Third Person's POV

Yuma and friends reunite with Bronk who has a few bandages on his face after his duel with Quattro.

"Well Sorry if I made you worry, but me and Caswell are totally fine, you guys, and since he's safe at home now, he's gonna stay fine too" Bronk explains.

"Well good, that's a relief" Yuma says.

Gayu agrees while nodding "You can say that again Yuma" he says.

"I guess that leaves, Yuma and Gayu the only ones of us left in the carnival" Flip says.

Gayu frowns "that's not true" he says before everyone looks at him "I'm not surprised that you guys forgot, Cathy's also in the Carnival" he reminds them which a hit of realization pass through the group.

"Gayu's right, after all I'm still in" Cathy says appearing out of nowhere startling Yuma.

"You scared me!" Yuma state at the cat girl 

"Sorry, didn't mean to sneak up, but check it out" Cathy says showing her three heart pieces.

"Woah, looks like you have two heart pieces there, Cat" Yuma tells her before pulling out his pieces, I happen to have four of them myself.

"We get it Yuma, but don't flex on having more pieces too much, you would still need one more piece to pass" Gayu says to Yuma.

"he's not wrong though" Tori agrees.

Yuma looks at the girl slight offended but couldn't help but agree because she was mostly right as Cathy looks at the two interact and she takes a deep breath not before a dog out of nowhere jump and snatched Yuma heart Pieces.

Yuma chases after the dog, Gayu looks at Luna and Artemis who nod at him and then the three hear a low meowing and it came from Cathy and a bunch of Cats appear from all around the park.

"where all of those Cats come from?" Yuma question as Gayu sweatdrops.

"Maybe you panicked too much that you didn't noticed Cathy calling them out" Gayu says as Luna and Artemis climb up to both his shoulders.

"they're friends of mine and they're gonna get back with those dogs stole" She explains before meowing at the cats before they all run off.

"Gayu we'll go and help the other Cats" Artemis whispers to the Pinkette.

Gayu nod "be careful you two" he says as Luna and Artemis jump off Gayu's shoulders and run off with the other stray cats.

"I've just always sort of had a way with a feline kind" Cathy then tells the group.

"Yeah, it's almost like you speak your language" Tori comment.

"Actually Tori, not almost, I do" the cat girl corrects Tori.

After a few minutes Artemis Luna and a blue cat runs up to Gayu and the others.

"You're back!" Gayu states as he crouches down to Artemis and Luna.

"we've found them you have to follow us immediately" Luna explains before they both run off.

Yuma and the others look at Luna with shock "DID THAT CAT JUST TALK!?" they question.

Luna scoffs "rude much?" she says as Artemis laughs nervously.

Gayu and the cats look at each other and nod before looking back at the others "let's talk about this some other time, the cats found the dog" he explains and the blue cat meow at Cathy who in cat language is telling the same.

"Alright, let's go!" Cathy says as both Gayu, Cathy and the others follows them to a abandoned warehouse.

The group then begin to walk in before seeing a bunch of dogs growling at them. 

"We found them, what now?" Yuma asks as Cathy walks up.

"Simple, we take back what's yours" Cathy answers as seeing Yuma's Pieces on the ground next to one of the dogs "and we do so with backup" she adds as the cats around the warehouse hissing at the dogs Luna and Artemis were glaring at the dog "Don't worry they're all bark but no bite" Cathy assures the group.

Yuma looks unsure "You sure about that?" he asks.

"Now, be good little pups, and hand over those heart pieces" Cathy demands.

"Make way for the pack, leader!" a new voice is heard as everyone except Gayu and Cathy seems to be surprised as a bigger dog walk up "now, what's all this about?" the voice came from the dog says.

Yuma, Bronk, Flip and Tori look at the dog with shocked expressions.

"That's dog's talking" Yuma question out of disbelief.

"No way" Tori adds.

the bigger dog notices Yuma's heart Pieces "What's this here? Someone's heart pieces?" the dog questions before looking at the other dogs "You stole this didn't you?" he asks the other dogs "You're bad boys, You're all bad boys!" The "talking" dog yells surprising everyone.

"Could someone tell me what's going on here?" Yuma ask out of nervousness.

"Yeah, who know that dog know about heart pieces?" Flip adds.

"I don't typically beg, but in this case I will, please accept my apology for any trouble my pack may have caused" the Dog apologizes.

Just before Yuma was about to respond Cathy cuts him off "you thieving mandrels! Those mutts should all be kept on a very short leash!" She yells at the pack leader.

Gayu stands between Cathy and the dog pack "Take it easy, Cat; at least it apologized" Gayu says trying to calm the situation.

