Overprotective Brothers VS Bringing a Boy Home
-Thank you to egyptb2008 for the request-
-Today I learned that the Transphobic sports kid in my class is literally a white supremacist. Plus he has no real points, and if you disagree, he just calls you a sheep. YIKES.-
Ages:
Damian - 28
Tim - 24
Jason - 19
Wally - 17
Dick - 15
"Kiss?" Dick asked.
Wally agreed, pressing his lips into his boyfriend's.They waited a few seconds, and then pulled away. "Want be to drop you home?"
"Yes please."
"Get on." Wally meant over a little, helping Dick scramble onto his back, and he hurried off towards Gotham.
It was mid-storm in Gotham, even worse than usual Wally had to slow down a little for fear that his kinetic energy would attract unwanted electricity. they were both soaked through as Wally stumbled to his feet in front of the manor.
"Keep safe." Wally said, lowering Dick from his piggy-back ride. "Go dry off."
Dick paused. "Don't go to fast, I don't you to get hit by lightning. Besides the obvious reasons, we don't know what'll happen."
Wally grinned, shoving his soaking hair from his face. "DOUBLE SUPER SPEED!"
"No!" Dick giggled. He let Wally pull him into rain-covered a kiss.
"RICHARD!" The boys split apart, stumbling backwards through the deep puddles that had already formed in the driveway. Damian was storming from the manor, into the rain. "Stay away from him!" Damian growled, storming towards Wally.
"Dick! Are you okay?" Tim followed his bother into the rain and grabbed Dick off the gravel. "What happened? Come inside?"
"Guys? What the hell?" Dick shouted over the rustling gravel and pounding rain.
"Boys? What the-" Bruce leaned out the door, having evidently heard his kids running full-speed out the door. "Dick, are you okay? It's pouring rain! Everyone inside." His boys all started shouting at once. "Everyone! You too, Wally, I don't want you out there."
"Yessir." Wally followed his boyfriend inside. He nudged Dick's arm a little. "I see he's not onboard with our double-super-speed idea."
Dick was busy scowling at his brothers, but spared a few seconds to give Wally's hand a squeeze. They kicked off their shoes and hung up their sopping jackets.
"Don't walk away, I'm in the middle of-" Jason had emerged from the kitchen, clearly upset that his father had walked off mid-argument. "Oh. Hey Wally."
"Hi Jay." the redhead rung a little water from his hair.
"Bruce! Where'd you go? Were you even listening to me?" Jason shouted at their father.
"Jason, I've been agreeing with you this entire debate." Bruce pointed out. "I'll be right back with you." He turned to his youngest son and his friend. "What were you two doing out in the storm, They've issued warnings."
"Well, We hung out in Jump for the day to get Boba, and we just came back." Dick justified, shivering in his soaked-through clothing.
"Yeah, I should probably head back..." Wally murmured, not really wanting to.
"It's fine, Stay for a bit and dry off." Bruce invited, out of all of his son's totally-heterosexual-male-bestfriends, He could cope with Wally. This was partially because Wally was a sad, traumatized child with no clear parental figure, and partially because Dick and he could usually entertain themselves without setting fires.
"What?" Damian ordered, he did not want his kid brother hanging around Wally West, and was more than willing to shove the speedster back into the storm.
"I'm with Demon: Send the flash into the thunderstorm and see what happens." Jason agreed sarcastically.
"We were just discussing that!" Wally grinned our bets are on either: me gaining twice the superspeed, or me dying by lightning strike."
"Well, let's not find out yet." Bruce said cautiously. The last thing he wanted was for Kid Flash to be even faster. "Stay a while until the storm clears up a little."
"ooh, Rocky Horror Picture show." Jason laughed. "Dibs on frank-N-Furter!"
"Only Jason would have to build himself a boy toy." Tim observed, still Eying Dick and his boyfriend suspicious.
