Gayu's POV

"w-what!? t-two cats and they talk like humans...I think I watched too much Cardcaptor Sakura these days, that's what I get for simping for the Protagonist Older brother!" I cursed myself.

the white cat goes up to me "we know you have lots of questions, those questions will be answered but now you have school to go" the white cat said which judging by the tone of voice I assume it's a he.

I got out of bed and changed out of my pajamas and walked out of my room while fixing my school uniforms and turned to the cats "I didn't get your names" I then said.

"I'm Artemis" the white cat introduced himself.

The black cat spoke up in her feminine voice "and My name is Luna" she said.

I nodded "I'll remember that I'll see you in a bit, and don't let my mom see you" I said.

"Actually, your mom was the one who brought us in" Luna explained.

I nodded again "I see... I'll see you later then, but you two owe me explanations" I said which both cats nodded at me before I walk out of the room completely.

-time skip-

third Person's POV

Gayu was walking around the mall with Yuma and Tori till he unfortunately got separated from them just when he decided to look at the music store that's on the top floor and his eyes widen when he heard his voice booming the speakers, but he then heard a voice shouting.

"For the last time fulfill my demand or these hostages are gonna get it!" he stated swinging a bat around and the hostage flinched.

Gayu's eyes widen with shock "woah I'm in the middle of a crime scene, well that's something you don't see every day" he said as he walks up to the guy with the baseball bat.

the guys see Gayu "Oi! don't get any closer or you'll get it!" he threatens Gayu who seemed totally unbothered.

"Was that supposed to scare me" he said before he bend backwards dodging the swing and kicks the bat off the guy who he and the hostages gasped with shock Gayu pushes the guy away and his eyes widen when he sees a number on the guy's left shoulder 'He has a number card' he thought before making a back handstand flip to get himself distance from him "I don't know who you are, and I don't care who you are but I refuse to let you run around the place like you own it" Gayu heroically said.

Yuma and Tori were watching the scene from the bottom floor and with fear and worry.

"Gayu!" Yuma stated before he run off.

"Wait Yuma!" Tori stated following after Yuma.

back with Gayu both he and the bandit heard the sound of shattering glass and Gayu jumps and rolls away to prevent himself from being hit by the glass only for it to be frozen in place which surprised Gayu.

"The hell?" Gayu questioned.

"Gayu!" he heard a familiar voice calling for him he looks back and sees Artemis running up to him and jumps on to his shoulder.

"Artemis? how you get here, Where's Luna?" he asked the White Cat.

Artemis looks at the pink hair boy "Luna's your house for now and watching the situation from the news" he explains.

Gayu sighed in disappointment "this is not how I want my mom to see me in" he said.

"your mom's not home so Luna's alone there" Artemis explained.

Gayu sweat drop "of course" he said before he began to hear someone whistling.

Gayu looks front and sees a Tall young man who has light blue-grey eyes, pale skin and blonde hair that is curled up in a point with a dark green spiked front, also featuring dark green bangs. His attire includes a black trench coat with a high collar over a grey shirt, a finger-less black glove on his right hand, and white pants with black boots. He also has a belt with two purple deck boxes for his cards. In the past, his attire included a pink shirt, brown pants and braces fitted around his belt.

"Hey what's happening here!?" the Bandit demanded while looking around.

"Everything and almost everyone but us are frozen" Gayu commented on Artemis.

Artemis looks around "I have a guess that this guy had something to do with freezing time" he guesses while looking at the blonde male.

"If that's the case I must be careful with him, I don't know if he's a enemy or an ally" Gayu then said.

"Are you behind all of this" the Bandit questioned angrily as Gayu and the Blonde stood next to each other without the blonde acknowledging his presence and which Gayu really doesn't care about it.

"Such questions are irrelevant little punk" the blonde responded with sass Gayu crosses his arms "what's relevant is what I do" he then said.

"You really thought that you could do such a dramatic entrance to steal my thunder, then think again" Gayu said making the blonde narrow his eyes at the short pink hair male.

"don't get in my way of hunting numbers" he said.

Gayu looks at the blonde "more like You don't get in my way" he said before realizing what he heard from the blonde "Wait did you said numbers?" he questioned.

"You're some sort of a counting" the bandit then asked.

"You thick headed thug why don't I just demostrate" the Blonde said

Gayu looks back and sees a robot behind him before grabbing Gayu "Hey!" he yelled.