"your friend's right, they've been disciplined so let's just move on" the Dog responds.

"I've tried moving on, but this stuff keeps happening, take that Shiva for example!" Cathy says pointing at the small dog who stole Yuma's pieces "He's been stealing stakes from the town's butcher" she then points at a random dog "And that pug over there has been digging hole all over the city, plus his face looks funny, and he won't stop sticking his tongue out at me" she says before looking back at the Pack leader while the cat's meow and hiss.

"Katherine" Gayu warns.

"How dare you, cats are worse than us, they sleep all day, they scratch up anything they can get their claws off" the pack leader says.

with all the meowing and barking made Gayu upset and then snaps "ENOUGH!" he yells shutting everyone including the cats and dogs up "I don't give a damn! about whom did what, and I don't have the mental energy for this argument, if you guys want to settle this? how about a Duel?"

The Dog smirks "I was gonna suggest that as well" it says.

"A Duel!?" Yuma, Flip, Tori, and Bronk repeat out of confusion.

"Sounds like a fine idea" Cathy agrees making the others look at both Gayu and Cathy as if they got insane "And if I win, you dogs have to leave the city once and for all" Cathy adds.

"And if I win, you cats beat it forever!" the dog pack leader responds which Cathy agree.

"These stinks I like cats and dogs" Tori comments.

"And I just want my pieces back" Yuma says with teary eyes only for him to see Gayu giving Yuma his pieces "My pieces, wait when did-"

Gayu cuts Yuma off "I pick them up while Cathy was talking" He explains.

-little time skip-

there now on the rooftop of the warehouse as now is up the Dog loses only sixteen hundred points due to Cathy's Xyz monster Cat girl Magician and dues to a equip spell Cathy used on her Monster it gave her twelve hundred extra points.

Cat Girl Magician: Atk/3200

Dog: 2400

Cathy: 500

"Well, it's gonna be nothing but the dog stays for as this duel goes on, no wat am I gonna roll over and keep taking this, you hear me I'll make you sorry!" the dog says as the voice slowly switches from a angry old man to a pitchy child as everyone sees a short pink hair girl with a hat stating from the barrel the dog has on its back.

"where did she come from!?" the girls seem to realize her mistake as she shily gets out of the barrel.

"What in Heartland City is going on here?" Yuma asks out of confusion.

"Well Yuma I have a guess that she uses a voice filter to make her voice sound deeper to pretend that the Dog's the one talking; and I think you taught this big fella how to duel did you?" Gayu says before looking at the little girl asking while petting the big dog's head.

the girl looks up at Gayu shily and nods and Cathy then walks up to the two "what's your name?" she asks and none quite got the little girl mumbled so she say it again but a little louder but not enough to understand her "Speak up" Cathy demands.

"I said my name is Pip is that loud enough!" the girl yelled before her face turns red as she realizes that her voice filter is still on, so she hides behind her big dog.

Gayu looks smiles at Pip "Well Pip, hope you don't mind, can you tell us why you were pretending to be a Dog?" he asks.

Pip begins to tell them about how dogs can be loyal and more trusting than humans and how she and her Dog Rosco practice dueling and how he learned how to draw cards. and due to the fact that she doesn't want to get hurt by mean people she thought it would be easier to keep on dueling other people as a team according to her.

"But not all people are mean, we humans can be loyal too; you'll learn that if you stop hiding behind that dog" Cathy tells Pip who looks away with a bit of hesitation "See you're not giving us a fair chance" she points out.

Yuma seems to realize that as well "Cathy's right!" he says before seeing Gayu's arm in front of him "Gayu?" he asks.

"I believe is best if we let Cathy do the talking, sure we're having a normal conversation with Pip, but we're still in the middle of a duel" Gayu says to Yuma.

They didn't notice Cathy saying something that convinced Pip to continue on dueling on her own.

"It's my turn, I draw!" Pip shouts as she draws a card "First I play, and is a spell that can make you howl, go raise the woof! since I don't have any monster from level four or above in my yard, I'm allowed to summon four woof tokens, and with more dogs in play, Sumo King Dog gains more attack points, two thousand and is all thanks to my doggies' effect" Pip explains.

Sumo King Dog: Atk/ 3100 → 5100

Woof Tokens: Atk/0

"Now Sumo, fly to the air and attack Cat Girl Magician" Pip says as her Xyz monster goes for a attack.

Cathy swings her hand forward "not if I activate the trap: Gold coins for Cats, since you're attacking my cat, half of your monster's attack point are added to Cat Girl's attack points"

Cat Girl Magician: Atk/3200 → 5750

"Five thousand seven hundred fifty points, now she has more than that Sumo" Yuma states.

