IVAN POV

The sun finally shines in my life. My handwork was resulting the sweet love fruit. I never can forget that day as long as I am alive. The day marked as my mate acceptance, the happiest moment in my life. Gosh, I wish the time would stop from ticking.

Another thing I'm very concern with the little voice that Rylan told me. This morning I called Ralph first before doing anything else. He told me there are fifty percent I could have turned Rylan to our kin. But the chance is slim to none because the chiefs of the elder signed the treated for sealed the power of turning human to any of the supernatural. The treaty has taken away the ability. Ralph promised to visit us later.

"Stop drooling like an idiot." My mate shouts from my left side.

"Let me dreaming a few more minutes." I kiss his head.

"You're too old to keep dreaming like some teenager." He said again.

"Dream never chooses the age." I grab him into my laps. "You're so beautiful. Now my only regret was handing you to another stranger." His face was blushing when I kiss his nose bridge. He uses his palm to hide the blushing face.

"Don't hide your face from me. I want to commit everything about you in my memories." I grab both of his hands.

"But... But... it so embarrassing." He is stuttering when reply me.

"The shy you are so adorable." I burst into laughter after seeing he is like a ripe red tomato.

"Hmm, when the date of the ceremony? Do I move too fast after my husband died?" I used everything to restraining the jealousy feeling in me.

"Whenever you are ready, Munchkin." I said while battling with my true will.

My true intent was to complete our mating ceremony as soon as possible. I want to be proud like any others mate couple. Proudly show my mark and scent latch on him to other people. A proof that this astounded person only belongs to mine.

"Thank you for understanding, Ivan." He flashes the charming smile.

"Are you ready to meet my parents?" He nods. "Unfortunately, Allen refuses to go to there and my parents understood our son's condition" I was chirping close to him. We were planning this earlier, for him to meet my parents. My ears almost deafened when they keep asking about my mate.

"What if they think I wasn't right for you? You see, my first impression totally wrecked due to my craziness." He confidence level goes down as well his head. The worry is clear in his body.

"This planned was theirs. You don't need to be so much worry because they have already welcomed you as their own son too." I comfort him, but it didn't enough to deplete the worrywart in himself.

When the time shows twelve o'clock, we start walking to my parents' house. We meet Allen and make sure the food already delivered to him. Rylan waved his hand when the pack members had waved him and given them genuine smile.

The meeting goes very well with a few dirt splashed on my face as my mother talked to him. A dirt means that my mother had taken Rylan's side and blaming me for making stupid rejection. In short time, my parents have already swapped my position with Rylan. They treat him as a biological son and me as son-in-law. Really great parents, they are. Ernest is also there in welcoming Rylan as his new father to be. He quickly warms to Rylan and Rylan promise him to move with us after we officially register our marry later.

I also ask a favor to my parents to babysit Allen for one day. I know Allen never burden anyone because he such a nerd and my parents have a good book collection from fiction to nonfiction etc. to bait our son from seclusion. I sure Allen will fall in love with my parents' library. They agree and advise me to snatch my mate's heart again. To atone my old sin because a single glance they know how much my mate wounded. Call it as a parent's intuition.

"Where are we going? Please tell me." I was thankful that this road was quite alienated from any of busy life.

That also can save my ass from being caught in a roadblock. If you are wondering why, the cause it is none than the person beside me. I was on my way to special place as our first date with the 'kidnapped mate' keep asking for umpteenth times where we are going. I used a blindfold to cover his eyes. He dressed up in leather black pants, dark brown V-neck slim fit shirt a finished with the black leather hooded and boots.

Cedric and I will seriously kill someone today if there a raping immoral that dares look over our sexy mate. Fortunately, we will go to places where less people. Gosh, no matter how he wants to look as a bad boy or mature man, he is miserable failed caused by his look. I mean nobody will suspect he is already having a child the way he was. He was likely having a permanent teenager look. Not too baby face yet not to mature too. He just stuck in between teen to adult like face.

