-Can't believe my parents didn't enjoy the episode of Gravity Falls I forced them to watch! Tbh I shouldn't be trying to re-establish emotionally bonds with them anyways...-

Ages:

Tim- 17

Bart - 17

Jason - 14

Roy - 14

Wally - 7

Artemis - 7

Dick - 5

"Bruce! I can't watch ALL of them!" Tim begged. "I promised this would be OUR day!"

"Well I'm running late, so you need to!" Bruce told him.

"Why can't Demon?"

Honestly, the only reason Damian wasn't babysitting is because he'd outran Bruce. "He's busy."

"and so am I!" Tim pouted, crossed his arms.

"Dick's watching TV, Jason's in his room, the others will be here around eleven." Bruce told him. "Be sure none of them are hurt."

"I know." Tim grumbled. "You are paying me for this, right?"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"OLLIE! I don't wanna take her!" The redhead complained, at least he was allowed to sit in the passenger seat, last time he had to sit in the back with her.

"Well you have to." Oliver said. "We're almost there."

"Me and Jay are hanging out! I don't her following us around!"

Artemis leaned against the seatbelt pinning her to her car seat. "I wouldn't follow you around for a hundred-million dollars!"

"Good! Cause I don't want you to!" He shouted back.

"Roy, quit it."

"What?" The thirteen-year-old gaped. "She said it!"

"Leave Artemis alone! She's-"

"She's your favorite?" Roy scoffed sarcastically, arms crossed tightly across his chest.

"She's seven." Oliver corrected. "Plus, she'll be playing with Dick and Wally the whole time. I guarantee she won't even bother you."

"She WILL by just being there!" The teen grumbled as the car approached Wayne Manor.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The doorbell rang. Tim shot down the stairs, almost trampling Jason. He tore the door open. "OH HEY Bart! come in!"

Bart stepped in, letting the smaller redhead slide off his back.

"I can run too, y'know!"

"Yeah, but you're a slowpoke." The teen fluffed his hair. "Besides, don't you wanna play with Dick?"

"Hang out." Wally corrected.

"Don't you wanna hang out with Dick?"

Wally nodded. "DICK?"

"YEAH?" Dick skipped down from the living room. "Wally!" The kids sprinted to each other, colliding in a bear hug. "C'mon!" They ran off.

"Hey Jay." Bart called.

"Hey." Jason stalled impatiently by the door, waiting for his boyfriend.

Tim and Bart began chatting as the latter shed his sneakers.
I mean, most people now couldn't tell you what was fashionable in1894. That's the thing with Bart, he'd been in the 'past' for five years, but his fashion sense was always either ten years late, or ten years early.

The second there was a knock at the door, Jason opened it. "Hi. Come in."

Roy entered, fuming, practically dragging the blonde kid after him. "Hey."

Jason shut the door after them. "Hey shortstack." The seven-year-old flipped him off. Jason approved of this.

"Go play with the others or something!" Roy let go of her, looking like he needed to boil his hand for sanitization. "Come on!" He kicked off his shoes, running upstairs after Jason.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"It's ridicules! she's not even his kid!" Roy ranted. "But NO! It's always 'whatever Artemis wants', 'where Artemis wants to go', 'watch Artemis for me today'... I CAN'T STAND IT!"

"I mean, when Dick..."

"Will you stop comparing them? Dick is a little angel boy, Artemis is a devil child!" The redhead said. "But it gets worse! I have to take Artemis to her playground! I have to be a role model! Did you see how he dropped me off today? It's because Artemis can't go on the bus with you." He mocked.

Jason agreed. "Sometimes Bruce makes me pick Dick up from kindergarten! It's so awkward: I have to stand there with all these moms in the elementary school grounds, and then I have to carry his backpack and stuff, and hold his hand crossing the road."

"Hey, at least Dick is cute!"

"You don't know him like I do!"

"Whatever. this time I'm not supposed to talk about her in front of her, because last time I 'was antagonistic'. Like, it's not my fault she's a total baby!"

"I know, right! maybe Dick should just not be scared of spiders! then he won't cry when I shout 'spider'!" Jason was acting up around his friend, he actually loved his little brother.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hungry!" Dick told his older brother.

"You want lunch?" Tim asked.

"YEAH!" He bounced a little, gripping his brother's trouser leg.

"Do you guys want Mac 'n' Cheese?" Tim asked

Wally nodded excitedly. "Yes!"

"Alright, How about we put on a movie for you and we'll make some Mac 'n' Cheese." Tim proposed.

"Yes!"

"MOVIES!" Dick squealed.

The cluster of kids followed to the home cinema. Artemis was way excited. "What movies can we watch?"

"Uh... Air Buddies?" Bart offered, peaking through their DVDs. He didn't know what Air Buddies was, but it had dogs on the cover and kids like dogs. "I think they're puppy movies?"

