I Shall, We Shall
I shall trek through the mountains,
Listening to the ancient tales
Of timeless rocks.
Tread the path of Hannibal,
And bathe in the warmth of the snow.
I shall meander through the jungles,
Listening to the tales of Anacondas,
Smiling at the old jokes
Told by lizards.
Leaving behind my black umbrella.
I shall traverse the deserts,
Counting the grains as I go,
I shall commune with Scorpions,
Though I shall not carry them
On my back.
When my time is done,
I shall meet you on a carpet of stars,
Where, together, we will open
The secrets of the universe,
Becoming one, together.