He still tapping his finger around the car window while the impatient was clearly covered his face. I just smile seeing his childish side. The huffs and grunted easily passed from his natural pink like lips.

"We have arrived, Munchkin." Like a good boy, he peels off the blindfold with squinted eyes glaze over me.

"Why we are here? Don't tell me that we need to fly to another country? We didn't pack anything nor we tell Allen. The boy is restless if we left him pass twenty four hours." I kiss his kissable lips to prevent him from question me again.

"Calm down, Munchkin. We will not fly anywhere, nor will leave our son to others people more than twelve hours. I just want to show and make you feel like an adrenaline junkie without taking the actual drug. I will make you scream in total under adrenaline influence." His body shiver when I whisper the word.

"Hi, Alpha, I have already prepared everything according your order. Do you ready to venture this excitement, Alpha Rylan, right? The name is Ross, the instructor." Rylan is obviously puzzling with the word but still greet Ross well.

"Hi, Ross. How do you know my name? Please drop the title too because I'm just a mere human." Rylan politely answer him.

"No because you're our selfish alpha's mate means that you're our alpha as well. Finally, there is exist someone out there that can reigned this bad boy alpha." Ross burst into laughter.

"Ross as much as I know you really adores and fascinate with my charm but right now, your compliment is unneeded. So refrain from taking out your compliment ever after. Can we get going now before the desire to spank your hairy ass kick my instinct?" I smile triumphant when seeing him in fear.

"Shall we go now?" He said after getting his composure again.

"Where are we going?" Rylan is pouting when I just brush his questioned aside.

"You will know in a few more minutes." I circle my arm around his slender waist.

Rylan gasps when I lead him to the plane. However, he still keeps in the dark about the true intent when we board it. He just realized when Ross comes and instructs us to strap the parachutes on our bodies. Rylan's face becomes white like a paper as Ross helps him to wear it.

"Do you need to do this on our first date? You're crazy... you will kill us before..." He said with deep grimace on his face.

"Don't jinx us, Alpha. I admittedly that my alpha have a few of screw loose in his head but believe me that he also hold the professional skydiving license. Don't worry he will shield you from any danger like Clark Kent." Ross grinned that make me slap his head.

"Believe in me, Munchkin. I will guard your safety and bet that once diving won't sate after you have taste the euphoria like flying like a bird and conquer the sky. You will do well." I comfort him as the plane ascends to the blue sky.

"Okay, but if I die I will haunt you for the lifetime." He said after I released the hugs.

The plane stop its engine as Ross giving the signal that we already above 10 000 feet. I feel the butterflies dancing in my gut when the rush of air get inside as the door opened. The feeling never faded no matter how many times I have done it. The feeling of freedom as if you are having a pair to fly across the sky is indescribable when falling down around one hundred and eighty Km per hour for sixty minutes of freefall. It is addicting and exciting. I want to pass the feeling to my mate too.

"Jump, Munchkin." I ask him but his almost teary eyes make me think twice. Do I really push his limit? "You can do it, Love."

With that, he slowly walks to the door. With the heighten hearing I could hear the word his whisper to encourage himself. Then, like a beautiful swimmer, my mate somersault through the open door. Then Ross gives me a pat as it is my turn to jump out. I quickly do and the scorching sun brewing across my skin under thin fabrics.

I go to my flailing mate and catch his arms. He faintly smiles when he spot me. I hug his trembling body and cursed for never ask his permission first. Slowly, his body start adjusts to the surrounding.

"You're doing great for the first timer." The smile appears on his handsome face.

"Really? I think I almost die when you take a long time to jump." The feeling of descend from above the cloud not scary as we always picture.

"Sorry because I never ask you permission first. So, how you feel?" I ask him in an attempt to distract him from dark thought.

"It feels so amazing. I feel totally free as if I can fly like the bird." His honest word wipes off the guilty feeling in me.

