Ivan POV

"Hey bro, thank you for attending today meeting. I'm apologizing for critic you the last time we met. How are your son and wife?" I know I had avoided to attend this an annual meeting, basically I felt so shame to face with Kai.

I'm relief when Kai back to himself. A strong powerful radiated from his body frame. Kai looks really different compare to when we were hanging out when his held a single title or the time he come to my wedding day. He smiles tell me how much happiness was blesses into his life. In silence, I still feel a strong jealous toward him.

"By the way, I'll introduce my mate and spouse to you later." Kai greets another alpha.

"Argh... You had forgotten too much big ass Alpha. I've met Trisha a few times already before your wedding day. Why need to re-introduce us again?" He led us into the meeting room.

"Secret Bro." He winks at me before step into the meeting room.

I walk inside and sit on my designated seat. We are waiting for the seat to be fills before start the meeting. I read a new three new packs name. They must be new founded pack and smallest. One thing that makes me weird is the vacant seat beside Kai chair. It's just state reserved. Our meeting rarely had guests from Wolf Council. I let my curious slip out because it all will answer in a few minutes later.

One by one, seat was taken after a few minutes, the one still vacant is beside Kai. Kai caught my eyes and smirk toward me as if he said be patience. He starts the meeting without waiting the last person.

Knock... knock... Knock...

The doorknob was being pulled after Kai said coming. It revealed the handsome young man maybe around our ages. The sincerely smile decorates his porcelain face. It is rare to spot the werewolf with porcelain skin because it should belong to another supernatural aka our nemesis, Vampire race.

"Sorry for my lateness." He bow slightly before proceeding to sit beside Kai. The most shock me when they perk each other lips. I can see Kai was shining with happiness. Some member was not shock by what they had witnessed.

"Did Will being naughty again?" Kai asks the mystery person.

"Yes... I should buy a shackle to strain his movement. I wonder whom genetic his inherit. And, Isabel I dunno what to say anymore." The new guy said with a smirk. Kai just smiles with the proud.

"Oh, Love, I need to introduce you to my close cousin. Ivan meets my beloved mate, Ralph. And, Love meets my cousin from my mum side, Ivan." Kai introduces us.

I feel confused because aren't his mate is Trisha or was he blessed with second mate? Second thing this pack was known as a homophobic pack, so why he was proud introducing his male mate. Lastly, the Kai I knew is straight like a pole. This must one of his old joke. But, if this is a joke he can't go to extend to kiss another man in public. Moreover, in front other alphas.

"We'll talk whatever question in your head after meeting is dismiss. Now concentrate on current issues. Please." Kai playful sentence sounds so strange compare to his past self. Whom the one who change himself so much?

"Okay, Mr. Alpha." I mock him back.

"Wait a second, why your mate joins our meeting too? Even if your partner is a man he doesn't have right to join our top secret meeting." Another alpha raises their question. The meeting start becomes noise. However, some of the alphas chuckle as if the question is so stupid.

"How, Love? Can I explain to them?" Kai asks his mate lovingly. His mate just shrugs his shoulder.

"Okay, my fellow alphas, as we know this meeting is top secret but my mate is actually a representative for his pack too. We decided not to conjoint our pack together." Kai nonchalant said.

"It's impossible because I remember all the alphas around US and they had assembled here. But, your mate not in any old or newfound packs." Another voices raise suspicion.

"Calm down, young Alpha. Sorry, Love, I think I can't keep it as secret judging many eyes full of curiosity." Kai speaks to his mate and us.

"It's okay, nothing to keeps as a secret if you trust them babe." Ralph replied him.

"Okay... if any stupid rumour spread after this meeting dismiss I swear on Moon Goddess I'll hunt every soul in this meeting room. Not one allow to alive." Kai harsh growl make all alphas wolf bare their neck to him. That is why I hate to meet with him. His mate caresses his hand gently to cool down his anger.

"Sorry... did you ever hear about the ancient powerful pack called a Silver Killer Pack. The truth is my mate from the said pack. They're hidden from us but in silence still watch every move in our society. Or should I say my mate had every right to join any meeting level in our society with or without invitation whether it is an alpha meeting or council meeting. He is our king." Kai said proudly.

Half of meeting hall an occupant shock by the news we just hear. I had heard about that legendary pack, but according the rumor the pack had been destroyed in Red Calamity Tragedy. Then, it disappears from our people life. My grandfather had said anyone who entitles as an alpha for Silver Killer Pack an automatically is our real king.

