Chapter 13
Eliana Adler's POV

All the dead bodies of the wolves lay cold on the hard ground. I stood in the middle, staring down at the blood bath. surrounded by the hundreds of tombs with blood splatter on it. How did this happened? My eyes widen when I saw a name on one of the tombs, it was written Rose Adler, it's my Nan's name. My hands shaking and lips quivering, how did she died? I took a moment to look around the place, everywhere I look there were trees and sound of birds chirping. The sunlight couldn't came through the thick forest, so it was kinda dark. How did I end up here? Suddenly I saw this bright illuminating light, it was coming from an oak tree. The trees was scary and huge, the light was coming from a mark. I know this mark! it's the Celtic dara knot. It was like the tree was calling me, I hesitantly and slowly put my fingers on the mark, tracing it down. A sudden ring of bells overpowered me, blocking every other sounds. I covered my ears in defence. I struggled, my ears bleeding. This bright light emerged through the thick branches of the trees and I open my eyes, my heart racing faster, everything still blurry. It was a nightmare, I felt a little relaxed. My heavy breath became steady. I realised the sound of the bells were coming from my alarm clock which was beside my bed. I turn it off and get up from my bed. I yawned and stretched my body.

I washed my face with warm water and get ready for school. I wear a comfortable outfit with matching accesories. After getting ready I walk downstairs. I stopped on the way down to stairs as I heard loud laughing noises, it scared the shit out of me but then I realised that Gramps must be behind this loud laugh. But why is he practicing inside the house? Didn't he went to his laughing class today? I walk down the stairs and saw him laughing in the middle of the living room.

"No class today?" I said loudly for him to hear properly. His attention turn towards me.

"Yes, our trainer went on a road trip, so it's a holiday" he replied back and went back to his laughing session. It's a little weird to see someone laughing without any reason. I walk passed him and settle down in the table for breakfast. Nan pass me the cereal box and a bowl full of milk. Without wasting any of my time I quickly started eating the food.

After finishing my food, I left for school. Gramps was busy laughing and nan hugged me before leaving. I drive the car and soon reached the school campus. It was decently crowded. I walk through the hallway ignoring everyone's attention, I was not in the mood to think what they were thinking about me. The nightmare that I saw flashed through my eyes. Why did I saw everyone's grave? Why we're all wolves dead? So many questions raise in me. It possible that I was nervous and unconsciously my mind was filled with all those nightmares that could happen if I messed this up. I took a deep breath and walk towards my class.

I open the classroom door and for a split of second I saw everyone's eyes were gouge out of their socket, blood rolling down their cheeks and they were giving me a chelsea smile. I blinked and everything went back to normal, some students started at me with a weird look, my expression looked like I saw a ghost. Without much thinking about it I walked into the class and settle down in my usual seat. Something is wrong with me, I am seeing unusual things. Am I possessed or something? I should definately think about positive stuffs.
The mathematics teacher enter the class with his usual glum and serious face, he always look like he is pissed off at everyone. Without talking much he started writing something on the board and when he was done, everyone sighed and looked frustrated including me. It was a surprise mathematic test today which was not at all necessary, atleast they could have inform us about it. It's not necessary to take exams with a surprise, I hate that idea.

The teacher handed us the question paper and put timer on his phone watch. "Everyone you have 30 minutes to finish the test. Good luck" with that he signal us to start the exam.

With a sad look, I took out my notebook and started scribbling down whatever came to my mind. I was not at all interested in giving this exam today but I have no other choice. I was not even prepared so I am definately failing this. Suddenly my phone vibrated and I saw Zachary's name popping up on the screen. Why is he calling me? He knows I am at the school. I didn't respond to the call and went back to my maths paper. My phone vibrate again and it was again Zachary. I can't pick it up, specially not during the maths class, the teacher is very rude. Something must be impossible otherwise he wouldn't have called me twice, specially when I am at school. Maybe he find out the real skin-walker. I tried to ignore my phone and move my hand in a greater speed to finish off the paper as fast as I can. If I finish it I can leave faster.

My phone beeped and thousands of messages popped up on the notification bar, all from Zachary. Before I could scroll down to see the messages, the phone was aggressively snatched from my hand. I looked up to see our maths teacher staring at me with a furious and angry expression. Shit! I fucked up. This is not the right time for detention.

"Miss Adler, to the principal office now and your phone will be kept to me untill school is over, also I'll make your home work twice as a punishment" the teacher practically screamed in my face. This is bad, I need my phone without it I cannot talk to Zach.

"Sorry sir, I promise I am not going to use my phone again in the class" I said in a apologizing tone. This teacher is like a rock, none of the emotions work on him.