I tighter my hugs around his body with relief but still stiff for some reason. "Munchkin, will you marry me? Will you become an official mate of me?"

My body going under pressure when he is takes a sweet time in answering me. The sweats starts to form on my forehead. He stares me without blinking that makes me question if I proposed too soon. I know I kinda of eating my own word when previously I said didn't mind about marry stuff.

Nevertheless, he is human and marry was always a biggest event in the human world. I want brand him in both of werewolves and human tradition. A gentle touch brings my mind to reality.

"I do." He replies sent me to the top of heaven. I don't care when Ross claps his hand nor I hear the congratulation word. I was just in my own world, hugging him for dear life.

"Thank you, Munchkin; you make me as a happiest man ever. I swear with the sky as witness, that I will love you for eternity. I will be the best husband and mate. I will protect you and our son no matter what condition I am. If I ever broke one of those vows, you're free to kill me anytime, anywhere. I will love and make you as a happiest person and wash away all your insecurity and sadness. Thank you again for accepting me."

"Is that all? Seem like you're unromantic man." Rylan mocks me and my laughter flattered. "Don't discourage dear mate. I just joke and apologize for killing the mood...." He seems wavered.

"Like you, I also clueless about the romantic thing. I'm just a plain man with only a few experience. However, despite everything I know my love for you keep increasing since the day we met again. You make my world up and down, paint it with bright and dark colors, and you show me your weakness without concealed it. You win my heart back without sugarcoat word. In addition, simple apologize and forgiveness have a great effect in our life, bringing us to where we are today. I love you the way you are, not as a pretender or a playboy. I want you true heart and love, and stand above anyone that ever enter your heart." The happiness tears running down my face with the repeated thank you to him.

"Guy, times to go crazy." Ross said before push his parachute open. It feels ironic when I look the color of his rainbow parachute. Immediately both of us pushed our own parachutes. We sway in the air as we enjoy the view under us. Everything looks so small but amazing. I hope this date wills left an unforgotten memory in his life.

After flying in the sky, we descend on the landing area. I walked to Rylan in worried when seeing him stood still and never react when Ross ask him something. He just looks at the horizon of sky in silence.

"Munchkin, are you okay?" I shook his body that snaps him from the stupor. His body tremble, leaning his body on mine as his legs almost give up.

"I'm fine... just feel lost something." He answers sheepishly.

"What is it?" I ask him in curiosity. Did he still thinking about Alfred. Does my date can't beat the one Alfred given to him?

"I didn't want to lose the freedom we held a few moments ago. I want more..." His word lightens my mood.

"Don't worry, Munchkin, we can come again whenever you have a hunger to fly across the sky again. For today, we need to stop here as I want to bring you to another place." Ross wishes us the best for later plan.

After that, I bring him to famous wine château. I know he have an obsession over the wine and have a few of the limited edition in his collection. His eyes brighten more when he has spotted the signboard and vineyard. This place located in the suburb area provided the calmness that you never found in the city.

Rylan is jumping up and down while talking nonstop about this place and their popular product. We walked until we reached the receptionist and informed us that their owner is waiting us in the backyard garden. She led us to there and the owner greets us friendly.

The truth was the owner actually my father's best friend and owed something from my dad. He animatedly explains about the grape garden that filled up his land. Even though, he just a traditional wine maker and only supply around the local area but his wine is really good.

Honestly, I didn't know too much about the wine so sometime I'm a bit clueless when they got to detail. However, it is okay because my munchkin is so engrossed in it and my choice of place gotta be right. A smile plastered on his face all times. His eyes are brimming with happiness.

The one thing that make my heart fluttering is when he circle his arm around my waist and don't shame displayed the affection front other people that keep checking us.

"Do you like my second choice of place? Sorry I keep bringing you to place with other people presence." I kiss his right hand.