Gayu nods "is true but you're forgetting one thing" he says as they all see Sumo King Dog uses it's special ability, nullifying Cathy's trap but Cathy was expecting this to happens.

"That's exactly what I wanted; after all Sumo King Dog may be able to stop a trap, but it can't stop a spell" Cathy says as she activates her second facedown card which is a spell card as she mentioned making Pip nervous "And here it is: Counter Meow-ter! now since my trap is destroyed, I get to have revenge and can destroy a trap or a spell that's on your field and then the attack points of one of the cats I have out are double for the rest of the turn" she explains.

"For the rest of the turn oh no!" Pip gets nervous.

"Now for the spell or trap card that I'll destroy, I select the equip spell! Now Sumo's attack points return to twenty-six hundred, and then my Cat Girl Magician's Attack points increases to sixty-four hundred, and you know what that means, don't you? Now you and your dogs are through" Cathy says.

Gayu looks and sees Pip with a hopeless expression he feels sorry for the girl 'I'm sorry Cathy... You're my friend, but...' he thinks before he inhales.

Tori realizes "I think he's encouraging Pip with singing" she says.

"there's no room for giving up, Pip you must keep battling until the very end! be loyal to your cards just like your dogs are loyal to you" Gayu with a smile not noticing a familiar crescent mark on his forehead that only Astral. Luna, and Artemis could see.

Pip looks at Gayu with awe and looks back at Cathy determine "he's right, I gotta stay loyal! There's still some fight in this dog! and I know that there's still fight left in all of you!" Pip state as all the dogs' howls.

Gayu smiles at this.

"I play my trap card: Superior Howl! with this by destroying one of my equip spells I can return all monsters on the field to it's original attack points!" Pips explains.

Sumo King Dog: Atk/ 5100 → 2600

Cat Girl Magician: Atk/ 3200 → 2000

Cathy smiles at this "they say that every dog has its day, young lady, and I think this one is yours" she says to Pip before looking at the pinkette 'Thank you for the encouragement' she thanks the boy in her mind.

"Go, Sumo, Attack Cat Magician!" Pip says as her monsters attacks Cathy's making her lose the duel while she falls on her back.

Cathy: 500 - 0

Pip looks shocked at what just happened "I won?" she questions out of disbelief before giggling and cheers as she gets surrounded by her dog friends.

Luna and Artemis climbs on Gayu's shoulders and the three look at each other and make their leave unannounced the other because Gayu have rehearsal for the next day performance.

-time skip-

Gayu walks out of rehearsal, Luna and Artemis went home so he went to rehearsals alone; he bid his goodbye to everyone as he continues humming a song in mind but stops when he sees a small boy walking alone on the street.

"What's a kid doing here in he streets yet alone?" he asks himself.

the boy looks at the pinkette older boy and runs up to him "M-Moon boy!" he states making Gayu looks at the boy confusedly but stops and hugs himself grunting in pain.

Gayu goes to check on Hart and he sees that he's covered in electricity before he screams in pain.

"Kid!" Gayu calls him.

"M-Moon Boy...B-Brother!" the kids state out of pain before tear begins to well up in his eyes.

Gayu widen his eyes out of shock and feel empathy for the pain and he walks up the boy regardless of going to get hurt in the process; Gayu grunts in pain as he feels the shock hitting him and carelessly hugs the boy and a moon crescent mark appears on his forehead.

"Don't worry, I-I got you" Gayu says as he unnoticingly begins to glow in a bright yellow light; Gayu gasp as he sees flashes of the boy's memories and sees a familiar blonde male with a warm smile 'Kite...so this is where you go in a hurry' Gayu thinks and begins to sing

As Gayu sings his pink hair begins to change as well as it grows long to it reach mid-back and the color changes from pink to platinum blonde, he then opens his eyes and sees that Hart is fully calm and looking at Gayu with awe.

"Moon Boy..." he mumbles.

Gayu smiles before continuing singing.

the light turns down as Gayu finishes singing Gayu smiles at the little boy once again before he collapses.

"Moon Boy!" Hart calls the unconscious blonde.

Then Luna and Artemis looks and sees the boy looking at Gayu with worry

"Moon Boy, Moon Boy wake up!" Hart begs.

Luna and Artemis look at each other and nod before they glow turning themselves into humans.

they then come out of hiding "Gayu!" they both yell as they run to the unconscious young boy,

Artemis checks his pulse "he's okay he's just unconscious" He tells the now ravenette female.

"His powers are beginning to grow strong we must take him back home!"  Luna says but Hart holds Gayu close.

"M-May I come with?" he asks.