"Sorry but I have to take you away for your sake" the robot apologizes as Gayu, Artemis and the Robot jump off the floor which shocks the male and Cat and the robot spread its wings while they safely land "there safe and sound" it said.

Gayu glares at the robot "next time ask permission" he said making the robot jumps scared. 

"d-don't be scary it was master Kite's mental orders, also how are you not frozen like everyone else? Unless you possessed a number card" It said

"I don't possess such a card" Gayu lied while acting annoyed and offended.

Before they both look up and see an explosion coming from the top floor "well there goes my cue" the robot said before it flew off.

Gayu frowned and walked away "what's with that guy?" Gayu questioned.

"I don't know but I have a bad feeling about that guy, and that robot seemed like a easily fool robot, be careful" Artemis said which Gayu nodded when he arrives, he sees a familiar purple hair male standing with his bike next to him "is he a friend of yours?" Artemis asked.

Gayu shrugged "um...more like a acquaintance for now, since I can't really say if he's a friend yet" Gayu muttered low enough for Artemis to hear who then nodded.

"Heading home, now?"

"How you found me anyway?"

"I came to your house, and I heard your mom saying that you were here instead, and I knew about the attack so I came as fast as I could" Shark explained.

'Luna...' Gayu and Artemis thought.

the pink hair boy then crosses his arms "Well I'm okay, why you want to see me for?" Gayu asked.

"Listen, we started off in a "too fast" pace, I want to get to know you more" Shark said before looking away "I-If you let me" Shark stuttered 'Did I really stuttered...that's just new' Shark then thought.

"Sure, I just hope your fangirls don't get to bother me again" Gayu said with a look of disgust thinking of a certain event that happened in school.

Shark tilted his head "Fangirls?" he questioned.

"you know the Blonde girl with a ponytail who seem too prideful and entitled" Gayu explained.

Shark groaned in annoyance finally realizing who the pink hair boy is talking about "don't tell me you got assaulted by Chloe and her minions" he then asked.

"So, Chloe's her name?" Gayu stated

Shark nodded "yeah, her family is well known for their runs in their duel tournaments, and the one that I got disqualified for was one of them" he explained.

Gayu tilted his head "and what's that had to do with Chloe?"

"She's obsessed with me-" Shark said before being jump on by a yellow blur.

"Reggykins you're here, did you miss me?" a blonde girl asked the male who groan in annoyance.

Shark shrugs Chloe off him "Chloe, I told you that I don't want anything to do with you" he said making Chloe bopped his nose.

"I know you miss me too, Reggy" she said being total delusional which Gayu and Artemis cringed at the scene.

'Delusional...' they thought.

Chloe then looks at Gayu and scoffs "you again, don't you see I'm having a moment with my boyfriend-" Chloe said before Gayu raises his hand making her shut her mouth.

"Okay first of all, you're being delusional; second of all it's obvious that Shark is NOT interested in you at all, and you're stuck in the denial pace, get a life; and third of all what part of "not want anything to do with you" you didn't understand? and you know what you don't have to answer because it's obvious that you're too dumb to answer that question" he said making Shark smirked and Chloe glared at the pink hair boy.

"Do you have any Idea who you're talking to?"

"A delusional blonde who thinks that being delulu is the solulu which clearly as crystal ocean is not" Gayu sassily responded making Shark burst into laughter.

"Good one Gayu" Shark said between laughter.

"We were about to leave so excuse us" Gayu said as he bumped shoulder with Chloe who snapped her fingers and Gayu get throw down by her minions.

"Gayu!" Shark called the pink hair boy

"Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, you're getting it" Gayu said getting obviously angry.

"I don't get what Reggie sees in you" Chloe questions with pure disgust.

"Quit calling me that, I'm not your boyfriend" Shark reminded her.

"Yet after I get rid of this leech, you'll see that I'm a better choice than this loser" Chloe said confidently.

"Shut up Chloe!" He said as he helped Gayu up and they both get in their bike. they leave the girls who glared at the pink hair boy, and numbers appeared on one different part of their body, a 18 on one girl's left forearm a 31 on the other girl's right forearm and a 45 on the back of Chloe's neck.

"Oh, you're so on, Gayu Tsukino...you're getting stunned" Chloe said as she and her minions walk away.

-time skip-

It's night time and Gayu finished recording a new song and smiled "this is cool!" Gayu cheered coming out of the booth.