"This news may be a sudden to your ears but please keep it as a secret an erase it from your head as soon as you step out from this room. I'm more used to be treated as a common Alpha and had family to protect too." Ralph suddenly interjects the shock brain in the room.

"Shall we begin our meeting now?" Kai diverts an attention back to our purpose. My head not too much in the meeting room but gaze Kai's mate. He smiles when caught me staring him. After one and half hour, the meeting was adjourned.

Surprising, Kai's mate really intelligent and supplies us with many an important information. However, I dunno where he digs all the information. I can see a true happiness shone on the Kai face along the meeting course. Kai invite me to have a dinner with them.

"Why you so quiet today? The cousin I knew always causes the trouble." Kai cuddles his mate right after we finished the dinner.

"Because I greatly shock that you're gay, my dearest cousin." Noted my sarcasm.

"Oh, correction... Yes, I'm gay but only to my mate. Only he can stir my feeling and love." Kai said while nuzzling his mate's neck near his mark.

I feel jealous seeing how freely they show an intimate touch without any shame. Kai seems very happy with his love life compare when he with Trisha. If he could re-build a concrete relation with a male mate why I'm so stupid to reject my male mate. A guilty grips my conscience.

"I prefer to hear your story life than witnessing a loving scene." Both of them startled and Ralph sits beside Kai. They give an innocent smile.

"What happen to Trisha?" Both were tense and deep glints appear in both eyes.

"Die." Kai gives a stern answer.

"Argh, What? Why?" I said shocked by new I just heard.

"She betrayed the pack, attempted to kill my mate, and harmed my children." Kai gives a shorten clue. Judging from the way he behaves, I could say Trisha isn't a lovely topic in his current life now.

"Oh, that's new to me." I answer shortly.

"Yeah..." Kai had given a simple answer.

"Ralph, right? Hmm... how could you tamed this biggest homophobic an alpha?" Kai rolled his eyes.

"The power of love and everything happen according the Moon Goddess's will. We never force another person to love us, simply follow what our heart wanted. And, now we were in blissful haven." Ralph sincerely smiles.

"Love and mate can't provide everything. Sometimes, we must sacrifice it for our pack benefit." I bluntly said.

"Like someone I knew." Ralph gaze Kai an apologetic face.

"The truth was I'm also having same thought the time when I found out my mate is a man, a weak and defected werewolf. I rejected him merciless and humiliated him in pack ground. In a process, I lost a lot a thing that can't even could buy back by the wealth I have. The regret I'll have till the last breath." Ralph caresses Kai's hand to calm him.

"Why not you take Kayla and your son here?" Kai asks me. He wanted to change the topic.

"Kayla still undergoing the medical check-up and Ernest doesn't want to separate from his mother." I said sadly.

"That is so sweet. What happened to her?" Ralph asks.

"For now our pack doctor still investigate the cause. She frequently was fainted and sometimes walked in the sleep." I give a brief info.

There a lot happened in this five and half a years. Kayla is dropping into a depression and snarl to whomever who try approaching. Our pack members start to distant themselves from her. Ours married life fills with argument and disagreement. However, in the end, we still be one for ours son sake.

Cedric had lung Kayla disrespect attitude a few times. Sometimes, she was a proud wife and Luna, and then another time she will turn to be a devil, killing whenever girl or women who talked or approached me. Her paranoia has become worse lately.

The couple gives me a sympathized look. I never need this kind of treatment. My foolishness was the one gotten me into this shit situation. It will totally different is my mate still alive and the rejection never happened.

"Are you okay, Ivan." Ralph was hesitant to ask me.

"What happen to your real mate?" Kai sudden word splits my brain for a while. Ralph was eyeing him curiously.

"You know I had a mate?" I question him.

"Yes, I have known it since the day you collapsed on your biggest day. Where is the person now? How you control the urge to mark and claim your own mate, cousin." Kai gives a disdain look.

"I just can't bring myself to do it. I had a pack to protect, a parents to care, a lover at that time and heir to produce." I lower my eyes from meet their disappointed eyes. They must think me as a big coward right now.

"Are you kidding me, cousin? The pack never will disappoint and weak when they learn about their Luna, same goes to your parents. In addition, the lover is just your mere an infatuated for a moment because we are bonded to loving only one real person until the end, our mate." Kai shook his head.

"You don't understand anything, Kai. I know what you had said was true but sadly I'm not like you. You had brother to continue your line but I'm the only child my parent had.' I tighten my fist continue said; "And, my mate was long dead, the day I married Kayla. I couldn't reverse anything anymore. The opportunity path was close tightly for me."

