Why do I do this to myself (also spam)

Just finished a pretty major project? Let's start another! Well this isn't as much as the other and won't take nearly as much time (as I've been working on it very often as of late. EDIT: a few weeks later writing the rest of this and haven't worked on it at all whoops forgot about that should actually work on it some more) but I'm gonna just share the progress so far.

I was just starting to ink the main figure and wasn't exactly sure of the background yet, but then...

GREAT IDEA: add a bunch of tedious diamonds!

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! Not sure I was thinking straight when I made this choice.

Because you know this only took a few hours. Oh well, I actually really like how it's turning out. Oh, and as for what the picture is about I don't really know, it's just some cool person in a flowing coat summoning a super fancy bladed weapon.
And also purple because it's my favorite color.

Along with that, I drew a picture of me with 2 friends when we were spray painting and had to put bandanas on our faces. We were joking that we were totally gonna go join a gang and that created this picture in my head:

I'm on the left, Salami (real life tho) is on the right, and another friend in the middle with super derpy arms don't mind those.

Also, I was at the eye doctor the other day and felt like drawing my friends as RPG people but chibi-esque because why not man.

I usually suck at anything chibi at all, but these actually turned out great in my opinion. Oh yeah, the one who hires an army to fight for her I have now dubbed Trout.

These were some doodles from a good while ago, but the one on the left is just some random girl who lives in the wild with an epic neon headband because I was at a writing tournament with my school team and my teacher had lent me her highlighter for something else and I had the instinct to color that headband with it so that happened. The other one was, as dubbed, a really cool badass guy we saw walking around Panera afterwards. He had one of those tan detective coats on and a same colored hat to match. Unfortunately I didn't bring my sketchbook in to the restaurant so I had to draw him from memory in the car because I couldn't resist. I swear he walked straight out of a video game with the way he presented himself and walked around. I had half a mind to go compliment his outfit but I felt that might be a little weird and awkward heh.

(I bet he had a magnifying glass in one of those pockets)