Artemis and Luna looked at the boy amazed with his singing "you sure have talent for music, Gayu" Luna complimented him

Gayu smiled at the Cat "thanks Luna, but back to the main topic, where you guys come from?"

Artemis walks up to the human "we were sent from the Moon to watch over you since you and your adoptive mother move to heartland city" he explained.

"Now Your real mother Neo Queen Serenity, knew that your powers will be waking up soon, and it's our job to help you with knowledge of what you will learn"

"Wait, I'll get powers? Like the Magical Girl type of power?" Gayu asked the talking feline duo who shrugged.

"In a way, yes" they responded.

Gayu nodded before hearing a scream from his mother making Gayu run downstairs to see if his mother was okay

"Mom! Are you okay?" Gayu asked.

The woman looked at Gayu and nodded "y-yes I am...someone threw a brick through the window" she explained as Gayu see a brick on the dining table with a Note and has Gayu's initials on it he takes the note and opens it and reads it and what it said made him boiled with rage "Mom, these bullies happened to manage to stalk me, I'm dealing with them, and don't worry about physical injuries I doubt there will be some of that, but what I do know that there's goings to be a duel, and I'm going to win, don't wait for me" he said before walking out dropping the note in the process while Artemis and Luna read the note.

"Gayu

If you don't want me to expose you to the school a the gayest bitch in school, challenge me to a duel and don't bring back up

"Now this is personal" Gayu said as he walks towards the Park where the Queen Bee is waiting for him with her minions.

Gayu arrived at the park looking for Chloe and her minions.

"Where is she?" He questioned.

"I've been waiting for you, Gayu" he hears Chloe's voice, and she pulls out her Duel disk "I told you to get away from, my Reggiekins but you seemed dumb to understand it, but enough talking, I have to teach you the hard way" she said as a familiar aura surrounded her and her Minions which concerns Gayu and feel a uneasy feeling.

'it's happening again but... it's less painful than last time' Gayu thought before looking at Chloe "Okay Chloe, if it's a duel you want then it's a Duel you'll get, like it or not, I'm not planning on losing" he stated.

Chloe smirked "alright let's go" she said as Chloe and her Minions activate their duel disk

"Duel disk let's go!" Gayu said as he activate his duel disk and placed it on his left forearm "Let's roll Duel gazer" Gayu then said as he and the three girls activated their duel gazers

"Sabrina starts this off!" Chloe stated to a ginger bob cut hair girl with glasses who nodded

"I'll start!" Sabrina said as she draws a card "I would like to summon a monster from my hand since there's no monster on the field I can get to special summon it so come forth Emolga"

Emolga: Atk/1300

"next I'll be setting a card and then summon Yamper in attack mode" Sabrina stated as a puppy-like monster appeared to the field.

Yamper: Atk/1000

"And now I'm activating Yamper's special ability when it's normal summoned and there is another monster on the field, I'm allowed to switch that other monster's level equals to Yamper's so making Emolga now a Level four monster" Sabrina explained.

Emolga: Level/3 → 4

Gayu's eyes widen with shock 'is she going to summon her number?' Gayu questioned in his mind.

"Now I'm going to overlay Both Emolga and Yamper with these two monsters I build the overlay network I Xyz summon!" Sabrina chanted.

"They smile that this monster possesses contains a sinister smug of Bad Ending, Rise Number 18: Haos Lars Lion!" Sabrina stated as a bigger monster rising from the field.

"With that I end my turn" Sabrina finishes as she looks at a short hair brunette female "your turn Lila" she said

Lila smirked "with pleasure, I draw!" Lila said before drawing a card from her deck and looks at her cards "Alright, I'll start this off by activating the spell Akumatization this allows me to summon a level five or higher-level Akuma monster from my hand, I'm summoning Akuma Lady Wi-Fi!" she explained as a tall female in a skintight black body suit jumps out from the field.

Akuma Lady Wi-fi: Atk/1900

"Now I'm activating Lady Wi-fi's special ability when its special summoned to the field I get to draw three cards from my deck and if any of them happened to be Monster cards I get to summon it" Lila explained as she drew three cards from her deck and smirked "you're in for a show because I summon Akuma Princess Fragrance, and Akuma Reflecta!" she said as two monsters appeared on both side of Akuma Lady Wi-fi.

Akuma Reflecta: Atk/1500

"Now I'm activating Reflecta's special ability, by sending two cards from the top of my deck to the graveyard her level increases by two" Lila explained.

