Cedric POV

I feel the true bliss when eyeing my mate who engrossed in some sort horror movie. He did not scream or shock by the eerie audio. However, as a wolf I can hear his heartbeat erratically beating over some suspense scenes. He leans on my body until the movie ended.

How should I describe this feeling? Oh, it is like a dream came true. I always and always wish that one day I can hug and embrace him under his willingness. It was true when I had taken him with the same wished long ago, but then everything under the mating pull and his heat condition. Then, my stupid human used a witch potion erased all his memories.

Speaking of him, I had forced him into hibernate mode when I want to take over this body. He desperately begs and pleads me to let him soothe our sulking mate. But, I won in the end when his emotion trembles with the sight of our mate. Serve him right!

I won't sit and let him do the same thing again. Rylan is my mate too, so we share fifty percent per person to pacify our mate. What I saw was his failure during those days. I know his pure regret and the blooming love that keeps increasing each time his sight fall on our mate. But it is still not enough to cure our wounded mate.

The worst came worst when we found he tried to commit suicide. I fell all blood drained from my body watched his unmoving body. If we late two second my mate may have been departed from this world, leaving us completely broken. At that time, our sad and scared feeling together as one. We barely could walked and taken the motionless body to our embrace. All the thought leaving our mind as it become blank.

"Ce... ric... Cedric. Geez! What's going on?" A gentle hand is caressing around my neck. I hide my face at his neck. "Why are you crying?"

Sorry... I am sorry for stupid human me that allow you suffered too much in the past. I promise we will monitor you closely starting now and atone all of our faults. That if one day you can forgive us wholehearted. For now we just feel contain if you can let us stay beside you. - I said to him through the mind link.

"Give me some more time. I'm sorry for the immature behaviour that caused many troubles to you as well to Allen too." His eye is glistening with unshed tears.

We are just imperfect being. - I caress his neck with my snout.

After that, Rylan yawns a few times before I suggest him to sleep. He uses my belly as a pillow while hugging my paw. The feeling is unrealistic, but the comfortable and electrical currents I keep receiving confirm that the feeling is real.

I feel Ivan consciousness stirring in my mind. I sigh when his restless hit me in full swing. As to make him feel worse, I deliberate showing him the chummy Rylan with me. That is his punishment for making that stupid rejection. He became gloomy, but the surprising thing is his jealously keeps increasing. I want to laugh upon his stupidity because he should know that Rylan belong to us. So, whatever other side doing is equal to serve for both parties anyway.

IVAN POV

I feel restless and jealousy when seeing Rylan is comfortable around Cedric. It may sound absurd as the wolf is a part of ourselves too. But I really can't help when the jealousy poison undertakes my heart. Why he can openly chummy with Cedric? They interact so friendly as Cedric smugly smile to me.

He won our mate's heart easily. The heart that always denied all affords I have made. I sighed in distress while thinking the next step to win my hardheartedly mate. As if reading my mind, Cedric erases his smug smile. I don't want his damn pity. He should know I am the fault one here. I had dragged him in this situation where we almost lose our mate for real.

I will feel more comfortable if Cedric keeps blaming me instead of feeling sympathize. I deserve it. I damn our own fate by the stupid rejection.

Hey stupid, stop being a damsel in distress. – Cedric shouts at me.

What? - I asked dumbfounded.

Your dark mood had affected me too. You should happy that our mate starts warming to us again. – He wolfish smiles.

Not us... only to you because I still am the biggest jerk in his life now and forever. – His guilt and sadness flood into me.

Good if you know your own value. - He smirks.

What? You are not supposed to agree with me. You should have helped me out from this self-degrading. – I am pouting.

I afraid my human side is not some sissy girl that waiting a sugar coat word. - He flips our consciousness.

Hey, Rylan will be angry if he notices we have switched places. - I try to grab an attention of the hard-headed the wolf of mine.

Why? Have you shifted into a scared cat? Shame me. – His laugh is a contagious that successfully wipes the dark seed in my mind.

Since when have my wolf switch with werecat? – I provoke him

Since my human side is running with the tail in between his legs. By the way good luck, Ivan. - He immediately disappears from my mind. Such a jerk wolf.

I gently touch the sleeping Rylan. His face is serenity and carefree like he never encounter any hardship in his life where I am the main caused. He stirred up while I am feeling nervous to the core waiting his amok.

"Good Morning, mate." I copy the way Cedric will greet our mate. The greeting seems like have please our mate mood.