Luna and Artemis looks hesitant but sigh and agree and they all went home.

-the next day-

Gayu opens his eyes and grunts before sitting up feeling something heavy in his torso he moves the covers away and he sees Hart sleeping on him snuggling on the now blonde boy.

"You're awake, what a relief" Gayu hears Luna saying as she goes up to him in her normal cat form.

Gayu rubs his eyes "Was I knocked out?" He asks the black cat.

Luna nod "yeah, but you'll be okay" she says "well only slight change is your hair" she adds.

Gayu looks at Luna confused "my hai-" Gayu says before he pauses once he touches his hair before looking on his mirror and looks shocked seeing his now long blonde hair "M-My hair... what happened to my hair!?" He questions as Artemis walks in in his human form.

"That's your powers growing Gayu by the second Gayu...and I believe is time for you to know the truth" Artemis says.

Gayu looks confused "know what truth?" He asks.

Luna sighs "about your biological parents Gayu... you see You were born as the prince of the moon" she tells the blonde

Gayu looks shocked "You mean, THE moon? You're messing with me, right?" He asks hoping they're lying.

Artemis and Luna shakes their head "the reason they have to abandon you is because the kingdom was under attacked, and it was dangerous for a baby and if the invader found out about your existence, the kingdom will he in a higher danger than it already was, so your mother Neo Queen Serenity and your father King Endymion order us to watch over you during your growth" Luna explains.

Gayu looks down and sees Hart peacefully sleeping "about this boy... what does he had to do with all of this and why he called me Moon Boy?" He asks.

Artemis sits on the bed "if we're honest we don't even know ourselves, and also you don't have to worry about your adoptive mother seeing you like this, she knows all about this the whole time"

"So that explains how she was aware of you guys" Gayu says.

"She said that when you woke up you don't have to worry about day three performance you'll be able to perform at the next event" Luna tells Gayu with a reassuring tone.

Gayu nods "I see...thanks for telling me guys" he thanks the two cats.

"Hart I promise we'll get you a cure..." Kite's voice echoes in Gayu's mind.

"Hart..." Gayu mutters before hearing a groan as Hart wakes up and look up at Gayu.

"Moon boy!" Hart states hug Gayu.

"Hello Hart...why you call me Moon Boy?" He asks.

"Huh?... well... I can feel bright when I'm with you and it was night time when I saw you perform..." Hart says.

Gayu looks surprised "you did?" He asks.

Hart nods "I saw you with my big brother"

Gayu then gets out of bed and Hart follows along "is you brother named Kite?"

Hart nod before looking down "I'm guessing he's worried about me" he says.

"Don't worry Hart, you will see Kite again, I don't know when, but I do know that you will rather sooner than later, that I promise you" Gayu reassures the little boy.

Hart feels something pumping in his chest and it was warm 'Is this... joy?' he questions before then noticing a familiar square shape piece of candy in a bowl.

Gayu immediately notices "Caramel?" he asks as he hands Hart a caramel.

Hart takes it "My brother was tired because of me, I wanted to get him Caramel because it'll give him strength" he tells the blonde looking at the Caramel.

Gayu kneels down to Hart and hugs the boy "I know it will...he'll be so thrilled for you to do something for him" he says, Gayu then let's go and gets up and looks at Artemis "Artemis, give him a disguise, we're going to have a fun day with hart" he says.

Artemis nod "Understood, let's go Hart" Artemis says as he takes Hart out of the room.

Gayu smiles as the two leave and looks at himself in the mirror "Now what to do with you?" he asks himself as he looks at his long blonde hair.

after a while he decided to wear a white sleeveless high collar crop top with a cyan diamond with golden outline underneath a gray opened hoodie with cyan inner cloth alongside black pants with a strap on his right leg where he has his duel disk in, he also wears black shoes with white soles, and then he ties his hair into a low ponytail.

Gayu walks out of his room and Artemis walks towards Gayu with Hart wearing a big shirt and a hat to hide most of his hair. and he has Luna in his arms.

"Ready to go?" Gayu then asks Hart nods as Gayu smiles at the boy "then let's go" Gayu says as he turns to leave only for Hart to take Gayu's hand.

Gayu lets him and they both walk out with Luna in Hart's arms and Artemis back in his cat form sitting on Gayu's right shoulder; they walk to a amusement park and they got in with ease and since they staff are dumb enough to not noticed the cats as Gayu and Hart entered they look around.

Gayu looks at the boy who's face is in awe "Gayu why don't you take Hart to some rides that he would like" Luna suggests.

Gayu hums and nods "I know which to go first, come on" he says as he and Hart walk towards a merry-go-round.