Akuma Reflecta: Level/4 → 6

"Now I'm going to Overlay my two Level six Akuma Lady Wi-fi and Akuma Reflecta! with these two I'm building the overlay network, I Xyz summon!"

"These three Witches are the embodiment of Pride, Envy, and Wrath, rise from the shadows of vengeance Number 31: the Trix!"

"Next I activate the equip spell, Dark Charmix; this will give the Trix a six hundred power boost" Lila then explained.

"Now I end my turn" Lila finished.

Chloe smirked at Gayu and draws a card "you made a big mistake of making enemy out of us Gayu, you'll see what I mean after this turn, I summon Miraculous King Monkey in attack mode!"

Miraculous King Monkey: Atk/1800

"Now I'm activate two Miraculous SOS spell cards; these allows me to summon two Miraculous Monster from my Deck, I summon Miraculous Cat Noir and Miraculous Ladybug!" Chloe explained as two new monsters jump out together at the same time.

Miraculous Ladybug: Atk/1900

Miraculous Cat Noir: Atk/1800

"Now it's time for me to bring out my number by overlaying Ladybug and Cat Noir!" Chloe stated while laughing maniacally.

"I Xyz Summon Number 45: Bug Noir!" Chloe stated as a taller woman appeared in the field.

"I activate King Monkey's Special Ability for two turn you can't activate any monster's special ability let's see what you can do when you're all powerless against us" Chloe said as she and her minions laughed at Gayu who seemed unbothered.

"Okay you asked for it, besides such tactic like this will bring you to the biggest downfall" Gayu said as he draws a card "I draw!" he shouted before looking at the cards "I would like to start this duel by activating the spell, Cancel Glitter; I can equip this card to any monster on the field, so I'm deciding of giving it to King Monkey" Gayu explained as King monkey gets outlined by a pink light "Not only that he'll join forces with me, come to my aid King Monkey" Gayu explained as Chloe's monster jumps forward doing a summersault and lands next to Gayu, Now I summoning Cure Dream in attack mode!" Gayu explained.

Cure Dream: Atk/1700

"Oh, and one more thing thanks to King Monkey's special ability you girls can't activate your monsters' abilities" Gayu explained. 

"No way!" Sabrina stated with shock as Lila and Chloe growled.

"Next, I activate the spell Aurora wave this allows me to summon more than one Cure Monster from my hand if there's one on the field already; come to our aid Cure Black and Cure White!" Gayu explained.

Cure Black: Atk/1700

Cure White: Atk/1600

"Now I'm gonna activate the spell Pretty Cure rescue; this lets me summon another Cure Monster from my deck, I'm summoning Cure Twinkle" Gayu said.

Cure Twinkle: Atk/1400

"Now I'm going to overlay my level four Cure Twinkle and your level four King Monkey! with these two monsters I build the overlay network, I Xyz summon!" Gayu explained.

"She is the pretty Guardian who fights for love and for justice, she's Sailor Moon! and in the name of the Moon, we'll punish you!" Gayu explained as Sailor moon appears in the field.

Sailor Moon: Akt/2400

"You fool the only way to defeat a number is a number" Lila reminded him which Gayu smirked.

"you're the ones who are playing the fool I activate cure Twinkle's ability by sending three cards from my deck to the graveyard I can make a Xyz monster attack all of your monsters at once, and besides Sailor Moon doesn't need to be a number to defeat you guys in a duel" he said.

Chloe looks at Gayu with shock "she does not!?" she asked.

"Still your Sailor Moon doesn't have enough point to defeat Bug Noir" Chloe said to Gayu

"that's also true that's why I'm activating Cure Dream's special ability if there are monsters who has higher attack points than or equal of attack points than my own, they'll lose half of their points" Gayu explained.

Number 45: Bug Noir: Atk/2500 → 500

Number 31: the Trix: Atk/3000 → 1500

"Now I'm going to overlay My level fours Cure Dream, Black, and White" Gayu said.

his three monsters turned into two red and one blue spheres of light flying into the sky as on the ground opened a purple and yellow blackhole which the two monsters flew into creating a pillar of yellow light.

"Now you think I'm going to beat you in your own game? because I sure am, want to play the numbers game? then I'll do the same, I Xyz summon, Number 0: Queen Serenity!" Gayu chanted as Queen Serenity appeared in the field.