"Do I really need to spill out whatever I'm feeling now?" I nod. "Simply say, you just give me worth memories for our old times reminisce in the future. And, I glad you were not taking me to normal bored date." He flashes me the lining of white pearl smile.

The owner gives us an opportunity to explore his vineyard without any guide, as he knows this is one kind of the date. I send him the grateful smile when take my mate to walk around the vineyard. He also gives us the permission to pluck the fresh grape too.

We walk leisurely and sometime pluck the ripe grape into our mouth. Rylan wanted to make the connection to the owner and planned to use his place wine in his restaurant. I can help him with this one plan, I think inwardly.

After a few yards, I hear Rylan's stomach growl loudly. I laughed when his face gets crimson red. "Sorry, I don't know we have walked too long. So, my mate wants to go to last place before we head back."

"How you can planned so much in first date? You almost kill my foot now." He whines after we back to the lounge area. The owner gives us three bottles of wines that held three years. The years those oddly are very important to us.

"The red cap bottle is your birthday year, the day when my mate born into this world. The green cap was the year when I first met you, fallen in love with you, rejected, and crushed by your fake dead. Lastly, the white cap..." I trail my word when he caresses the date on the bottle.

"The date of the year we re-unite again." He continues my hanging sentence. "Thank you so much, Love." My world spins with colored starlight and flower blooming when he called me 'love'. A simple word yet so powerful to reduced me on this level.

I thanked the owner for fulfilling my selfish wishes. The owner just waived myself aside and added another bottle as a gift to my father.

I tell him that we have to drive back to my pack ground. He just nods as our hand interlaced through the road and barely part. We talked about all the thing that happened in our life including the stupid one. Strangely, we didn't feel any offended when we touched the crucial part like how he meet Alfred or how I had chosen Kayla over him.

I finally like totally being free from the past chained when being honest with him. After that, we arrive at the pack ground with the sky start beaming with orange colour. The pack members were whispering when spot us. We use the interval time to take a quick bath and dress up in the more relaxing type of clothes. I led him again once we are done.

I hope everything is perfect as I was planning earlier. I put the same blindfold to cover his sight. He whines and said is dangerous to walk in darkness, I just chuckled lead him to the said place. I pull off the blindfold when we arrive at the place. He had intake sharp breath when spot the candle on the table near the waterfall.

My territory is a large that have some places that never be probed by anyone yet. This place is one of those places. Aside the candle that lit in the middle of the food, there are several candles put on the area that enough to bright the whole area. The large banquet of rose flower with several color had been put on the table. I lead him to the table; pull the chair for him to sit.

"This place is so wonderful. Why you haven't brought me to here before this?" he is asking with half sulking tone.

"I reserved it for better event like today's date." His smile becomes large and blushing.

I give him the banquet and his eyes glistering with tears when he spots the red velvet box among the flower. "Do... this..." He is stuttering when open the box.

"Yes it is." I take the box and place the ring into his ring finger. I glad that he had pulled off his previous wedding ring. Now, my ring is the one that decorates his slender ring finger. I kiss the ring on his ring finger as single tears meet his ring.

"Thank you, Munchkin, for accepting me again, for willing to be my mate and husband." He brings my hand to his lips, placing the soft kiss on there.

"I also wanted to thank you for everything you did to chase me. You never ending effort and undying love despite my jerk habit had melted the futile revenge in me. Moreover, being close with you had open all the sealed memories from the past. I'm sorry for only blame you when what we having in the past not really the fake. We had been loved with each other but the condition had blinded our hearts. I love you, Ivan. You're my first and last love." He smiles so charm that I want to kiss his lips but the table block me.

"Can we start eating now?" Loud growling stomachs accompanied us once the word passes my lips. Rylan laughed is contagious.

I pour us the red wine and we toast with the natural music playing behind us. After that, we start eating with small talk about the future. Rylan feels insecure how to be my mate and leading this big pack. I just ensure him that everything will becoming nature when he start the task. He said he would try to be the best partner of mine.

