." Male-Bev said.
"What I'd assumed." Male-Tamera replied. "What happened to- uh, what's you're name again?"
"Willow." Willow said. "West. Willow West."
"Uh, right." Male-Tamera said. "What happened to Willow here sounds exactly like what happened to our Kid Flash."
"Two people in two parallel universes both running at a speed force-worthy speed." Male-Dayana pondered. "It is possible there was a collide..."
Willow looked up. "Then I've got to get home! I've got to get back to my universe to tell Dixie I'm okay!"
"Calm down." Male-Bev told her. "We need to slow down, interdimensional travel is no quick or easy feat."
Willow felt her face drop. "So... I can't go back?"
"Well... I don't know, this is a lot at once." Male-Tamara said, holding his head. "But if you're here, and you came to comfort Dick, then maybe our Kid Flash is over comforting you're girlfriend."
"Dixie." Willow corrected, feeling a surge of jealousy that she wasn't there to see herself comfort her girlfriend.
Dick let out a little sob. "You're Wally, you're exactly Wally, but you're not." He choked.
"I know! You're Rachel, but you aren't-" Willow sighed her frustration out. She wouldn't yell at Dixie in a time like this, and even if this wasn't quite Dixie, She would do her best.