"Good Morning too." A yawn escapes his lips. His eyes still thick with the sleepy effect. "Sorry for used you as a pillow."

"Nah, it's okay. So, what you want for breakfast, munchkin." Shit the pet name passes my lips unconsciousness. Why I am so clumsy when Cedric had use the hard way to get through our mate thick wall?

"Anything is good. Or just let me prepare it. But, you need to wait because I need to take a bath first before rummage the kitchen." He flashes a bright smile that makes my heart beat so fast.

"It is okay... I can prepare it for us. Mmm, can Allen join us too?" I test the water when he ignores the first slipped word from me.

"Yeah, I'm planning to do that as well. It had been so long since the last time we breakfast together." Rylan grabs the new towel from the closet and heading to the bathroom.

Myra gets Allen to my mate's bedroom. He will breakfast with us. – I asked the omega to get Allen.

Okay, Alpha. - She responded.

I get up and going to the kitchen. Fortunately, it was stocked because I had predicted Rylan won't set his foot into the dining hall. I take a few slices of bread, eggs, bacon, and salads. I start preparing a simple breakfast and hopefully it can please my mate appetite.

Not long after Rylan's fresh scent drift to my nose. I smile while turning to face him. He was dressed up in white V-neck shirt and black jeans. The monochrome color is truthfully suiting him. He peeks the thing I had prepared.

"May I add a few more food? The thing you prepared not enough to placid Allen's stomach." He gets out some more ingredient that one of them to make a cheeseburger. "Maybe he takes lots of my trait. That's why he never settles down with normal serving."

"Don't say it like that. As a werewolf, he already had given a bottomless stomach. Don't worry because that is a normal thing in werewolf aspect." I want to hug him, but restrain myself, knowing that he still barely can accept us.

I left the kitchen when hears a small knock at the door. Allen's gloomy face appears soon in the door. He evades my gaze and going straight to the kitchen. I follow him only to watch that he had hugged Rylan tightly. He flinches when Rylan touches his shoulder blade.

"Are you hurt, baby?" He gently questions our son.

"I'm too careless and fell down." He said. Why nobody report to us about this thing?

"When? And why you keep a secret from us?" He sternly asked Allen.

"I don't want to bother you and the hurt almost heal." He shrugged when Rylan put his down.

"Allen no matter what, you must report to us. You're our priority and treasure." My heart swells with happiness when he uses the 'us' term. At least he starts includes me in our child's life.

"You're our responsibility. And for that reason you never bother us. So, if anything happens, either big or small, night or day, just let us know, okay?" I pat his head.

Allen bit his lips before sitting on the chair. He dangles the legs while eyeing us prepares the food. This is what I want all along. My mate and child are together in one space. How much have I long this moment.

"The food almost burn..." I back to reality when an electrical spark spread from my left arms. "Geez, it is dangerous to daydreaming while cooking."

"Sorry..." I grab him in my embrace. "Tell me this isn't a dream, right? You and our son are really beside me." I said in almost tears.

"It's real... Allen and I are here now." He pats my back softly.

A small hand tugs my pants. "Dad, we are here. Stop crying... the pack members will misunderstand that papa had bully you again."

Rylan wipes off my tears and the heat creeping across my face when I am facing my mate and son. They give me a warm smile while Allen led me to the table. Allen back to his game again while eating the grape. Sometimes, he makes the funny face when bite the sour grape.

People said that you would at the peak of strength when staying beside your true mate. But, for me the effect was an opposite. I became super weak and cry baby since they are back to my side. A harsh word can make my heart bleeding deeply. A sad and pure affection gesture makes my tears flow like the broken dam.

Damn, I won't survive for another second if they decide to leave me now. God, please don't take them from me for the second time. I willing to disguise as Cedric forever if that can pacify our mate, making him willing to stay with us. I had lost the privileged as his mate when I committed the rejection. I had made my own wolf suffered because of the selfish self of mine.

Stop makes a gloomy face again. - Cedric's voice is booming in my head.

"You should continue sleep if you keep dreaming like this." A whispering close to my ear make my heart almost jump out from its place. Allen and Rylan burst into fits of laughter.

"It is time for eat, Ivan. Don't daydreaming again." He said that almost make my eyes out from its saucer.

"What? How?" my mouth form 'o' shape.

"When Cedric emerges your eyes will turn amethyst while the normal you is an electric blue." He shrugged before take a toast into his plate.

"Hmm, have you forgiven me?" I'm hoping his answer is yes.