"Fucking RUDE!" Jason shouted, he grabbed their father's arm. "Now GET back here, bitch! I hope you remember everything from the first half, cause I'm gonna jump right back into this debate."
"Jason, It's not a debate, I'm agreeing with everything you say...." Bruce objected, being dragged from the foyer so his second-youngest son could keep venting to him.
Now that Bruce and Jason were gone, Damian stormed over to the young couple. "That's it, West. Get out. I don't want to see you near Grayson again."
"Damian!" Dick shouted. He grabbed his redhead's arm "C'mon, Wally, let's go upstairs."
"NO! You are NOT going upstairs together!" Tim stepped between the two teenagers.
"Tim, Chill!" Dick pushed past his brother. "We're just going to get changed and watch Netflix or something..."
"Then you don't mind if We make sure of that?" Damian asked.
"Actually I do, because I don't like me brothers bothering me when I have friends over, much less my boyfriend!" Dick snapped, yanking Wally up the stairs. He was cold and soaked, and grumpy.
"I'll be checking on you to." Tim reminded. "So don't do anything!"
"Tim, He's below the age of consent!" Wally pointed out. "Why would I?"
"I don't trust your morals." Damian scowled as the two teens sprinted upstairs.
Dick hauled his boyfriend upstairs. The two of them headed into Dicks room, closing the door. Both of them began tearing off their soaked through closed, facing away from each other for fear Damian would kick down the door."Let's find some dry clothes for you to wear."
Wally frowned a little. "But you're the short one, I usually lend you clothes."
"We're both switches, Wally." Dick stated.
"We haven't even fucked." Wally pointed out. "And what I meant was that none of your stuff will fit me."
"Nope!" Dick reached into a reusable bag under his bed.
"Are those all the sweatshirts you've stolen from me?"
The younger rolled his eyes. "These are hand-me-downs. They might fit." Dick pulled out a hoodie and sweatpants. "These used to be Jay's. Try 'em on."
Wally chuckled a little. "Did- Didn't Roy used to have a hoodie like that?"
Dick looked down and his eyes widened. "Wait, yeah- hold on! It has his highschool's name on it!"
"Ew." Wally observed. "Lemme use that hoodie instead." Dick tossed it at him, and the two got changed into their dry clothes.
"What do you wanna watch?" Dick asked, opening his laptop.
"Something dumb. I need escapism." Wally admitted.
"Cartoons?"
"Sure." Wally pulled on his hoodie and leaned over his boyfriends shoulder. "How's about... Ducktales?"
"That's aimed at nine-to-twelve year olds?" Dick pointed out.
"And? It's fucking funny."
"Alright." Dick put an episode on and the two snuggled onto his bed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"HEY! Dickhead! Dad says dinner!" Jason shouted kicking Dick's door open.
"Jesus! JAY! knock!"
Jason stared in, confused. "Wally's still here? I thought demon dealt with him?"
"We're just watching cartoons!" Wally shifted away so that Jason could see they weren't doing anything.
Jason frowned a little. "Are those Roy's sweatpants?"
Wally looked down. "Shit, these too?"
"A bunch of Roy's stuff was in the bag of hand-me-downs you gave me!" Dick exclaimed.
"What?" Jason ran over and opened the bag on the floor and began pulling out sweatshirts. "Fucking Bruce. I'm taking these back! oh, and dinner!"
The teens trailed down to the dining room. They could feel the brothers glaring at them. "Wally! Sit next to me!" Dick called, wanting to make sure his brothers wouldn't stab his boyfriend.
"Okay..." The redhead sat next to him. Tim and Damian were sittig across from them, glaring suspiciously.
"Bruce what the fuck! I didn't say I was going to give up these sweats!" Jason complained, referring to his armfuls of hoodies, sweatshirts, and sweatpants.
Bruce frowned a little. "You never wear them. You said I could give Dick anything you don't wear."
"These are Roy's! I stole them to be cute, and I'm keeping them because they're mad cozy!" Jason replied. "I'm keeping them."
