IVAN POV

This is the fucking karma land me with an unexpected news. The one I always thought was dead now happily play the most happiness husband. Their happiness stung my heart badly. Now, I know, why my wolf never goes berserk or dead.

Our mate not dead yet, was marked by another person, nonetheless by an alpha too. It was clear as a bright day, the happiness was displayed on his face. Their intimated gesture stabbed me to death, worse is he never recognize who I'm.

But it's not entirely his fault, I'm the one who makes him suffer, make him forgotten who I'm and used him like a cum dumpster. Who am I to judge another person who just strives to find a true happiness? The man, another wolf is making his life blissfully.

I had lost count how many whiskey bottles I had empty. My stomach starts to churn in a burning sensation. I think I had passed my alcohol limit, my focus starts swirling too.

"God, are you trying to become alcoholic? How many days you've wasted like this? For Goddess sake, you're an Alpha, Ivan." Terrance collects the laying bottles on the floor.

"So, what? Are you ashamed for having a drunkard as an Alpha?" I laugh like a crazy person.

"What the nonsense you spurt now?" Terrance grabs the bottle in my arm, but I refuse to give to him.

"Leave me alone. I don't need anyone pity.... I just want my mate." Tears make its way across my cheeks.

"Ivan, I know you're missing your other half, But we can't revive the dead one. We may a supernatural but it's beyond our capable." Terrance cups my face gently.

"Why I let him go.... Why I'm so stupid to make his crying that day.... Why I do reject him for empty love?" I sobbed on his shoulder by now. I ignore the other presence in the room.

"You're strong Ivan... and if I'm inside his shoe, I would never like to see you sunk in miserable. He must wish to see you always life to fullest. " Terrance word making my heart sink into bottomless sea. You're wrong Terrance... he never know who am I. I rejected him before he learn the truth and chosen a wrong person. It was my fault, my truly fault.

"You're wrong... I never could take him inside my embrace again. He really hates me... so much hate me." I blurted the last sentence built up in my daze mind.

"No mate would stay hating his other half, son. We are sorry for forced you to get married. We never know you had found your mate." My father patted my head.

"Yes, son, true mate never could hate you." My mother added. No. They do not understand it all.

"It's fucking late... he had been owned by another person. He was leading a happily married with someone else." I dropped bomb on their ears. The room fell silent.

"Aren't your mate already dead?" Mum said curiously.

"He is still alive, mum. I saw him with another man, his husband, and his new mate. The man had marked him as his own." I couldn't restrain the tears from bloating up from my eyes. I feel unashamed to show them my weak self.

"It can't be, son... the other should know, your mate doesn't belong to him. Just confront and explain it themselves." Dad frowns when saying it.

"No, dad, I had lost my every right the second I rejected and left him for meaningless love. I had insulted him so badly, that is no ways for me atone back."

"Son, no matter what happen in the past, both of you could never separate by mere love. I'm sure he will run back to you once his discover you're his loved one." Dad cooed me. They don't know what I had done to Rylan, they don't know I have used him to release the pent up lust.

"No, dad, It'll never be same, I take him in hypnosis, I take him against his better judgement then I simply erased and throw him out of my life." I confess to them. My mum face goes pale. Terrance and dad completely shocked by the truth.

"But it's still wrong for a werewolf to take another werewolf mate." Terrance mutters slowly.

"The world will become better if it's easy like a word." I surrender in defeat before completely fade into black.

"Daddy, wake up. Daddy..."

Ernest voice makes my head throbbing so hard. It was a side effect from last night over drunkard. I couldn't remember everything or make sense of it. A soft knocks bouncing loudly in my head.

"Take this to easy your throbbing head." Mum gives me two painkillers and a plain water before usher me to take a bath. It was strange why my mum become so gentle and soft. I shudder what I had done this time for earning her angel side.

I take a bath for almost one hour, easy the drunkard side effect and dressing in clean clothes. Since, the day Kayla left me, my room becomes like my single life again. I had ordered the omega to throw away all the things belonging to Kayla and stop from pursuing her.

Kayla was mad when I questioned her about her true mate. We had a big fought that I bet everyone from the pack house could heard it. She had a nerve to put a lie again when I asked her using an Alpha authority. But then her acting fell apart when I mentioned her mate currently had taken new mate and happily leading a true happiness life. Her face got pale and a sadness blinded her eyes.