"Sorry for my husband blunter word, we should change the distress topic, Ivan." Ralph smacked Kai hand.

Before I could reply him, a white-silver pup had jumped on their laps. Lick Kai's hand sweetly, and purr when Kai starts caressing around his neck. Ralph shook his head a few times, before pulling the pup's ear.

"What you had done this time, Will?" Ralph asks him sternly. The question makes the pup transform into naked three or four years boy with light blonde hair with translucent skin just like Ralph. Why could this tiny kid transform? It is not their ages to transform yet.

"I'm not doing anything wrong, daddy, papa." The kid tries to hide his mischievous smile. Kai glance meaningful toward his mate.

"Will, your father and I never taught you to be a liar. What your brother will think if they ever caught you lying? You're not in their proud brother list anymore." Ralph said still in sternly father mode.

"I'm sorry daddy. I never mean to make Isabel crying. I pour a water on her head when she refused to let me go. I want to play with my friend too." The kid was now sobbing in Kai arm. Ralph sighs before picking the boy from Kai arms.

"Baby boy, Isabel just wants to stick with you because you're her big brother and your age was not too different compare to your other brother. She adores you just as much as you adore you older brothers. Your papa and I love you and your sibling without any favouritism, we treat you all with equality." Ralph wipes the tears stained on his son' cheeks, kiss his forehead.

"Should we go to your sister?" Ralph said to his son. His son nodded weakly.

"Oops, sorry dad, papa... I think your meeting had done." A teenager girlish voice said bashfully while carrying a baby.

"Nah, it's okay, sweetheart, come here I gonna introduced you to my cousin. Julia, Will meet my cousin, Ivan Kendall." Kai said cheerfully.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Kendall." Both greet me with a sincere smile.

"Nice to meet you too, lady and gentleman." I said to them.

Kai takes a chubby baby from Julia's hand. If I ain't wrong Julia is a child of Kai previous married. The teen girl reeks with an omega scent over her compare to tremendous an Alpha aura from both boy and baby girl in Kai and his mate's arms.

"I'm sorry to trouble you to babysitter both naughty kids, sweetie." Ralph said.

"It's okay, daddy, they both my dearest sibling after all. And, if there is nothing else to do, I want to excuse myself." Julia politely excuse herself when both her parents given her a nods.

"I see your family become bigger, cousin." I said in awe. I want this kind of family too.

"Yeah, I had four boys, and two girls. Sadly, I couldn't introduce you with another three because they are on the training camp."

"Whoa, you adopted so many pups. I never knew the past bully bastard was a caring father." Kai just laughed hearing my comment.

"People will change with the times, cousin. For your correction, I never adopt any pups. They are biologically was Ralph and mine. Our biological kids... It may sound silly but the moon goddess had blessed us with a great gift to lets us could carry our own baby." Ralph face was slightly reddish when Kai revealed an illogical fact.

"Really? I mean it was out from human logical." I shook my head. Kai gets up from his seat, walked to his office room.

"I know this is out of normal logic, but it's true because the member in my family bloodline had mostly been paired with a male. Are you sure your mate really dies?" Ralph question makes my heart flipping in an anticipation.

"Yes, it was reported in a news where they found two male bodies in my mate's apartment." I said in sad.

"It's that so.... Hmm, sorry for asking." Ralph play with his baby girl while his son leans on his left side caresses his sister's hair lovely.

It's the perfect family picture. Kai was so lucky to get a very powerful, modest, and loving mate. Why all the best things are always belong to him? A soft patted on my shoulder pull me from the negative thought.

Kai shoves me an album picture. I flip the page one by one and spot three other boys; two of it had a great resemblance as a Kai. The last page almost makes my eyes pop up. One of the pictures was Kai with a bulge stomach bashful smile toward the camera and another one was his mate flashing a great smile with a swollen stomach in Kai embraces.

"That is the proof, cousin. We are not lying when I said we produce our own kids." Kai sits back beside his mate. His son jump on his laps again, still holding his sister small finger.

"Lucky you." I said halfheartedly. I close the family an album picture.

"Sleep here tonight, Ivan. There will be a storm late evening and mum so much an ecstatic to meet her busy nephew." Kai gives me a stern glance as if to dare me to object. I slump in my seat further. This bastard is still a dictator in giving people a command.

"Okay, big wolf papa." I mocked him, earning a laughter from his mate. His kids was just staring us curious.