"Still in probation period..." I saw a mischievous glint inside of his clear eyes. "I want to look around your territory."

"Me too." Allen added.

"Okay, I will be your guide today." I can't stop from grinning like an idiot when facing both of precious person in my life. I think it is okay if I didn't bring Ernest for today territory tour because Allen seems displease by his presence.

After finishing breakfast, Rylan goes to Allen's room to dress our son in a suitable clothing. I back to my room to take a bath and dress up in more comfortable clothing hopefully can seduce my mate's eyes. We meet at the downstairs as they are fidgeting when the pack members giving a curious stare.

Don't make them uncomfortable. – I said to the pack members from scrutinized my mate and son. They quickly turn to another direction.

"Ready for exploring my territory?" Both father and son quickly nod their head at the same time.

I bring them to all the facilities and introduce them to the top brass. Terrance still reluctant to let Rylan wander around the facilities, as we still don't know where is his loyalty lay on. I just brush him aside because my gut keep whispering that he will never betray our pack.

Lastly, I bring him and our son to the farther waterfall. Allen very excited with the view and shift into his wolf form. He trot and run around the field of flower and jump into the water, playing with the fishes and butterflies. This is the first time I see him very happy since the day he stepped into my pack ground.

"He is starting to revert back to his old self. Thank Goddess..." I hear Rylan low whispering. I press my hand on him.

"Yeah, I want to watch his true self. I swear I will be a great father to him." We take sit near the riverbank, closely watching Allen bouncing from one stone to another stone.

"Hopefully, time will cure his trauma. How is the therapy session going on?" He asked me.

"Totally failed. Allen didn't get along with his doctor. He completely blocks the doctor from entering his domain of thinking." I tell him.

"Thought so... that kid really good at hiding his true self. Since he shifted, it is becoming a lot harder to take glance what he hides in his heart. But, I'm glad that he got a very protective wolf." Rylan smile and waves his hand toward our son.

"Thank for giving me another chance." I said following his eyesight.

"Not really... you are still probation period." He repeated the earlier statement again.

"That is okay for me as long as I can have you and our son close to me." I replied him.

"Stupid! Ivan, I know I'm being selfish here. But, as long as I'm alive, Alfred still forever an important figure in my life. I can't forget him and you can't replace his place in my heart. Nothing changes even after you have complete the mating ritual. Are you okay with that condition?" He stares straight into my eyes as if to search the sincerity in my replied.

"Nobody wants to share the heart of their beloved with somebody else. Moreover, compete with the dead person. Besides that, I never intend to replace somebody too." I sighed when getting up from the comfortable shade of a tree.

"Then, it means we can just stay as a friend. Thank for an honest an answer." I chuckle when I sense the disappointment in his replied. He is walking near the river.

I encourage myself to embrace the sulking figure front me. "I don't mean that I will give up even though someone else still rooting in your heart. I mean to set my own fundamental in the core of yourself, embedding myself higher in you than anyone else does. I may not the first person who stolen your heart, but I swear I will be the last person who stay as your lover for the eternity. That is my goal."

"Are you sure? I may swap to another man anytime." He is testing.

"I won't restrain your freedom is you really love that person. But, before you go to his side please fulfill my last wish." I sway our body together.

'What is it?" he said in a small voice.

"Kill me with your own hand because I won't stand to witness your happiness with someone else. I may go mad and kill your new family if you let me alive." I tighten my hand around his slender waist.

"Stop crying, Ivan. It is just what 'if' question. I know I am being hard to you... but I am now working to build up our relation. I try to move on from the self-pity and revenge that take us to nowhere. I try to change my view on you... I am in mostly in trying now. So, I beg you to give me some more time to make a complete change." He turns around and hides his almost tearing face in my chest

I slowly patted him whilst Allen trots to us. He caresses Rylan's pants with concern. "Don't worry munchkin. You can take how much time you want sweetheart. I will waiting you for an eternity. You are allowed to be selfish and demand with me. I want to make up for everything."

"Than... thank... you." He said with a shaky voice. Then the unexpected thing happens, he planted his lips on me. The lips that tastes salty from his shedding tears. After brief of time, we parted away. He gives me the teary smile, but it really genuine.

"You're welcome, Munchkin. Wanna take a lunch here?" He is nodding and evading faces me by burying his face on Allen's wolf body.

Myra, ask the warrior to send lunch, fresh towels, and clothes to us. We will head back around 08:00 p.m. or so. – Myra noted my message. After that, I am blocking mind link because I want to spend my precious time with family.

