Until The Spring
Way above the vast majestic peaks
Of the Himalayas,
Carrying Cranes
Upon their epic journey,
It roars.
Crashing,
Smashing,
Dashing through
The Hindu Kush,
Rushing,
Pushing,
Into the valleys
Of the Khyber Pass,
Fast, on its way
To make the oceans angry,
Til gentle seas
Release its fury.
Onto cities, and towns
It goes,
Slows,
To gentle breeze,
Kissing Christmas trees.
Two lovers,
Mittened, hand in hand,
Stand,
And sing,
Knowing love
Will last,
Through spring.