Serve her right. She should have to suffer as mine for being selfish too. Both us were losing what could described as a gem because our ignorant self. And, then she fled away in the middle of the night without any trace. The search party tried every source to locate her but failed. Ernest cry over his mother disappeared but then calm down after my parents cooed him.

Then the thought about Ernest not my real son come to mind. I mean after discovering Kayla true mate everything fell into right place. The resemblance between Ernest and Terrance was answered. He was actually Terrance nephew. The half dominance Beta blood also was a solid proof. I didn't have any heart to break a news to Ernest nor Terrance. I simply lock the new discovered truth inside myself. I believe both Ralph and Kai nerve said whatever question or an answer they hold.

Ernest will forever be my real son no matter if the pack member learns the truth later. Nobody could question his blood in my presence. The kid already dragged into my messy relation. I couldn't break his an innocent soul with truth. He doesn't deserve it.

Kayla may or not alive isn't my problem anymore. For one, she betrayed had caused a big damaged to us and it involves an innocent people in the process. The past had given me a very precious lesson whereas I had hurt so many hearts and losing my precious mate.

An opportunity for me to get him is zero. I don't have the heart to break their happy life and I doubt that man so stupid to let go such a precious gem. Another thing is their kid piqued my inner interest and in fact, the powerful Alpha aura reeks from that small frame.

I would love to have his son as our own pup. – Cedric suddenly interjects my thought.

I doubt they will let us. – I sighed in frustrated.

I love that kid already - Cedric whining inside my mind.

I feel a heavy defeated run through my vein. I couldn't erase the happiness display by my mate and his kid. I feel so jealous, I wanted to kill the man so badly, wanted to take what is mine, and make him forget about his side love.

I regret for erased his memory, regret getting into meaningless married, loved someone who wasn't set as mine. Shit!

Kai and his mate word also lingered badly in my mind, carved a deep regret in my heart. How the most homophobic an alpha of the most homophobic pack could lead the great happiness just when he had accepted his fate for having a male mate.

From their story, Kai also makes a same mistaken as mine and suffered for ten years or so before he got back his precious mate, and almost losing for the second time. The most miracle part was when his pack also welcomes his mate and become stronger than ever.

On the other side, I the one who never disgusted by homosexual term, having a lot friend from that side of people still thoughtless dumped my mate because he was a man. Blindly by someone's appearance without considering their true nature.

I walk to dining room, spots Terrance, my parents, and Ernest at the dining table. Theirs sympathize eyes fell on my figure that I shrugged walking to sit on my usual chair. I hate when detected a pity in their eyes. I fucking suffocated under their scrutinized eyes.

I know nobody wanna to fuck with my mess brain now. One positive thing is Cedric become healthy back with an excitement to take possession on his mate again and less as a jerk an alpha wolf.

"I wonder how your cousin has been lately." Mum breaks the silence in the room.

"He is healthy, blessing with the most powerful mate too, and lead and endless happy ending." I said reluctantly.

"We were knew Trisha is a good girl and strong." Dad added his two cent thought.

"Nope, dad, Kai was successful fooled all of us. The truth was his mate actually a man, a very powerful man that no one wishes to cross. Trisha not his real mate..." I chuckled. Ernest rushed out after his friend come to get him, giving us a space to chatting more.

"What?" They said I unison.

"What happen to his wife, child and who will continue an alpha line?" Mum said still in shocked state.

"Mmm.... The heir, right? I think he had enough of full set of pups to take over his work in a few more years." I mumble in between nibble the toasted bread.

"Nope, dad, he had four sons and one daughter plus his daughter from previous married." I reluctant answer them.

"How? Did he do a surrogate method?" Terrance suddenly wakes up from being an observant.

"Don't ask me how... it's complicated even for my brain to process it. It was out from logical as if Kai tried to fuck up my mind. Damn it!" I feel suddenly irritated.

"Why?" Mum asks again.

"Because all these five pups are processed both DNA, Kai and Ralph, it's insane to believe it, but according from their story, the children indeed were biological them without using any surrogate female. In other word, they could produce a child without the woman presence like normal mates." I sighed.

The unbelievable emotion was written clear over their face. I didn't detect any disgusted or insulted emotion in their mixed an emotion, it has been just a pure shocked. Maybe my face also was same when Kai blurted out about his child's origin.

I still clearly remember how Kai fell into a fitted laughter followed up by his mate smug face. The story was unheard but I knew in the bottom of my heart it real and Kai wasn't a type of man who coating his word with lying.