In the short time, Rylan becomes friendly with the deliver warriors. They are the young warrior that still in the training period. I watched how they curious asking Rylan about various things.

Later the warriors excuse themselves when detects my annoyed mood. Rylan set the food and order Allen to shift back. Allen was coming to us with happy wolfish grinned. He shifts in front Rylan. Rylan takes the towel to dry Allen wet hair.

Allen growling stomach makes us burst into a fit of the laughter. He is sulking. But, still eyeing the food on the mat. Rylan gives him the plate where he scoops anything that he desire first. Rylan just shakes his head looking at our little boy. This is the first time I am seeing Allen so free since he was here.

Rylan gives me a plate full of food too. He just smiles while gesture to our boy. It is true that after us through the shifter phase, our hunger becomes insatiable with the normal serve. Allen eating behaviour is normal in our kind.

"Look like, Allen inherit my bottomless stomach." Rylan speaks.

"It is normal because as a shifter we really have bottomless stomach. A normal serve can't amend our hunger at all." I said.

"Thank goodness that he will never get fat." I notice a slightly sadder in his tone. A guilty eating me from inside of my heart.

"Sorry..." He just gives me a smile before concentrating on his food.

We rest a few hours after finishing the lunch. Allen was sleeping soundly on Rylan's laps while Rylan is himself lean on my shoulder. His eyes glued on the clear river water in front our eyes.

"Wanna take a bath with me?" A red tinted appear in his skin.

"But Allen is sleeping." He tries the avoid it.

"Put him in here..." I had bundled our clothes as a makeshift pillow for resting Allen's head. I take Allen from his lap and put our boy on it.

After that, we are undressing to the last piece of fabric on our body. The desire inside me was stirring badly when eyeing the sexy mate that was equipped by only the black tight briefs. My eyes can't stop from crawling around his bare skin. My heart swells with pride when I saw the half mark I forcefully put on him and the stretched mark around his stomach. His face was totally red like a ripe tomato. His shyness is precious. As to respect him, I decide to swim with briefs too. I lead him into the river water.

He gasps when his feet touch the water. We saw the fishes swimming around our feet. Some tried to take bite on our skin. I slowly grab him into the deep area before both of us are going to under water. I back to the surface when my lung begins lack of an oxygen.

But, Rylan nowhere in my sight. My heart starts to thump in worried when a splash of water sounds behind me. I take out a relief sighed.

"Wow, you can hold a long breath underneath the water." I close to him.

"Yeah, I like swimming because it gives me full freedom." He smiles back before turn another direction with red ears.

I hug him from the behind, shamelessly letting him feel the building hard bulge in my briefs. His body still for the second, but he didn't resist my hand that caresses around his stretched marks. Unfortunately, I can't see what his reaction right now,

"It is ugly, right?" He whispers slowly that I doubt a human can hear it.

"No, contrary this marked making my heart filled with higher happiness and pride. It is marked that you have given me the treasurer that can't be traded with any wealth in this world." His line of sight follows my pointed finger to our son that sleeping soundlessly under the shady tree.

I turn him to face me when I feel his body slightly shaking. The sight of his tearing eyes makes my heart filled with the sadness. Have I said something wrong? Did I say the hurting words again? Have I.... I don't know the correct matter. I lick his tears and kiss both of his eyes.

"Have I done anything wrong again? Why I always make your crying? Please tell me... I don't want seeing you to shed any tear anymore. I want to give you a fullest happiness." His lips open and close, but no word was coming out from it.

"Hmm sorry... I didn't mean to cried again. In fact, I feel enough with being a damsel in distress. It has just happened out of my control." He harshly wipes the remaining tears.

"Shh, we will take a baby step to build up a future together. No more tears, no more sadness. The baby steps that promising an everlasting happiness." I sway our half-naked bodies together.

"Papa... papa." The little voice makes us parted quickly. Rylan hurriedly goes to the bay. However, it was too late for him to cover up the hard inside of his briefs. So, he really got aroused from getting close to me. I can't detect the arousing scent because the water. I smirk triumph in my way to get dressed again.

"Hi guys, wanna watch the most beautiful sunset?" I said to get their attention. Both father and son nod their head.

Now what is the point to get dressed if I need to shift later? I stop from zipping the pants and kick it from my legs. They give me a question look upon my action. I just dismissed them by getting on fours before the cracking bones sound filled their ears. The furs grow out of my skin and in second I fully in wolf form. I shake my body and challenge my son to do the same as well. Allen quickly shifts before Rylan scold him about the shredding clothes.

