"I-It was supposed to s-stop... I-I WAS SUPPOSED TO D-DIE!"

Okay, a bit of an explanation here, this is from a scene that I have planned out in a story that I may/may not actually write.

Remember Disease of the Mind? Well, the concept is that the disease mutated and can now only target skeletons. Someone in the Multiverse came into contact with a contaminant of the mutated disease, and they turned. But then they became a vector for the disease, and they've started to spread it across the entire Multiverse.

So, when Dream was bitten (I won't say who it was that did it), he turned to a last resort option; eat one of the corrupted apples and hope that it contained enough negativity to just simply kill him.

Hence why the GB! Dream in said fanfic is going to be Shattered. :P
