Gayu's standing at the school gates playing with his low braided styled long blonde hair and sighs out of nervousness but refuses to let them get the better of him as he walks through the gates and walks by a few students some of them stop by him and greet him or congratulating him for making to the final which he thanked them he was relief that no one was making a big deal about him be Ai.

"Hey, did you hear, three kids from our school made it to the finals in the World Duel Carnival" a Girl says to her friend.

"They did? Who are they?" the other girl asked.

"Well Shark Made it of course, along with that new boy who he came to school with that one time, I think his name is Gayu Tsukino" the first girl says, "also haven't you heard anything from Chloe?" she asks.

a third girl shrugs "beats me, I never like Chloe specially that day when she humiliated Tsukino, I grew a lot of respect for him with how he takes her bullying tactics" she says.

"Also, I heard that clumsy kid also made it to the finals" the first girl then points out.

"Oh, that's Yuma" the third girl responds, "Hey how does this catchphrase go again?" she then questions.

"Watch out cause I'm feeling the flow!" the entire school looks and sees Yuma jumping up in the air making them look at the teen with a dumbfounded expression that says 'he's not gonna make to the finals if he's that reckless'.

Yuma sees that he's about to fall face first, but luck was on his side when he feels a hand on his shirt and sets him straight.

"Yuma, I get that you're excited, but I wouldn't want you to get injured before the finals starts," Gayu lightly scolds Yuma making the dual-colored hair teen look at Gayu nervously.

"Hehe, Sorry Gayu, I guess I really am taking the finals over my head" Yuma apologized.

Gayu sighs and shakes "is nothing, really; I completely understand in where you're coming from" Gayu reassures Yuma while patting his shoulder "Now come on, the others are waiting for us at the classroom" Gayu says as he walks ahead.

"Right!" Yuma responds as he walks a head.

meanwhile everyone else in the school yard looks at the two of them 'Man to be Yuma for one day' they all thought.

-scene change-

"You're lucky that Gayu was near to prevent you from embarrassing yourself" Tori then scolds Yuma as they're now gathered together in Yuma's desk in homeroom period.

"I know... but they can't blame me I mean check this out" Yuma says as he pulls out a letter from his back pocket "it's a invitation to a Paty the night before the Duel Carnival finals" Yuma explains.

Bronk, Tori, Caswell, and Cathy gathered around Yuma and chattered about celebrities and outfits etc.

little did they know Flip was standing at the for frame with a smug on his face about to plot something stupid "You don't learn your lesson, do you, Flip?" Gayu question from behind the shorter teen making Flip startle.

"Gayu when did you get here?" he asks.

Gayu crosses his arms "long enough to know that you're planning something dumb and you're going to use Yuma and the others as bait, but guess what, they're not" Gayu says before leaving and looks specifically at Cathy and Tori "Perfect" he says to himself before running towards the group "Cathy, Tori, just the pair that I'm looking for" he says gaining the girls' attention.

"Oh Gayu, you need anything?" Tori asks her friend.

Gayu nod "are you two free today, there's something that I need to ask you two, I hope is not too much to ask for" he says making Tori and Cathy look at the blonde confused.

Vetrix walks out of Trey's room as he walks down the hall ignoring the presence of Quattro and Quinton

"Vetrix, wait!" Quattro calls the Shota adult "Please hear me out, you have to!" Quattro begs making Vetrix stop walking "I want to show you what I can do, give me the same powers you entrusted to Trey" Quattro then says.

"And why should I do that Quattro, so you can squander them and fail me, just like your brother Trey did? Or just to have another excuse to get closer to the son of Neo Queen Serenity?" Vetrix questions catching both Quinton and Quattro off guard by that second question.

Quattro grunts in anger "Vetrix! How can you be so cold and ruthless!? Trey dueled the Moon Prince and look at him now! What more do you want!?" he questions out of frustration and anger for his little brother's states.

"It's quite simple really, results" Vetrix simply responds without looking back at Quattro "And I found Someone who is more likely to deliver than you..." Vetrix explain before turning his head over his right shoulder looking at Quattro with his only exposed left eye "Reginald Kastle, ah but you would likely know him by his dueling moniker, Shark" Vetrix then says making Quattro even madder than he already is before leaving the two younger males while ignoring Quattro calling him.

-somewhere else-

in a dark room Kite's currently laying on a hospital bed and after regaining energy of the Photon transformation and puts his top back on

'Gayu Tsukino... I need to find you no matter how long it'll take me' he thinks.

"Master Kite, please listen to me if you'll continue to use Photon transformation to win duels that acquire numbers the stress your body endorsement-" his robotic companion tries to explain Kite only to be cut off by Mister Heartland.