Get onto my back. – I said to Rylan through the mind link. He is giving me a wary look before getting in my back.

After that, we slowly trot through the thick green foliage. The run gets slow because Allen keeps distract by the thing that attract his curiosity. Allen may have shifted earlier than any kid around his age, but without doubt his wolf still a pup. In addition, as the pup, they always feed by curiosity and adventure instinct.

At last, we reach on the hill peak. Rylan get off my back, stretching his back while indulged with the virgin green. This forest is still free from human destruction. Allen sits beside me while Rylan begins to awe the dark orange that painting across the horizon chest of sky. The contrast color between the hue of orange and red with the fade blue had set an ethereal view that captured our heart. It brings the serenity and tranquillity to our heart and mind.

The day I found this spot, I am always thinking to bring you at least once here. I want to share this magnificent view with my beloved mate. – I nudge his shoulder with my snout.

"Thank you... it so beautiful. Wait, that means you never bring your ex-wife here?" He is eyeing me.

Nope, that woman loved the human world instead natural view. - I nudge him to get onto my back again once the darkness had completely blanket the scenery. He gets onto my back with a big smile plastered on his face.

We get to race back to the pack house. What shocked me is Allen getting faster than I am. His paws are so light touching the soil. That is the best trait to stealth one movement. According to Cedric, our boy just uses half of his speed. I can feel Rylan nervous and shaking whenever I am taking the sharp turn.

Finally, we reach the pack house with many eyes fall onto the man on my back. He is getting down, ignoring the curious look by the pack member. Allen gets to Rylan feet without any intention to shift yet. I had noted that Allen hate to be shift naked around other people. He became panic if people stare when he shifted.

When I rescued him, I can confirm that the rogue has not rape him even when he was naked at that time. Hold on. Have they molested him? My blood is boiling by that idea. I decide to keep the thought to myself until Allen can get out from his traumatic. Rylan opens the door for us. We are going into our floor and Rylan had disappeared behind Allen's bedroom door.

I shift and get into my room. I take a quick shower and dressing up. My mind still lingers in probability the idea of the Allen true condition in rogue's hand. There was a clear fact that Allen hates and wary with adult presence and sudden touch. The soft knock from walk in closet had stopped my mind from running wilder.

"What do you want to eat for dinner?" He said when I open the door.

"Anything... I don't really care as long as it is not burden you." He just nods slightly and eyeing my penthouse.

"This is not the room where I lived with my ex-wife. This is my room since I reigned as Alpha but I never bring anyone here except you and our sons." He faces bright slightly.

He steps into the kitchen area and begin to get out the ingredient from the fridge. "Excuse me for using your kitchen. You had better accompany Allen as I cook. And you can get your son to join dinner too."

"I think it is better if only the three of us dinner together. Allen still is not warming around Ernest yet." I sigh when thinking the reaction between my sons. I need to resolve the problem between them soon.

I get Allen into my room. He wears blue pajamas. Rylan shooed us away when we become a nuisance to his movement. How much I long this day to happen. The truly bliss to outing and dining with my own mate and son that I think I have lost them for good.

"Why are you crying, dad?" A little finger brushes my cheeks.

"Are you okay? I keep calling you, but getting no response." I hug two persons in front me without shame. No word could describe my feeling right now.

"Please... please don't leave me alone again. I promise I will do anything to satisfy both of you. I will di..." My word stopped by heating yet gentle lips. He uses the free hand to cover our son's eyes.

"We are not going anywhere unless you're the one who expel us from your life." He is staring straight into my eyes.

"Dad, please don't speak about dead again. I hate the word." The Little hand is holding mine too. I nod and again taking them into my own. Allen gets from us and switches the television on. He watched them while laying onto the recliner.

"If you feel so much insecure, how about if I move into your room starting tonight?" he whispered caught me off guard.

"What did you say?" I ask in disbelieve.

"Can I move in with you?" He rephrases in short sentences.

"Yes, yes, you can." I sweep him off his feet. His sweet laughter filled the kitchen.

"Still, you are in probation period." I groan while he got in another laughter. I put his down when the oven giving the beeping sound. Gosh, I really love this feisty mate of mine.

Hi guys sorry for long awaiting this chapter. I got a few mistakes and misfortune in process written this chapter. One of those mistake were forgot to save the completed chapter, so I need to re-do again. Then, my laptop decides to 'sick' and can't switch on for whole one week. That was the great first month experience in New Year.