Gayu helps Hart getting in the horse. and tells him to hang on the pole as he sits behind him Hart was nervous at first but calms down once, he feels the newly blonde boy's hand petting his head.

"Gayu..." Hart says making the blonde look down at the boy "You think you would like to be my new brother?" he suddenly asks Gayu.

Gayu looks surprised but giggles "I don't know, Hart, someday in the future" he says.

Hart then nods "Okay..." he says.

'Hart went through a lot... and suffer so much, but still, he's still a kid, and I want him to have a childhood that he can enjoy while he still has the chance' Haru thinks as the two continue on enjoying the ride.

-time skip-

The group left the amusement park. since it was almost noon, and they went off to buy some ice cream specifically Gayu bought two Ice cream bowls of vanilla since Hart has no preferences which it wasn't much of a problem and unlike Gayu's, Hart's Ice cream has melted caramel sprinkled on top.

Gayu then notices that Hart has trouble with eating Ice cream "Hart watch what I'm gonna do okay?" Gayu tells Hart who nod, Hart watches Gayu taking a bite of his Ice Cream and eats it slowly so that Hart doesn't eat the ice cream fast.

Hart begins to do the same and he seem to like the flavor with the caramel and begins to eat it fast, but Luna stops him.

"Don't eat it too fast, Hart, you'll get brain freeze" Luna warns.

Hart looks at the black cat confused "Brain freeze?" he repeats.

Artemis stand next to Luna "only happens when you eat something cold too quickly, you'll feel shocks up to your brain, or what a lot of people call brain freeze" he explains.

Hart seems to understand it now "is it good Hart?" Gayu then ask the boy who nods making Gayu so happy "that's great!" he states happily Hart looks at Gayu and then back at the Ice cream with a small smile and continues.

-time skip-

it was nighttime, while Gayu and Hart were back at the spot where Hart and Kite hide from everyone.

"This place is quite..." Gayu mutters to himself "Lonely..." he adds as Hart pick up another caramel.

"Do you think, Kite would be looking for Hart, right now?" Luna asks the blonde boy.

"I hope he does..." Gayu replies before a sound of a Helicopter is heard by and flashes before their eyes.

Gayu runs to Hart and pulls him close to Gayu "I don't know what's going on, but I'll make sure nothing happens to you..." Gayu reassure Hart with a warm smile and to Hart hugs Gayu; Gayu then looks forward and sees a person coming out of the Flying vehicle 'I've only met Hart for twelve hours, but if anything happens to him, I'll never forgive them or myself' he thinks

then Quinton appears in front them Gayu seem unsure about this guy "who are you?" Gayu asks.

"I'm Hart's friend and I'm here to help, isn't it that right, Hart" Quinton ask as his forehead glows but gasps out of shock when he sees that Hart is unaffected by his power but then sees an angry Gayu with a glowing moon crescent mart on his forehead 'That light...that symbol' he thinks.

"The question was: who are you? Not, What's your relationship with Hart?" Gayu says before pointing at Quiton "I'll ask again, Who the hell are you?" Gayu demands.

Quiton looks at Gayu with shock before composed his cool "I go by the name Quiton... I'm aware that people were still looking for Hart, and I was sent to take him somewhere safer from those people, and I deeply apologize for you getting involved into this" Quiton then explains.

Gayu can tell that he's telling half the truth Hart lets go of Gayu and starts to walk up to Quiton.

"Give us a minute" Gayu says before stopping Hart.

Quiton sighs "very well" he agrees.

Gayu nods before stand in front of Hart "Hart, are you sure you want to go with him?" he asks.

Hart looks at Gayu "is not just that I want, I have to, I'd already caused you much trouble..." the little boy says, "thanks for everything Moon Boy" Hart says before walking by him and goes to Quiton.

Gayu stands up and looks over at Hart and Quinton "Hart will be perfectly safe with me I assure you" Quiton tells Gayu who looks at him with a frown "let's go Hart..." he says.

"Yes...after all I must complete my mission" Hart says.

"Mission? What Mission?" Luna questions.

"Is simple Luna..." Hart turns his head to Gayu and the two cats "to destroy Astral World, I cannot fail my mission" he says shocking the blond before he continues on leaving with Quinton "Again... thank you for everything, if you ever find Kite, tell him I'll be waiting for him" Hart says.

Those words leave Gayu with shock as Hart and Quiton left.

"Destroy Astral world what's even an Astral world?" Gayu questions himself before feeling a sharp headache forcing him to clench his head.

Gayu then sees flashes of a couple who seemed like they're from royalty and a baby giggling in the woman's arms the flashes ended while the headache was gone as well.

"What...what was that?" Gayu questions himself