"I do hope I'm not interrupting anything" Kite sees Mister Heartland talking to him from a holographic screen.

"Just checking to see if everything is all right"

the robot tries to explain that Kite's still physically unwell but Kite cuts him off "I'm fine Heartland" he says.

"Ah that's the spirit Kite, now that so many numbers are gathered in Heartland City, things are really heating up, so it goes without saying that I appreciate your doing this for me" Heartland tells the blond.

"It's for Hart" Kite corrects the adult "I'm dueling for Hart not you, understand?" Kite states glaring at the Holographic screen.

"Hart, Me, does it really matter? As long as you get all the numbers that what counts am I right, Kite, it's been fun chatting, but I have to run to get ready for tonight's festivities ta-ta~" Hartland says before ending the call.

Kite frown angrily and takes a deep breath before walking out of the room "Gayu... I hope you can help me" he says to himself.

Yuma and the others have arrived to the Party they've got the message from Gayu telling them that he's gonna be a little late, but he'll be joining them shortly.

"Look at all the people here for tonight's party" Bronk points out.

"I know right? I'm glad I bought a new dress for the occasion" Tori says wearing a beautiful Pink and white dress with a black ribbon.

Cathy then sneaks up from behind "Tori, you know there aren't many people could pull off a dress like that, and you almost did and I mean almost" She jokingly says to Tori.

Tori did not like that joke "Almost, huh?" Tori questions making Caswell, Yuma and Bronk look at the two girls nervously "says the one who look like they picked their outfit out of a kitty litter" she says.

"Kitty litter?" Cathy repeats before hissing at Tori

the two begin to argue and Yuma tries to stop them.

Gayu arrives to the party with his hair tied up in a high off-center ponytail on the right side and pinned with a silver, icicle-shaped tiara, he wearing a black coat completely covering his outfit just not to gain any attention yet and he hands the guard his invitation obviously he gets not without giving the guard a Autograph since he finds out that the guard is a Ai fan.

"Gayu Tsukino" Gayu looks on his right and sees a familiar dark purple hair woman standing before him.

"Hello...uh sorry what was your name again?" the blonde asks "wait how can you tell that is me?" he then asks again.

"I recognize those blue eyes everywhere" Dextra explains "and to answer your first Question, my name is Dextra" she says.

"I'll remember that, for real this time" Gayu says.

Dextra walks up to Gayu "I'd heard that you'll be performing in the party is it true?" he asks.

Gayu nods "Yeah, although It's the first time I'll be performing in a outfit like this one that I'm wearing underneath this coat" he tells the woman.

"No matter what, I'm sure you can pull it off like your last performances" Dextra reassures.

Gayu smiles at Dextra "it means a lot Dextra" he says thankfully to Dextra before seeing Luna and Artemis in their human form waving at the boy "I'm being called, wish me luck" he says as he leaves.

"Good luck, and you're going to need it too by tomorrow's event" she says as she sees Gayu walking off.

Gayu takes a deep breath as he slowly takes off his cloak revealing what is he wearing underneath it he wears a short, glittering dress with a color gradation of gray blue to pale blue at the hem, a sweetheart neckline, and a white, tulle petticoat; the dress itself is a floor length and split to his thigh on one side; a white sash is wrapped multiple times around his waist, and over the outfit is worn a slightly sheer long-sleeved gray blue bolero fastened at the collar with a large sapphire broach that has three pendants dangling from it, completing his attire are gray blue wedge heels and sapphire drop earrings.

Tori and Cathy were there and they were in awe when they see Gayu dress as a song play in their heads.

"Hey girls, you're ready?" Gayu asks the two girls making them snap out of their thoughts

"O-Oh yeah, just a little nervous, never thought I get to do this in this party" Tori nervously confesses.

Gayu giggles "that's okay, I've been there, trust me I still get panic attack before performing on stage, but I know I can pull it off, let's just go out there and look good" Gayu encourages his female friends "we got this" he says before he, Cathy, and Tori hearing Heartland talking.

"Are you ready, makes some noise" Heartland shouts as the crowd cheers as Gayu feels uneasy with the host of the carnival due to what he sees from Hart's memories "welcome to one and only Heartland! Are you ready to get this Party Started!" He continues as the crowd cheers "as you all know the world duel Carnival finals starts tomorrow, so without further ado meet one of our twenty-three finalists, you may know him as Ai performing for all of you here's Gayu Tsukino!" Heartland says before the hologram turns off and the crowd cheer.

Tori and Cathy were the first to walk out confusing Caswell, Bronk and Yuma who are in the crowd.

