"Haven't we done enough hiding?" Pearl huffed, "Maybe we should face them head on?"
Mumbo shook his head, "They are more skilled and stronger then us."
"But you stabbed them in the leg!"
"That was just quick thinking.."
"Well they have to be somewhat slowed down now.." Pearl remarked. Mumbo sighed and peered out of the eerie alley they snuck into, Moon wasn't in sight.
The duo sat in silence, catching their breath. Mumbo rubbed his sore throat from the headlock.
"What now?" Pearl glanced at Mumbo, he looked back with a flat stare and changed his glance back to the ground.
"The plan, light the candle."
"Right," Pearl spun the lighter out as Mumbo retrieved the candle.
But there was no candle.
Mumbo looked around the alley and checked the corners frantically.
"Oh no."
"Where is it?" Pearl checked under her.
"I don't know," Mumbo put his hand over his mouth and thought for a second. He slammed his fist on the ground when his realized; "When Moon had their arm around me they must have grabbed the candle without me even knowing! I was so focused on escaping I didn't realize it was gone!"
Pearl sighed and stood up, "Let's go."
"No way!"
"Then what do we do?" She grabbed his shoulders, "If we leave them out there any longer who knows what they will do? Heck for all we know Moon could be out of boatem!"
"No way, not with a stabbed leg."
"Allow me to but in for a second?" Grian pitched.
"What?" Mumbo tried to ask politely, but only sounded aggressive.
"Why not ambush them? It seems like you 2 are good at hiding and it's 2 to 1. One of you can tackle them and the other can retrieve the candle!"
"Remind me why we can't just murder moon?"
"It's a risk, we might kill me too. This way it's like an exorcism," Grian responded. Mumbo shrugged and told Pearl the plan.

Moon stood in the grass in front of the mooners shrine as if they weren't just stabbed or hellbent on destroying the server,
"A beautiful shrine, isn't it?" They spoke aloud, they knew the 2 were close but couldn't quite tell their location. "Grian thought he built it himself when it was really all my doing. It's a shame none of you fell for it, then maybe you would've been spared."
A shiver slid through Mumbo and Pearls spine.
"Come out, I know your around. There isn't much places you can hide," They turned around and darted their eyes around.
Mumbo and Pearl hid behind a nearby magma statue, it was way to close and was a poor hiding spot but it was to late to change now. Moon looked straight at it but didn't approach; instead they brought their hand up, put their hand in a fist and flicked their risk, causing an earthquake. The duo fell to the ground, revealing themselves. Moon smiled.
"I'm aware that I could've just walked over but I thought that an earthquake was more suitable since you have no idea who you're going up against."