"Shit!" I gasped when suddenly realized something.

"What?" All occupants in the room ask me.

"Then the child with my mate may or not was mine. I had slept with him countless time, without using any protection because he is male." I said like a stupid person.

"You're seriously bought by their story, son? They must have made up some story to sway your thought. After all Kai like messing with your mind." Dad's eyes met mine.

"But they were really serious. If you couldn't believe you're free to call his parents to confirm it." I glance over them and continue; "Terrance, gather everyone for training now."

Terrance seems unfocused, a sign he had commanded our warrior through mind link. I excuse myself to avoid any further question from them.

It's not the time to idle around, thinking about something that could cloud my mind more that it has. Terrance shows me unsatisfied face during the training hours. He wanted to know more, wanted me to open myself to him like in the past. We train until the sunset, Terrance grabs my arm on our ways back home. Forcefully dragging me into the Alpha office.

"Ivan, tell me who owned your mate? We may can put talks with him about the matter. And as a fellow alpha he should know the crucial fact about it." Terrance starts talking.

"Please understand, buddy. I've lost the right a long time ago." I cover with faint laugh.

"Don't try to lie, Ivan. This isn't like you at all. The old Ivan was fiercer in taking whatever he belongs. Don't tell me you have lost your canine over the time." Terrance mocks me.

"Argh? What do you mean, Terry? Do you want me to steal someone else husband? Do you like having a thief alpha?" I mock him back.

"Thief or not, he belongs to you from the beginning. Everybody make a mistake, Ivan, so don't degrade yourself too much. Last night you have shed tears you never show to anybody since our acquainted days. You know the hidden meaning?" Terrance eyes fill with sadness.

"Just show my pitiful and weak self." I still retort him.

"No, it means you're regretting everything you had done in the past. The sincere in your tears mean you're already fall in love with your mate since the day you met him. It's just your stubborn side to refuse accepting it." He words make my heart racing.

Told you so! - Cedric words boom in my head. Stupid wolf!

Shut up, stupid wolf. - He just laughs loud on my misery.

"But it already late..." I sighed frustrated.

"No but anymore, Ivan, move your fat butt and called the said alpha to arrange the discussion." Terrance said in amused grinned.

"Are you kidding me? He was damn happy with his current life." I said matter of fact.

"But only you could give him an ultimate happiness. And, if what you said true, the boy is our future alpha. We couldn't let him be raised by another pack. I believe your story and Kai not someone to make a humorless joke for serious matter." Terrance convinces me again.

"Let me clear my mind first, this is not a simple matter and it involves many hearts too." I said to him.

"Hope you would put a fast engine, Ivan, before they disappeared again." Terrance winks at me before close the door.

Make him as ours again, Ivan. - Cedric command me.

Not you too, Cedric, this is a complicated matter. – I shook my head.

However, I knew you too well, Ivan. It was you who baby him when we got into his room. That all your authentic feeling for each word you told on his face. You're so much relax and honest whenever you were beside him. - Cedric was so much an observant for being a wolf.

I slump in the leather seat. Rylan has changed a lot these past years. He wore a mature and confident self. Now I remember when Ralph said never underestimate the power of weak and human. Sometimes, they really put the stunt to make you stumble on your regret.

The boy had aroused the curiosity inside me. The lavender wolf's eye he possess resemble to Cedric. If Kai story was true than the boy may as well was mine. I also detected he face got slighted paler when the boy greeted me.

Wait a minute, I saw many of his weird an expression during that one time meeting. He wore a thousand emotions that he immediately covered with an instant business dealer. The way he looks me wasn't the impression you got on first time meeting.

The disgusted he showed before I stepped out of the restaurant mean him remember everything. Shoot, so he knew who am I and played dumb. I face palm myself when thinking it in clear mind. Why I'm so stupid to notice this very soon. So, how I need to claim him back when his memories has recovered.

I need to find Rita and ask for clarification. How he could break the spell was questionable to me too. I remember Rita said nobody could break it since the day the spell was invented. Rylan full of surprises, when I said he was weak, he turn out very strong, when I feel he very ugly he turn out to very refine handsome gentleman.

Now, I wonder whom the stupid one. The answer is me because I always make a false impression from outward appearance. Rylan has proven my thought was wrong. I have to claim him back no matter what price I must pay. It all began on my stupidity, handover him to someone else. I also need him to clarify the boy status too.