"What are Cathy and Tori doing there?" Bronk question.

Caswell looks at where Cathy and Tori walk out and his eyes widen with shock "Is that, Gayu!?" Caswell questions out of shock.

Yuma, Quattro, Quinton, and Kite watches the blonde walking down the stair and couldn't help but admire the gracefulness of Gayu's natural beauty as a song played in their head

The trio begins to shake their ass in making Yuma fall on his back with a nosebleed while Quattro smirks Kite and Quinton were flustered by it.

Dextra who's standing with Kite sees his reaction and couldn't help but look away while holding her laughter.

The song ends and the party guest applaud/cheered Tori and Cathy take a sigh with relief, and they left the stage with the backup dancers Leaving Gayu alone on stage; Gayu stands straight and takes a bow before the light turns off again.

Gayu then turn off his head-piece microphone "Now what?" Gayu questions before hearing a sound of a maniac laugh echoing the entire room.

Then a spotlight pointed at the entrance showing Vetrix standing there making Gayu frown as Vetrix walks through the crowd while complimenting the giant cake in front of him. he walks up the stair where Gayu's standing and tries to leave but feels something that made him immobilized.

Vetrix and Gayu have a stare down "W-Who are you?" Heartland questions making Vetrix look at Heartland.

"You mean me? the name is Vetrix" the Shota responds before running up the stairs to where Heartland is standing.

'Vetrix...' Gayu thinks before falling on his butt.

"We've been expecting you Vetrix" Heartland says kneeling down the masked Shota.

"And you can expect this I will crush all the finalists and I'm a man of my word" Vetrix says before running down the steps and looking out a the audience "Such a lovely party! I look forward to getting to know you better" he says before looking down at Yuma who looks surprised and then look on his left and sees Gayu as he gets up "Or at the very least, two of you" he says before giggling and then starts laughing before the spotlights turn off and then the lights turn back on and Vetrix was no longer seen leaving everyone in the party confused.

Gayu turn on his Microphone "Well, that's one of the things that we'll be expecting from tomorrow's event, is every duelist for themselves, good luck my fellow finalists... you're gonna need it" he says before turning off his microphone and leaves the room.

Gayu walks out of the party not aware of the crash going on caused by Flip; Gayu then stops walking and senses Kite's presence "Hello, Kite" Gayu says as he turns back and sees Kite standing there "Listen, about Hart-" Gayu tries to tell Kite but the blonde cuts him off.

"I know...Quattro, and Trey told me about it" he explains.

"I'm sorry..." Gayu apologize.

Kite shakes his head "don't waste time apologizing for something that isn't in your control" Kite tells Gayu "I don't know what's going on but this Vetrix guy, is a huge threat despite not appealing threatening" he says, "I suggest that you should be careful with him" Kite then warns Gayu.

"I can tell that from a mile away as well, when he was facing me I felt like my body froze by just his gaze" Gayu confesses.

"I see...Gayu there's something I want to know... How was he when he was with you?" Kite asks out of curiosity.

Gayu looks down thinking about the day he spent with Hart, so he tells him everything "Hart is a sweet kid, though he seems to be lacking expressing emotions at first but as time passes, he seems to start showing a glint of happiness and that he's enjoying himself, and I let him call me Moon Boy one time, even if it's impossible for Hart to express any emotions...I want him to at least feel the enjoyment of being a child while he still is" Gayu explains only to flinch when he sees Kite headbutting a tree "Kite!" Gayu calls the blonde.

"O-Oh Hart..." Kite sobs having his head leaning on the tree.

Gayu feels empathy for Kite and walks up to him and hugs the taller blonde.

"Gayu?" Kite asks.

Gayu looks up at Kite "I-I thought you needed one" Gayu says before hugging Kite closely.

Kite looks at the Blonde in a dress and hugs him back "Thank you, Gayu" he thanked Gayu.

"no problem at all" he says before then the two let go of each other.

Gayu then looks at Kite for a moment before leaving the place.

Kite feels a headache in his head and sees flashes of Sailor Galaxy's memories.

Is the next day and he meets up with Tori and the others to mee up with Yuma who was asleep napping outside of Heartland city, Tori decided to wake him up by pinching his cheek.

"Don't tell me you camped out here all night?" Tori questions the sleepy male.

Yuma sits up "Did I doze off two classes again?" Yuma asks.

"Yuma's only half away, guys" Flip says.

"You may be right, Flip, but I can't tell which half is awake" Caswell agrees.

"He was catnapping" Cathy states.