"You can said all those things to the principal, now leave and don't waste my time" he demanded. I should not make him more angry, he might not give me back my phone at all. Without talking much I took my things and walk out of the class. Everyone's eyes were on me and some were whispering. But to be honest atleast I am save from the exam, yeah I might get a punishment but it's fine for me. The problem is that I have to wait to get my phone back. What could Zachary send me? Is he in trouble? What if my nightmare come true? Ok, it's just a stupid thought, obviously it's not going to come true.

"What are still doing here? Go to the principal's office. Do you need the directions now?" The math teacher scold me. I realised that I was still standing outside the classroom, foolish of me.

"Sorry sir" I quickly walk towards the office. Only two or three people were roaming around the hallway, others were inside their respective classroom. As I reached the office I slightly knock on the door. I heard the principal's voice saying "come in" and I walked into the room. He was sitting on his desk, staring at his laptop. He turned his attention towards me.

"Eliana, there is a strict rule it stated that you cannot use your phone during the class and I am sure that you knew about it. Then why were you not paying attention to your exam and texting your friend?" I was obviously not texting, that teacher just lied about me. I just picked up the phone to see some of the texts but he snatched it before I could see anything. I am definately going to get detention now, moreover I'll not get my phone until school is over. I guess lying would be the best option for now.

"Actually my grandma is a little sick and the texts were from my grandpa. I told him to keep me notify about grandma's condition. They are my only family you know and I don't want to lose them" I lied but the last part was completely true, the nightmare was reminding me of Nan's grave again and again. The principal looked a little soft by my reply.

"Ok you can go to your class, give your exam but you will get your phone back after the school is over" the principal said. I need my phone back and I absolutely do not want to give that exam. Maybe I should try to find Zachary, I don't know if he is at school or not but I can try.

"Thank you sir" after saying that I left. Fuck class, I am finding Zachary. I need to tell him about my nightmare, it could be side effect of being a seer but I can't take my chances. It's first class is usually Chemistry, I walk to the chemistry laboratory and sneakily peek through the glass door. I scan the room but couldn't find Zachary. Where is he? I run to the chemistry class but it was empty. He might not be present today. I search through other two possible classes but he was not their either.

I don't even remember his number and I didn't even brought that motel card, so I can't call him. Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder which startled me in fear. I turn around and saw Chloe with her usual emo attire but I notice tears rolling down her eyes. Why is she crying?

"What happened?" I asked with a concerned look.

"Something terrible has happened to Henry, he is acting weird" she said while sobbing. Acting weird? He must be the skin walker. Maybe Zachary knew about this and he was trying to inform me.

"Where is he?" I asked.

"He....he..killed that poor janitor gruesomely, I think he is going to kill me too" Chloe said hyperventilating. God! He killed the janitor, I have to hurry and do something. But I don't know how to hurt a skin walker. Ok, atleast I can try to stop it from killing someone else.

"Where is the body Chloe?" I asked.

"Backside of the school, I saw Henry dragging the janitor's body" Chloe said, her voice was dry and she sounded scared.

"Can you bring me phone back from the teacher's lounge? it must be inside Mr. Mathews locker, the maths teacher" I asked Chloe, she stare at me with a confused look. I can't do this alone, I need to tell Zachary. I don't know what he was trying to inform me.

"Why would you do that?" She asked.

"I'll tell you everything later, now find my phone and bring it to me" after saying that I left. I walk outside the school and run towards the dead body, the location that Chloe told me.

When I reached their I smelled a pungent scent, it must be coming from the body. I covered my nose and slowly walk towards it. My eyes became widen and my jaw dropped, the sight was unexpected. Henry's dead cold body was laying on the ground with his mouth open and hand and legs twisted, it seems like he was missing his liver. But how? He supposed be the skin-walker, how is he dead? Shit! I messed up. Chloe lied to me, no it means she is not Chloe, she is the skin-walker. It was a trap. How did i not see that coming? I should have been careful. I heard clapping noise and I turn around to see Chloe, she had this evil smile on her face. She knew she succeeded in her plan. I hope the real Chloe is fine and this skinwalker didn't kill her.

"Poor Eliana always get into trouble, why don't you just die already?" She said with an attitude. Maybe I can hit her with something but as far as I know they can heal themselves so it might be useless. Okay I can stall her untill I get an idea.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked.

"Sorry not interested in chatting with a seer, you and your stupid werewolf friend destroy the water system" she said furiously.

"So you need me then, I am the only one who can stop this" I said with a smirk.

"Oh it's that what Zachary told you" she said with a laugh. What does she mean? Suddenly she started chanting something in weird language. I felt this invisible powerful force which was making my head ache from extreme pain. What she doing? I try to get up but the force was too powerful.

"Now it's time to take a nap" I heard Chloe's voice then I felt something hard against my head and everything turns black, I fell unconsciously on the ground.
