The next morning I woke up with a pounding headache, I groaned and pulled my hands from under the comforter to grip my head.

I opened my eyes and slowly got off the bed, making sure not to wake Marina, who was sleeping like a baby.

I walked to her closet and pulled out something to wear, I grabbed a t-shirt and leggings, something comfortable.

I sighed and walked to the bathroom, wanting to take a shower and clean the sweat and dirty water from last night off me.

I bit my lip once I shut the door, my shoulders slumping as I shook my head.

I can't believe I exposed myself like that, I can't believe I told them.

I hit my head with my hands a couple of times before groaning quietly and quickly peeling off the once beautiful white dress from my body.

I threw it in the bin for the dirty clothes and sighed, then I removed my dirty undergarments and also threw them into the bin.

Then I slowly made way to the beautiful shower, really looking forward to getting clean.

Once I finished my shower, I got dressed and brushed my teeth, then I cautiously made way out of Marina's room and downstairs to the kitchen.

When I walked down the grand staircase there weren't many people downstairs, which was both pleasant and weird.

With furrowed brows I finally reached the bottom, then slid through the small group of people and quickly ran to the kitchen.

When I walked in I saw that Lexie was inside, all alone with her hands on her hips and disgust embraced on her features.

I ignored her and walked to a cabinet, taking out a box of fruity pebbles to eat.

Before I could even open the box and get a bowl Lexie growled causing me to snap my head her way, in alert.

"You can't be his mate." She stated aggressively, Lia growled inside me and I shook my head while sighing.

"If only that were true." I mumbled sadly, she smirked.

"Anyway, why would he choose you over me?" She asked me teasingly, I shrunk back at the glare she sent my way.

"Well he made it clear he cared for me last night, when he helped me out." I lied, trying my hardest to prove to her, my mate loved me. She growled out loudly and stalked towards me, I gasped and backed up.

"He is not your's!" She shrieked out, while her cheeks flushed, I smirked and scoffed, then opened my mouth to say something.

"You are weak and pathetic! Nobody here even knows you! And the only time you have his attention, is when he beats you!" She yelled at me, smirking in enjoyment of the tears that were forming in the corner of my eyes.

"Dustin is mine! We don't need a bond to prove that because he loves me and hates you!" She claimed while narrowing eyes, my bottom lip trembled while I shook my head.

"The bond won't allow it." I cried out in frustration, wanting to believe that the person I wanted to love, loved me back.

She scoffed and flicked her hair back, I felt like an outsider, she was beautiful and strong, whereas I wasn't.

"Dustin is mine, should I prove it?" She asked me in a menacing voice, my eyes widened.

Suddenly she slapped herself causing me to cry out and she scraped her cheeks with her long fake nails, blood slowly oozed out making my stomach churn.

"Stop it!" I yelled at her, keeping my hands fisted since I couldn't move, she smiled evilly and continued.

She started tugging her hair causing me to gasp and then she started screaming, loudly.

My brows furrowed, tears started streaming out of her eyes, my mouth fell open.

Suddenly a beautiful scent invaded my nostrils making me spin around in fear, Lexie sobbing even louder.

Dustin looked angry, he glared at me and then looked at Lexie and ran to her quickly.

"What happened?!" He asked loudly while I turned around to face both of them, Lexie smirked my way, making sure her lips were hidden from Dustin.

"S-she h-hit me. Because-I said I loved y-you." She lied in a really fake yet sad voice, I gasped and shook my head.

Dustin growled loudly and sent a cold yet dangerous look my way, tears welled up in my own eyes.

"What!" Dustin yelled out in a dark voice, his eyes darkening and I heard Lexie start sobbing quietly, faking everything.

"S-she's lying!" I protested, begging him with my eyes to believe me, but through the dark cold eyes, I knew he didn't.

My heart broke, and Lexie secretly smiled, happy that she was able to prove her point.

"Dustin is mine, should I prove it?"

He stalked towards me and his jaw clenched, I knew what that meant.

"Beta John! Bring her to the cell!" He growled out in his alpha tone, his voice echoing through the halls.

I gasped and shook my head, fear swirling inside me, nerves building up and suddenly, two large hands grabbed me and started pulling me away.

"Let me go! S-she's lying!" I yelled out, sobs escaping my lips because my mate didn't believe me, he believed the girl that was secretly smiling behind his back.

I thrashed in his beta's arms, but his grip tightened causing me to whimper, they were going to hurt me once again.

My heart was clenching, and once we had reached the dark cell, I knew what I had in store.

John threw me on the ground and I cried out, trying to beg him with my eyes to let me go.

He smirked and shook his head, then he quickly tied the same silver chains as last time around my wrists.

I screamed out and tried tugging away from his hold, but it was too late, he had fully chained me.

He chuckled darkly and walked out of the room, slamming the cell door shut causing me to flinch.

I cried out loudly, my heart thumping erratically.

"Let me go! I didn't do anything!" I screamed loudly, my blood boiling and the fear becoming too hard to handle.

Lia left me because of the silver, and she could no longer help, she was already weakening and it was becoming too much for both of us.

I let out a blood curling scream and tears freely swam down my face, blurring my vision and wetting my cheeks.

It had already been a couple of hours, I stopped crying, not because I didn't want to but because I couldn't.

I had no more tears nor energy left, everything was becoming too hard.

My gaze was fixated on the ground below me, I was gnawing on my bottom lip nervously and my heart kept skipping beats.

Suddenly the door slammed open, I snapped my head up only to see an angry alpha storm in and slam it back shut.

I flinched and cowered back, my bottom lip trembling as he stalked closer to me.

"I warned you." He whispered menacingly, sending shivers down my spine.

"I warned you and you went against me! And you injured my girlfriend! I freakin' warned you, your pathetic!" He yelled out at me, yet I stayed unmoving, even though I wanted to cry and scream, I couldn't.

He growled loudly, and yet I still didn't move, his cold glare remained on me, but I remained frozen in fear.

"Beta John, bring me the usual punishment-" he paused to smirk, "-that is given to people who go against an alpha's order." He continued in a sadistic tone, I gulped and whimpered lowly, finally showing him the fear he wanted to see.

I trembled as his cold gaze remained on me, I truly despised  this man.

"I hate you." I whispered sadly, holding a hand to my aching chest, he growled.

"I really hate you." I repeated, stings of pain lingering on my heart making me arch my back.

Dustin just stood there, he didn't care because he wanted this, and he showed me how much he loved my pain, not me.
