He sighed, sitting at his desk. Gosh this place looks so different at night, he thought. He thought back to what the manager had said. Xisuma was his name? Check the cameras, turn off any lights if they're still on, stuff like that. He checked the clock. 11:30 pm. Just a bit early for the first night.

The phone suddenly rang so he picked it up. It was a voice message.

Uh, hey there! the person greeted. My name's Taurtis! Hope you enjoy your job here at Hermitcraft Hangouts! I really- He suddenly sighed. Alright that's it. I'm just going to tell you what this place really is. It's a house of terrors. The animatronics, they move on their own during the night. They'll try to kill you. Switch over to cam 2.

He was confused, but switched over nonetheless. He could just barely make out Cub and Scar standing in the kitchen, their heads titled down to show they were off.

That should be Cub and Scar, Taurtis explained. Watch out for them. Cub is unpredictable and will move at random. He won't hesitate to come for you and kill you. Scar usually leaves with Cub and then goes to the theatre to wait for Doc to leave. Go to cam 4.

He switched over and saw the theatre. Impulse, Tango, and Zed were standing on the stage, their heads tilted down as well. He could also see the dusty cloth thrown over Doc, an "out-of-order" sign hanging from him.

The ZIT band should be onstage, Taurtis said. Zed is fairly tame. He'll typically just wander around and occasionally try to scare you on the cameras. Tango likes to pop up on different cameras and scare you, and sometimes try to come to your office. He's mainly a distraction. Impulse usually just follows one of them. You'll probably see him near either Tango or Zed most of the time. Now Doc there. Taurtis' voice had suddenly grown shaky. Doc's scary.

He gulped. The rest of them were scary enough! How could Doc be any worse?

Doc will wait until Scar gets to him. Then he'll crawl out from under the sheet and try to get to your office to kill you. If you're out of your office, Ren will usually let him know and he'll hunt you down. Go to cam 1.

He shakily switched to camera 1. He saw Ren standing in the prize booth, his head tilted downwards. His hands were shaking at this point.

Ren's usually the first one awake. Awake? Did he mean the first to... come alive? Ren's not too bad. He mainly acts as a distraction for Doc and will go around to turn on some lights. He seems to just like frustrating security guards. Go to cam 3.

He switched over, breathing shallowly. Mumbo, Iskall, and Grian were standing in the arcade, heads tilted downwards.

Mumbo's the tamest of them, Taurtis explained. Typically he just comes to your door and stands there, not even trying to come in. Iskall likes jumpscaring you on the cameras, but otherwise he's pretty tame. Watch out for Grian though. He's the newest of them all so I don't know really know how he acts. All I can is he's dangerous. Oh, and one more thing.

What else could there be?! There weren't anymore animatronics as far as he was aware...

You see the battery in the top right corner of your screen? I looked and could see the little battery bar showing 100% power. Keep an eye on it. If it goes down to zero, you're as good as dead unless you can manage to get to the generator and back.

He shivered, imagining the animatronics faces gleaming with blood in the dark.

Well that's it! Taurtis said. Good luck! Try not to die! Then the phone clicked silent. And the clock ticked to midnight.

The first night had officially started.

He decided to check out the kitchen first. Taurtis said that Cub was unpredictable. The pair hadn't moved yet. Then he checked the prize booth.

Ren was gone.

Oh frick.

Then he checked the theatre. He saw Scar waiting by the sheet-covered Doc and the ZIT band was gone.

Oh. Frick.

He shakily checked the game room only to be met with Tango's creepy robotic face and a loud, shrill screech.

HOLY FRICK!

He yelped and nearly fell off his chair from shock. He quickly switched to kitchen where Zed was just standing and staring at the camera. Impulse was standing behind him, but he wasn't looking at the camera.

He hears a clatter outside his door and instantly whipped around. He saw Mumbo slowly walking to his door. He jumped up and slammed his hand on the button, quickly shutting the door. Glancing back at his cameras he saw Doc and Scar gone as well.

Well, he thought. Isn't this just lovely?

The rest of the night didn't go much better. He ended up getting jumpscared multiple times by Tango and Iskall, Grian nearly killed him twice by running to his door, he had to go out once to turn off a light Ren flipped on and Doc nearly murdered him, it was just a wreck. He walked out at 6 am, sweating and on the brink of a panic attack.

H-how am I supposed to survive till I get my first paycheck? he thought. He desperately needed the money and this job paid so much, but was it really worth it?

a Fnaf AU! originally Doc was going to crawl from the vents, but then i realized i didn't know how the guard is supposed stop that but i was too scared to google it ;-; also i couldn't include everyone because jesus christ eighteen animatronics- EX would instantly die

if this was a real game/story though, the animatronics would switch up each night. The first night would be ZIT, ConVex, RenDoc, and Architechs; the second night would be the girls, PWJ, and Joe, etc etc (yes there would be some repeats lol)