We dance using the music from the phone. He was surprised that I can sing very well that can pass the singing contest. When I feel that his legs start sway, I take as a cue that we need to back to our home. On our way back, we take Allen. The boy also half-asleep and clutch me tightly when my father passed him to me. That night we take Allen to sleep with us to prevent any out of questionable activity.

"Why not you are going to bed first? I will join you after finished some my business."

"No, I want to accompany you first." He plops beside me. "By the way, what was bothering you all day long? I know you're hiding something from me." Rylan asks me with no hide the facts anymore face.

"Let speak the matter tomorrow because I don't want to ruin today feeling yet." I bite my lips hopefully he will stop the topic.

"I want to know now and it had passed midnight, so we have been in the new day." He cleverly said. I take a deep breath, hate to destroyed today mood.

"Are you want to be a werewolf?" His eyes showing the total shocked. See, I really don't want to break the news.

"What do you mean? Alfred said that it is just a myth to convert human to supernatural race."

"Because he is not your real mate and never exposed the like case. Just forget the matter because we never know if I can convert you or not." I had given up the idea.

"I know you're upset if I reject the idea. But, believe me, I want too because I jealous when seeing you or other guys having a great time in wolf form." He hugs me with excitement. "So, if that have a probability that I can shift too?"

"I can't confirm it yet but Ralph said that you're in process to shift. He will come tomorrow after lunch and take some test to confirm it. He said the process is slow because I am not completely mark you yet. I scared if you object and leave me because that is the case. "I take him into my hug and place butterflies kiss around his neck, the place where I completely put my mating mark.

His body is shuddering when the kiss landed on his tender skin. How is his wolf looking like? What is the color? I don't care how it looks as long as this man will live with me until the end. I don't want to feel those pains again. I don't to be those feelings of losing precious belonging and loneliness. I don't want those sympathize and pity again. Simply say, I don't want to walk those dark and lonely road. Once was enough to teach me.

"You will age faster if keep frowning let that." Rylan press his finger to ease the frown. A big yawn passes his lips, making his eyes glassy. However, he refuses to go to bed without me. I surrender and take him in bridal into our bedroom.

Rylan is a fast asleep, so when I put him down, he closes his eyes once wished me good night and flying kiss. God, I may dead before we are going to complete the mating ritual. I really hope that he in shifting process. I want to run and patrol the border together.

The chirping birds wake me from the dream with the beautiful sight of my mate and son cuddle together. My family will complete if Ernest also is here. I can't wait the day when we will be a complete family. Will Munchkin's stomach will be round with the pup? Will the miracle once again greet us? I slowly raise off from the bed but my attempt failed. My mate already awoke too.

"Good morning, Mr Wolf." He greets me in a singsong tone.

"Morning, dearest Munchkin." My reply making his ears goes reddish.

"Wanna join me for a bath?" I tease him a little.

"Too bad, I'm already taking one." I just notice that his hair slightly damp. Such an early bird he was.

"Why are you waking earlier? Last night we got to the bed so late." I stretch the stiff muscles.

"The dreamed that jolted me from sleep. I tried to digest all your words last night and act indifferent but the dream makes me think twice." I can tell that he had battled a lot question in his mind.

"It's fine if you don't want to convert to our kin. I also don't know if I have the ability to convert you and I refuse to let anyone else sink their canine on you." I tell him.

"Don't misunderstand, Ivan. I never want to go back to my word. I want to be one of your kin too, but I just scare if I can't make it." I engulf him in my hugs and rain a few kisses on top of his head.

"Munchkin, no matter who you are, human or new shifted, my love for never flattery. You're the center of my life. Don't worry too much, okay?" He nods but shifted his eye to our son. "Why not you prepare the breakfast?" I know the cooking stuff will calm him better than any word.

"Okay." He kisses my cheek and gets the towel and fresh clothes for me.