"Shake those cobwebs out of your head, you're right outside Hartland the World Duel Carnival finals are gonna get underway any minute" Bronk tells Yuma.

Gayu places a hand on Bronk's shoulder "allow me, Bronk" Gayu says before kneeling to Yuma and kisses his cheek "come on Yuma the finals are going to start any minute now, and I don't want you to be a no-show" he tells Yuma.

Yuma light ups now fully awake "You're right, come on!" Yuma says as he runs off while the others follow.

"All in favor in letting Gayu be the one waking Yuma up from now on, say Ai" Caswell says.

"Ai" the others respond.

While Yuma and Gayu were running Yuma looks at the blonde "Hey Gayu, are you going to perform today?" Yuma asked.

Gayu shakes his head "not today, My mom thought it was a good idea to focus more on dueling in this round since is the finals" Gayu explains.

Yuma then nods "Alright then, let's do our best! No offence but I'm not planning on losing" Yuma says.

Gayu giggles "I wouldn't expect you to hold back on me, but if I find out that you are then we're going to have a problem" he says as the two of them laugh but at the same time they know that once the finals starts is every duelist for themselves.

"Hello dueling fans, welcome ladies and gentlemen to the World Duel Carnival finals" Heartland announces as the audience cheer "we'll start with the skyscape section, the duels will be held all across the city with the aid of the duel coaster" Mister Heartland explains pointing at the roller coaster behind him.

"A duel coater?" Flip and Cathy repeat.

"Yeah, it's a first you have to win duels while riding the roller coaster" Caswell explains.

Tori looks at Bronk "how would that work?" She asks

"I ain't got the slightest but it sounds super cool! Are you two ready to roll?" Bronk says looking at his two friends that are going to compete in the r

"You bet! I'm ready for anything" Yuma responds as Gayu only nod; Yuma then looks at Gayu "Gayu, let's do our best out there" he tells the blonde.

"Definitely" Gayu responds before walking down the steps.

"Whatever happens I'm just gonna have fun and feel the flow" Yuma says before running after Gayu.

"Good luck you two!" Tori yells wishing the two duelists the best of luck.

After a while Gayu and Yuma arrived at the arena with the others finalist

"It's the moment you duel devotees have been waiting four, our twenty-three finalists are ready to use their knowledge and skills to the ultimate test of dueling agility, but only one of them will emerge as our first world duel champion ever!" Gayu hears Heartland explaining as the crowd cheer.

"That Duel Coaster looks like the most awesome thrill machine of all time" Yuma states.

Gayu nods "Yeah, although I may not be a rollercoaster person, but I don't mind riding on one in order to compete" Gayu points out.

"That's not some kiddie coaster in an amusement park" Gayu hears a familiar voice from behind him and sees Dextra.

"Dextra" Gayu states

"It'll be the riskiest ride you ever took; I suggest you to be triple of careful when you get on that ride, I want my rival to be at his hundred percent best when we face each other in a duel" she says to Gayu which the blonde smirk.

"Thanks for the warning, Dextra, may the best wins" he says as Dextra nods and make her leave.

Gayu then notices three guys staring at Yuma which made him feel unsure 'Those three seemed to be staring at Yuma since we both got here, I must warn Yuma, but...' Gayu thinks before looking at Yuma speaking to Astral 'I have a feeling that I should be careful with these guys' he adds as he then notices Quinton and Kite staring at each other 'Kite must have frozen the time just to find those who has numbers when nobody noticed' Gayu adds.

"Now the moment we've all been waiting for is finally here, finalist take your places in the coaster cars" Heartland says as all finalists had got in their respective cars "Link your duel tabs to the central coaster computer and get ready to battle" he then instructs the finalist who then activate their duel disk duel gazer and gazer tattoos in a certain few duelists case "And now it's time to put all the duel coaster cars into gear, the heart pieces you collected from your previous duels will act as the ignition key for your individual coaster car, just place it in the ignition pad and you'll be ready to roll" Heartland then explains as the finalist did as they instructed "It's show time everyone, the greatest duel of all time will now get underway, begin on my mark" Heartland says as Gayu closes his eyes and everything around him gets silence as if is only him in a room of darkness.

'Mother...Father...I hope you're watching' Gayu thinks before opening his eyes.

"Ten seconds to go" Hartland says as he makes a countdown till, he shouts for the number one and the carts drive off...well except for Yuma's.

-With Gayu-

Gayu's on his car looking around for any opponent but when he looks forward, he sees a card in front of him and is a spell card Dian Keto the Cure Master it fires glitter on Gayu and gains him a thousand life points.

Gayu: 4000 - 5000

Gayu sighs and hears a loud sound of a singing voice but a very off key.