"Alright, if Dick's fine with it." His father shrugged, having given up on reasoning with his son. Jason was always a little too eager to fight, but after four kids, plus the girls, Bruce was too tired for that shit.
"It doesn't matter if he's fine with it, they were mine to begin with!"
"Jesus, Jay, eat your dinner." Tim sighed.
"...fine." Jason sat down and dug in. "Thank you Alfred."
The others hastily followed his example.
Wally was so relieved to be warm, dry, and digging into a huge plate of Shepherds pie with his boyfriends, but... the fact that the bat siblings, particularly the older two, were glaring at him kind of ruined it. Dick grabbed his hand under the table and squeezed it. It was like Dick didn't even realize his brothers were glaring at him, he was probably desensitized to it by now.
"So, What were you doing earlier?" Tim asked.
"Hmm?" Dick asked.
"You and Wally? What were you doing before coming here?" It was an interrogation.
"Just hanging out in Central." Dick stated, shoving a spoonful of shepherds pie in his mouth.
"What were you doing there?" Damian asked stiffly, aiming his sights at Wally.
"Just eating snacks and gossiping mostly." Wally shrugged. "I- I dunno how to describe it."
"Where?"
"Under the rain shelter of an elementary school." Wally stumbled.
"Where is that?"
"Nightingale Elementary Annex, 2nd and Cypress St, Central city." Dick answered, not looking up.
Tim immediately whipped out his phone and went on google maps. Bruce glanced over at his son. "I guess we know who's helping with the dishes. Phone away, Tim."
"One sec." Tim tapped his screen a few times, and nodded up at Damian and Jason. "It's real. north-west Central."
Dick rolled his eyes. "Do you guys have hobbies?"
"Yeah, chill." Jason laughed. "Goldie and Boy-toy are Obviously both virgins."
"You aren't worried about your little brother disappearing on a dime at five am to travel to another city and spend twelve straight hours with his boyfriend?" Tim argued. "Don't you feel suspicious that he'll just do that for a boy?"
"No! You can just track them!"
"YOU WHAT?" Dick stood up, furious. "You tracked me to Central?"
Wally finished clearing his plate. "I think the storm's cleared up..."
"You're the kid of the richest guy in Gotham, running off for twelve hours straight without keeping contact with anyone!" Jason pointed out.
"You can't just track me! You guys are crazy!"
"Dick, you disappear spontaneously, go to a different city, and stay there for over ten hours, all for your boyfriend. That's a red flag." Tim pointed out.
"Wally's not making me do it!" Dick shouted. "I planned the whole thing!"
"So? Can you blame us for being worried about the abusive implications?"
Dick looked furious. "You guys have known Wally for over SEVEN YEARS! Since we were Eight and Ten! And you suspect him of abuse?"
Wally began inching towards the door. "I should probably get home, I told Aunt Iris I'd be home before eight..."
"Physical and phycological abuse are learned and passed on from parent to child-"
Dick put his hand up to silence Damian. "I don't want to hear ANY of you bring up his birth-father!"
"Dick, we're just worried for you."
Dick smacked his head. "Let me spell this out: We won't have sex with each other until we're both over eighteen, Wally's been nothing but wonderful to me, It was MY idea to go meet up with him, and we spend so much time in Central so that I can get AWAY from you guys!"
"Thanks for Dinner, Alfie. Dick, I'll wash and drop the sweats off on Thursday...?"
"Wait, Wally, I'm sorry about them!" Dick tripped over his chair, running to his boyfriend.
"I know, okay. Thanks for having me, guys, Bruce."
"Get home safe." Bruce called absently, working hard to ignore his kid's shouting
"God, I'm so fucking sorry!" Dick ground his teeth. "They had to bring up... sorry."
Wally silenced him. "Seriously, it's okay." He looked up at the older brothers. "No hard feelings, guys. Obsessive and protective tendencies are learned and passed on from parent-to-child."