Number 0: Queen Serenity: Atk/100

"Now I'm activating Queen Serenity's special ability, by using one overlay unit, she gains all of your monster's attack points"

Number 0: Queen Serenity: Atk/100 →4100

"But that's not the best part and like Sailor Moon, she can also attack you all at once! but before I attack I'll activate Sailor Moon's ability, by using one overlay unit, she can destroy a face down for each sailor monster in the graveyard ad let me tell you there are three monsters in there" Gayu added which shocks Sabrina as her facedown card get destroyed.

"now with no face down card helping you, Sailor moon attack! Moon tiara action!" Gayu yelled as Sailor Moon launches her tiara at the opposing monsters knocking them a few life points.

Sabrina: 4000 - 3600
Lila: 4000 - 3100
Chloe:  4000 - 2100

"Now Queen Serenity Finish this duel with Moon Pride Beam" Queen Serenity fires a rainbow-colored beam out of her hands at the three girls losing their remaining points

"Utterly Ridiculous!" Chloe yelled as she and her minions were sent flying.

Sabrina: 3600 - 0
Lila: 3100 - 0
Chloe: 2100 - 0

Winner: Gayu

Gayu takes off his duel gazer as he sees three cards floating off the girls and they flew straight at Gayu which Gayu took them once the light fades revealing to be the Number Cards, they possessed but he suddenly felt someone was watching.

"I know you were watching; you can come out" Gayu said before seeing the blonde male from the mall walking out from hiding 'How did I sensed him could this be the powers Luna and Artemis told me about?' Gayu questioned himself.

"I see that you were able to defeat the number users with a number that I'd never seen before" he said

Gayu crosses his arms "I'll take that as a compliment, whatever your name is" he said.

"Kite Tenjo I'm hunting numbers card like those you have" He said as Gayu looks at the Cards and goes to hand Kite the number, but the blonde stopped him "you...keep them" he said surprising the pink hair male.

"What? isn't this what you were here for?" Gayu asked.

"I was...but I have another matter to attend I must hurry...I hope this isn't the last time we meet... Gayu" Kite said leaving a shocked Gayu questioning on how he knows his name.

-flash back-

"Master Kite" the robot called his master as it shows a holographic message showing a boy laying down on the ground groaning in pain.

"Heart!" Kite stated with worry before turning to Yuma "we'll finish this later, but now I must leave" Kite said as he swings his arm back as a invisible glowing red stream disappears "Come on we must hurry, we'll find that pink hair male. some other time" he said

"Gayu!?" Yuma questioned making Kite hear as the robot who came with him turn into a motorcycle and they drove off.

"let's roll" the robot said as they leave.

then Kite noticed a duel from a far and sees Gayu dueling three females he activated the field where only those who has number cards can move freely, he realized that Gayu's dueling three number users.

-flash back ended-

"Sorry that I expose your name like that your friend Luma told me about you"

"It's Yuma not Luma, but...I don't understand about this yet, but I can tell you're in a hurry, I think you should go" Gayu said 

Kite nodded "you're right, for now until we meet again, I'm Kite" he said.

"I'll introduce myself even though you know it already, I'm Gayu Tsukino" he said

"I'll remember that" Kite said before he leaves to check on his little brother.

'I don't think... he's the enemy... more like he's a misunderstood' he thought as he watched Kite leave. little does he know the three girls were dragged away by a shadowy figure who's taking them deep in the trees.

-time skip-

Gayu's eating breakfast and eats his breakfast and hears his mother walking up to her son "Hey Gayu, you know there's a event called world duel Carnival, it's a special tournament where every duelist from all over the world can participate including you Gayu, and the management team were wondering if Ai the Idol of love would love to make a first stage appearance in the opening act" she said to her son

"And what you told them" Gayu asked.

"I said that I have to talk to you first after all you are the idol who's been the talk of the town" she responded.

Gayu thought for a second and looked at his mom and nodded "we can do that, I guess I have some practicing to do both dueling wise and performing wise" he said

Gayu mom nodded "that's my boy" she said kissing his head and leaves the dining room.

Luna and Artemis jump on the dining table and look at Gayu "so what happened to you was that you unlock the ability to sense people who possess number cards from a long distance" the black cat explained.

"So that's how I was able to sense Kite last night" Gayu then said which the Cats nodded before the three looks at the tv which it's showing a promotion to the Word Duel Carnival "looks like I'll be having a long-time training" he said which the cats nodded with agreement.