"Who the hell?" Gayu questions as he looks back

Gayu sees a young person who appeals more feminine who sports a short lavender and wavy hairdo that spikes up at the ends; They have a petite body and is below average in height for both male and female.

"Who are you?" He asks.

"Don't mind me just somebody who here to show that I can be the best in everything, and why not that challenging the one with the Queen Serenity card" they said as a number twenty-one number marked on her left cheek.

"Oh no" Gayu mutters to himself.

"Oh, my it seems like our favorite Idol Gayu's in a tough situation against the self-proclaimed all-rounder idol Najimi?" Heartland questions while Yuma, Shark, Quattro, Quiton, and Kite and Vetrix were seeing Gayu and Najimi about to start their duel from their holographic screen.

Kite frowns at this "Najimi is one of those duelists who possesses a number card, I hope Gayu's okay, I shouldn't worry too much for him he can deal with them" Kite says to himself before continuing ahead.

meanwhile Quattro and Shark were racing each other "You can do it, Gayu...I know you can" Shark mutters before he continues on his chase.

'Shark's interested in Gayu too, huh? We'll just see which one of us will get the chance first' Quattro thinks.

Quinton and Vetrix were only watching Gayu with silence.

"Only one way to find out, I summon, Etoile Cyber!" Najimi shouts.

Etoile Cyber: Atk/1200

"I'll end my turn with one card face down" Najimi says before snickering.

Gayu looks at the girl with caution "I must be careful with her" he says as he draws a card "I summon Cure Marine!"

Cure Marine: Atk/1500

"Next I activate Cure Marine's special ability, by sending one card from my hand to the graveyard I can summon another cure monster from level one to four, and I summon her partner in crime, Cure Blossom" Gayu explains.

Cure Blossom: Atk/1700

"Next I activate Cure Blossom's special ability when she's special summoned to the field you take three hundred points of damage for each monster on the field since they're three in total, that's nine hundred points down for you" Gayu explains as Cure Blossom fires a barrage of cherry blossom petal and fires them at Najimi

Najimi: 4000 - 3100

"Now Cure Marine, attack Etoile Cyber with Blue Forte Wave!" Gayu yells

Cure Marine summons her Marine Tact, she then spins the center of the tact, and rainbow lights go into the gemstone tip of the tact. The tips surge with purity energy and Cure Marine spins before then shoots out an energy flower at Etoile Cyber.

"I don't think so, sugar, because I activate the trap Double Passe!" Najimi states as they take the attack instead of their monster.

Najimi: 3100 - 1600

"Double Passe changes your monster's attack to a direct attack on me and now my monster that you were about to attack gets to attack you! and when Etoile Cyber attacks someone directly her attack points increase by six hundred" Najimi says.

Etoile Cyber: Atk/1200 → 1800

Etoile Cyber charges at attack Gayu directly giving him a hard spinning kick.

Gayu: 5000 - 3200

"Damn, I'll end my turn with a face down, you're up" Gayu says finishing his turn.

"You should've attack me with Cure Blossom, but I get the feeling that you have other plans for me" Najimi says before going for drawing a card "I draw! to start things off I'm tributing my Etoile Cyber to summon Cyber Prima!"

Cyber Prima: Atk/2300

"Next I activate the spell: Cyber Fanatic! this spell card only activates when I have a Cyber Monster on the field, this bring back a monster from the graveyard to my field as the same level monster as Cyber Prima so welcome back Etoile!" Najimi explains.

Etoile Cyber: Level/4 → 6

Najimi smirks as she gets surrounded by a dark aura making Gayu frown "here it comes" he says to himself

"Now watch me build the overlay network with Both Etoile Cyber and Cyber Prima!" Najimi yells.

their two-monsters turn into spheres of different shades of yellow light flying into the sky as on the rails in front of them opened a purple and yellow blackhole which the two monsters flew into creating a pillar of light.

"I Xyz summon Number 21: Frozen Lady Justice!" Najimi yells as a new monster appears floating above them.

Number 21: Frozen Lady Justice: Atk/500

"Now Lady Justice will gain a thousand attack points for each overlay unit she owns" Najimi explains.

Gayu's two monsters turn into spheres of blue and red light flying into the sky as on the rails in front of them opened a purple and yellow blackhole which the two monsters flew into creating a pillar of light.

"She is the Pretty Guardian, who fights for love and for justice, She is Sailor Moon!" Gayu shouts while Sailor Moon appears above the blonde "And in the name of the Moon, we'll punish you!" Gayu states while he and Sailor Moon strikes the same pose.
