Liam's POV

There was something beautiful about that night. Whether it was the moon shining so brightly across the shore, or the star's reflection on the waves like drops of diamonds. It was almost ethereal.

Or maybe it was Beethoven playing on speakers instead of edm in a beach party, or warm bonfire setting down the mood.

Or it was the girl with a bottle of bear in her hands and smile on her lips.

You know how you look at someone and time really freezes for a few seconds? I thought it happened in movies only but oh well.

She stood there, barefoot near the shore. Playing a game with waves. She'd run away before the waves rose to touch her and laughed loudly after somehow waves embraced her. I couldn't help but to be enchanted by her.

She was almost like some magic. Trained to bewitch you. Laugh sound like a melody. Smile like guitar strings in a sync. Eyes brown enough to make you crave drowning in them.

Trust me when I say this, I don't fall easily. I hope I don't fall. But she...she was like a hiraeth.

The feeling of longing for a home that no longer exists or never was. A deep and irrational bond felt with a time, era, place or person. She felt like that, even from a far.

I am brave, they say.
I can approach anyone, they say.
Then why my heart is beating so dramatically as I walk towards her.
