If you guys have been keeping up with my message board, you'll know that I auctioned off my lamb recently... And I have severely regretted doing so.

I wrote something in his memory, which I will put below, for those who have not read it.

Doofensmirts

The best lamb a 4H kid could ask for.
The lamb who could knock you down, yet help you stand taller at the same time.
The lamb who made you laugh one moment, then made you scream in frustration the next.
The lamb that was adorably stupid in everything he did.
The lamb that never won any shows, yet was still a champion in my own eyes.
The lamb that made enemies of inanimate objects, yet became friends with anyone who gave him love.
The lamb that came out of the show ring with that "eager to please" look in his eyes.
The lamb that was slow to learn, but quick to make friends.
The lamb that I called my companion.
The lamb who became the best partner in an underdog duo.

The lamb who once wore a cape while standing next to his sidekick in the show ring.
The lamb who was ready to save the world that he left two days later.
The lamb that would hop playfully across the yard on the heels of dogs, as if he were one of them.
The lamb that pranced about in February snow- the only snow he ever got to see.
The lamb that once looked down on a runty baby goat with love and curiosity in his large brown eyes.
The lamb who would have looked at the bringer of his death with that same loving gaze.
The lamb that always came running when he was called.
...
The lamb who probably would have broken out of that truck to return to me when I cried his name that night.

Doofy was the lamb with a special place in my heart. He was also the one who's absence broke it.