"YEAH!" Wally shouted. "Air Buddies! Air Buddies!" He chanted.

"Alright!" His big/little cousin took out the DVD cases. "Which one?"

Artemis stopped Wally's chanting. "What's Air Buddies?" Wally jumped into explaining the movies, while Dick was just excited, he LOVED the puppy movies.

Bart held up the movies to the other teen. "Pick a card, any card."

Tim smiled, and  picked a random movie and put it on:Space Buddies. Kids love puppies, and hero kids were no exception.

Tim returned to the kitchen with his boyfriend to make Annie's white shells. Well, he thought he did. Tim had gotten all the way to filling a pot with water, when he realized Bart wasn't there.

"Bart? Dude...?" He retraced his steps to the cinema. Bart stood on the doorway, watching the talking Golden Retriever puppies. "Bart?"

"Yeah?"

"We gotta make- we...." Tim stared into the screen. Talking puppies. Outdated affects. He watched all of these with Dick before, there was Buddhabud, Rosebud, B-Dawg, Budderball, and Mudbud... that was Dick's favorite. "I'm making lunch, how many packs?"

"Hmm?"

"What?"

"What'd you say?"

"Oh, how many boxes of Annie's will we need?"

"Three maybe." Bart shrugged, eyes glued to the screen. "Wait, can the humans hear the dogs talking? or...? Are they talking in Dog-language?"

"...I think the humans don't understand"

Bart nodded a little. "Why is the girl named Rosebud?"

"Cause she's the only girl one." Tim said. "I think."

They stared at the screen for a few more minutes. "B-Dawg?"

"Cause he's a hip hop dog." Tim explained. "Y'know, like Jazzy-J?"

"No."

"It's a stereotypical 1990s-2000s rapper name thing." Tim watched for a few more minutes. "Okay, I really gotta start lunch." He tore his eyes away from the screen, and returned to the kitchen, pouring several packs of noodles into the water. He started the sauce in another pan.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"What's doing on?" Roy and Jason had come downstairs to get soda, and noticed a movie playing.

"Dog movie." Bart was draped over the back of one of the sofas, watching the movie.

Jason rolled his eyes. "UGH! Air Buddies!"

"Kid's movie." Roy said.

"Dick watches these So much!" Jason complained. "They're so boring." He watched the dog's mouths move with outdated CGI. "The special effects are so bad... they're...."

"Yeah, why do these movies exist? I mean, I like Air Bud, -at least, when I was a little kid, but..."

The fourteen-year-olds stared at the screen. The dogs were going into space. Why space? They kicked the kids off the sofa, claiming it for themselves. This movies so dumb, and bad, so why couldn't they look away?

"Guys, food." Tim knew they weren't supposed to eat in the cinema, but he didn't want to make the kids pause the movie, this is the longest they'd stayed in one place all day.

"Is that a ship?" Bart asked.

"Yeah, that's a rocket ship." Tim told him.

"It looks... bulky."

"Well, what could you expect from Space Buddies, Circa 2009?" He leaned on the back of the sofa with his boyfriend.

Dick looked up from where he and the seven-year-olds sat on the carpet. "Space!" He shouted excitedly as the ship took off with pups inside.

"Yeah, they're going to space."

Dick stared at the screen, he loved these movies. Jason prodded his baby brother. "Hey, the Dogs speak better English then Dickie!"

The five year old looked confused, not getting why the fourteen-year-olds were laughing and high-fiving.

"HEY! Quit being mean!" Wally told them, sharing the blanket with him.

"Hey!" Artemis tugged the other end of the blanket. "I'm cold!"

"Dick's cold too!" Wally said, not knowing if it was true.

"But I had this side first and you pulled it away!"

Roy groaned. "Shut up!"

"You shut up!" Artemis grumbled.

"Just let them have the blanket, this isn't even your house!" Roy said.

"There's enough room for all three of you." Tim told the kiddies. "You can share it, it's a big blanket."

Bart squeezed his arm. "Can I have a blanket too?"

Tim agreed. "I'll get it if you bring in everyone's food."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bart was half asleep, He was cuddled with Tim on the floor. They were having a genuinely romantic moment, sure they were watching Snow Buddies (The kiddies wanted another movie) and sure, Wally was clinging to Bart's back like a backpack, but they'd made the most of it.

It wasn't a night out at a nice restaurant, but they were eating boxed Mac 'n' Cheese and watching Air Buddies on the floor with their baby siblings. That was sufficiently romantic.

Dick was cuddled with Jason, who was embarrassed by his little brother, but could put up with this since Dick needed cuddles.

Roy didn't get a chance to mock his boyfriend  though, he didn't want Artemis to touch him at all, but there wasn't much he could do as she was fast asleep, curled up against him.

They sleepily watched golden retriever puppies amble through the snow. Even Roy and Jason, their 'cool edgy'  teens were enjoying themselves.

Bart and Tim couldn't be happier.