The morning passed with chatting and some idle stuff. Oddly, Allen didn't back to his room but stay here. Maybe he starts to recover from that bad experience. He also helps his father in the kitchen. I smile to small progressed he had taken. Slowly but it is fine because he will get us to back up when he meet the bumpy road again.

Ivan, your cousin and his mate just step into our border. Want me to send him to your office or your house? – Terrance informed me.

Get them to my house. – I order him.

Roger, Alpha. – I close the mind link once he replied. Around five minutes, they arrive at my house.

"Hi, how are you, Ivan." Kai asked me with a big grinned.

"Fine." I groan but invite them to come inside the house. Both of them greet my mate and son but Allen scurried away and hide behind Rylan.

"Sorry, he is still feared around adults." I tell them.

"Don't worry, we understand." Ralph speaks with sad eyes. I know Kai had a little conversation through the mind link. They took the love seats while I grab Rylan to sit beside me. Rylan shuffles in his feet and avoid from face Ralph.

"Sorry for taking your time. Hmm, where are your children? Wish I can introduce them to mine too." I begin the conversation.

"They were at my parents' house including the young one." Ralph said.

"You're lucky, Kai, because in more or less six years you will be free from the alpha task."

"And, I can bring my beloved mate around the world." He added with smugly smirk.

"Hmm, Ralph, I... mmm... I'm sorry for being rude to you a few times." Rylan suddenly apologizes startle us.

"It's okay, bud, I mean I'm also sorry for butted into your personal. However, it was not completely your fault when we deemed to this dick lineage as a mate. I think the curse of rejection is always running in their blood. I pray my children didn't have to through the same thing as us." Ralph jab Ivan that earn 'ouch' sound.

"That hurt, cousin. I don't know that you're also having a feisty mate too." Ralph glares toward my direction and burst when Rylan hit my chest.

After a few minutes wasting the time with jokes, Ralph get off from Kai's side. He walked to us with golden eyes. Ivan just puts the finger to his lips as a signal for us to keep silent.

Ralph kneels in front us and put his forehead on my mate. Cedric didn't like the way Ralph too close to our mate as well Kai's wolf.

"Under my lineage name, Silver-Sheridan, I command whomever down inside of this human to answer me." Glows light cover them until Ralph parted their forehead. Ralph plopped beside Kai. I wipe off the sweats covering my mate temple when he still in a daze.

"So, how is it, Blake." Kai asked his mate.

"Positive... he is in shifting process. Ivan, you need to complete the mating soon and guide him to shift. I will register his shifting under me and hope everyone here will seal the secret into the grave. Give me the list of elders who will attend your ceremony. I need to divert their attention as well."

"How many days it will be before he shifting?" I asked.

"Roughly one week. The half-hearted mark will only lead to death or deformed." I hug my mate when we snap our attention to Ralph.

"Why I can turn him?"

"Because your wolf and you unconsciously have the same wills when your canine sink into his neck, precisely the place when you will put your mark. It rare case but it can trigger to turn someone to our side. And, for the alpha who does it will face a heavy punishment that they rather die than alive." Ralph or I will call Blake as his eye still golden.

The silent engulf us the moment we process each word muttered by Blake. The room down to silent as Kai was hugging his mate.

"If I never attempted the suicidal it wasn't messed up like this. I hate to involved innocent people." Rylan speak to us.

"The damaged already done... what can we do now is move forward. Don't worry too much because my great mate will solve the problem in a blink of an eye." Kai word makes Ralph chuckle and successful breaking the tensed.

"Yeah, don't worry too much because we have a vampire king to back up my ass too." Ralph says making us grimace except Kai who laughter badly.

"Sorry, Munchkin. I need to speed up the ceremony earlier than we decided earlier." I say to my love one. It is lied if I say I didn't hurt when seeing a flash of doubt in his eyes.

"Okay... I agree." He is getting up to the kitchen after we heard a beeping sound from the oven.
