7- Not trying to hide 🌙
Grian realized it. He WAS trying to stay out of the public view. He wasn't trying to hide. He just didn't want anyone to notice. He didn't want anyone to worry. Of course, it was just a little eye bags and gray feathers. No one would care right?
He had only been staying in his alleyway. He peeked out, still day time. His mind felt allergic to the sun. He wouldn't mind going out but something was repelling himself from doing so. He stepped deeper back into the alleyway, trying to find something to do. Could he build something new? No, probably not. The alleyway was full. He was sure he could find something to add but he couldn't think of anything. Did he have builders block? (It was just a term he made up, he didn't know if it actually exisited,)
Once the sun set and moon rose, he flew to the observatory. Not because he wanted to measure it but because he needed to get out the alleyway. Should he tell someone about his issues? He nibbled the tip of his thumb in thought. He sat there for a bit and watched the moon. He didnt hear anything and got bored. Grian jumped and flapped his wings to give a boost strong enough to hop on top of the observatory. He looked out across Boatem. He spoted Mumbo, his head shot up.
Mumbo! He could tell Mumbo! No, he couldn't. Grian would worry him and Mumbo will think it's his fault. Then, Mumbo will check on him daily. Then, thee voices might hate him. Then, when he closes his eyes for 2 seconds he murders Mumbo. Then, he killed his best friend. Then, Mumbos ghost will haunt him forever and Grian will live with the guilt of Mumbos death on his hands! But what if the hermits find out? Oh.. He'll executed..or exiled!
So telling Mumbo was out of the question. He couldn't tell anyone could he? That same process might happen. He sighed in defeat and hopped back into the copper roofed building. He looked at the moon which was right above him. It had grown, Grian didn't worry about updating the roof. He'd do it tomorrow. Now, he has to figure out what to do.
He layed down on the observatory floor, brainstorming ideas on what to possibly do. He had kept the tear shaped rock in his pocket. Grian pulled it out and looked at it.
He couldn't tell anyone. That kept repeating on his head. He felt lonely. He had never felt lonely before he'd always had someone by his side. Now, it was just him, the moon, and his thoughts.
Thoughts.
Where were the voices?
Hello? Grian thought as he sat up.
Wow, he'd gotten so lonley he'd starting to talk to imaginary voices in his head. That says a lot about a person doesn't it? He waited a bit. Even a "moon" would have been fine. There were no thoughts, his was head empty. Grian felt all different emotions, having to do with scared, confused and sad. He felt... Empty. No one was there to listen or help him. He teared up.
No. Grow up. You're ok. He stood up and flew back down to the alleyway. He was tired. The sun had almost finished rising. Was it an instinct to escape the sun? He didn't intend to do it. He sighed.
He landed and began to make his way back when a voice stopped him.
Grian!" Mumbo yelled.
