Whispers on the Wind
An angry wind
Whips across the Steppes,
Disturbing ancient bones,
Demanding answers from Ghengis
About lost Chin empires.
It sweeps across deserts
Waking Pharohs
And dead slaves, alike.
Losing anger
It sails across oceans
Conversing deeply
With leviathans
On the meaning of life.
It reaches land
As a gentle breeze,
Teasing the soft silver hair
Of a secret lover,
Telling her to keep faith,
To kiss the wind,
And her dreams will come true.
