The next day arrived and Adrienne was feeling nervous. She was going to tell Marin about how she felt... But she felt as though it won't end well. But, as they say, it's better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all. So, once the day ended, she went home, transformed into Chat Noire, and started to head to Marin's place. Chat, what're you doing here? Marin asked. She took a deep breath and looked Marin in the eyes. I-I... I have something t-t-to... T-Tell you...!

Okay then, spill it. Marin said, hoping that she'll calm down a little. She seemed nervous to him. Chat sighed. Okay, Adrienne... Calm down... You can do this...! I... I-I...! B-Before I say anything, I-I know that you a-a-and Lucy m-might be a thing and all...! B-But... I just wanna say... I-I REALLY LIKE YOU!

Aww, Kitten. I like you too. Chat Noire felt as if her heart was going to melt until she realized... Marin meant as 'just friends'. N-No! I mean, like... I like-like you... romantically... She said, face feeling like it was on fire. Marin's face started to feel and look the same. Both were feeling a little... how should one put it? Nervous? 

W-Why do I feel so... Nervous? Chat's my friend. I shouldn't be nervous. So why am I nervous...? Marin thought to himself. I... I don't know what to say... Chat just stared at him, eyes starting to well up. What do they do now? W-well... What do we do now...? She asked. Marin took a moment to think. Let's just... talk... I guess.

They spent the day together, just hanging out, playing around, talking about everything and nothing at the same time. It was like... Like nothing happened at all just a few moments ago. Everything was normal between them. That was... Until a certain question popped from Marin's mouth. Hey, kitty...? How'd you know me and Lucy were... y'know...

Chat froze. She didn't want to tell Marin that she was there. Then again, he's bound to find out... She took a deep breath and faced him. It was on one of those days I usually visited you on... I saw and heard everything... I just... didn't want to intrude... She said. I mean, it wasn't exactly a lie... but it wasn't exactly true either. She did want to stop what was going on but she didn't want Marin to think she was all... y'know...

After a while, she had to leave. She didn't want to, but she had no choice... Once she left, Marin was just left alone in his room with his thoughts... Why don't you just tell her that you like Lucy? Tikki asked. I wanted to tell her that, Tikki! But... I froze... I didn't know what to say... I mean, the woman just said it out of nowhere, and you expect me to reject her on the spot?

I mean, it's what Adrienne did to you. Am I wrong? Marin was shocked at Tikki's behavior. Then again, she was not wrong. But that didn't mean that Marin wanted to do the same. M-Marin, I'm sorry...! I-I didn't mean to--

Tikki, you're not wrong... Marin said out of the blue. So... what're you gonna do? Tikki asked. Marin could only think to himself about what he might do... ...I don't know... What's wrong with me...?
