one hundred eighteen.
FLASHBACK
"Daddy! Daddy!" The young girl called out, her high-pitched voice echoing melodically throughout the castle.
"Yes my princess?" Her father answered as he walked out of his office.
He made way towards his daughter whom skipped in small circles, while her long brown hair bounced over her shoulders and her yellow dress swayed with her every turn.
"Can I be a fairy?" She asked him, all while skipping - he chuckled at her behavior before kneeling down with a soft grunt.
His gaze was glued on his beautiful daughter - his young princess, an alpha female. Whom he loved with every being of his heart.
"My sweet girl, you can be whatever you want to be. But my princess, do you know what you will always be? Always, and always?" He asked her, while widening his eyes to catch her attention.
She stopped and turned to face him while breathing heavily due to all the exertion of energy and stomping on her feet impatiently.
"What! What!" She clapped eagerly, wanting to know what she can be forever, her father chuckled before grabbing her small hand.
"Daddy's girl!" He told her before pulling her in for a bear hug, and standing on his feet, she yelped when he suddenly raised her off the ground before chuckling into his broad chest.
"Yay!" She squealed when her father threw her up in the air and then swiftly caught her - his eyes shining with complete adoration for the small pup.
Her melodic chuckles filled his ears, and the sound of his steady heartbeat echoed throughout the castle.
Everyone that was already inside of the castle was able to hear the King and Princesses happy laughter, and her happy squeals, making them all smile widely due to the mood being contagious.
The Kingdom was at peace in her presence. She was their little happiness.

THIRD PERSON
"A devil! It's a devil my King!" A guard yelled out, his face hard and his hand raised in the air.
"We all know that already, but what kind is it!?" The King asked worriedly, creasing his forehead in complete confusion.
"Nobody knows that. We just know that it's dangerous! It's already killed off a lot of packs! Who knows whose next!" Another male yelled out, his voice shaky and scared making everyone boo him.
"Why do you sound terrified Micheal? We are a Kingdom mixed with wolves and vampires! We can take anyone down!" The King asked him, his jaw clenched and his hands fisted.
"I am not terrified my King! Just worried." Micheal responded unsurely, gazing at his pack-mates for some help - but nobody in the crowd even looked his way.
"No need to be worried Micheal. It is probably just a crazed, bloodthirsty wolf looking for a snack." Somebody else stated mockingly, making everyone chuckle - including the timid King who towered over them all.
"Alright people, enough! Enough! You will all go back to your previous positions and stay alerted, for bloodthirsty pup or not, we need to be careful! This meeting is adjourned, and we will meet back here tonight to finish off the conversation!"
Everyone yelled out a quick 'aye' before walking away as the King watched them with concerned and squinted eyes.
The wind around them wasn't strong, it was just a small breeze, but it was the sky that was worrisome.
The clouds were a dark gray but it wasn't even noon yet, and the woods look a bit foggy - which they barely ever were.
The King brushed it off before walking inside. His analyzation of the woods wasn't thorough enough, because if he had taken a second longer to look closer he would've seen what was hiding behind the thick fog.
Or more likely, creating it.
He also would've probably seen the red eyes that watched them all.
That glared at his people that walked away like a hungry predator, waiting for when the time is right to attack.

"King Roderick, it seems as though he's just taken off." Luke stated, gulping when he finished because of the cold glare he received from his King.
"What do you mean, he ran off?" The King gritted out angrily, with his fist clenched so tightly that Luke feared his claws ripped right through the skin of his palms.
"Exactly that. Dustin is no where to be found. He is no longer in the cells, and his scent is faint." Luke explained slowly and softly - hoping not to trigger his King into shifting into his wolf and biting his head off.
"Where does his scent end?" The King asked with his lips curled up angrily, Luke gulped before averting his gaze to the ground.
"By the woods." Luke stated, his heart beating fast and all ten of his fingers shaking - even though he wasn't in the wrong, the presence of the Kings wolf was too strong to handle.
"Why did he leave his own territory? Especially without saying anything?" The King asked, shaking his head when the idea of stripping Dustin of his Alpha position came to mind.
"Nobody knows that. His pack members have been searching everywhere for him. They said they couldn't find him, which could only mean one thing." Luke paused to look his King in the eyes respectfully.
"His wolf took complete control." He finished lowly, gnawing on his bottom lip when he watched the Kings eyes widen.
"But that boy has never shifted twice in a matter of the same month! Does he not know how bad that could be for him?!" The King asked, almost worriedly - but it was not Dustin he was worried for.
"I know that, and his pack knows that as well. Which could also mean that his wolf forcefully shifted, because he apparently wouldn't give his wolf control on purpose ever." Luke stated, his brows furrowing as the conversation expanded because by now even he was confused.
"So why the hell hasn't anyone found him yet?! We can not look for two bloodthirsty monsters! One is more then enough!" The King yelled out, his fist slamming over the desk making Luke flinch at the unexpected sound.
"I-I don't know." Was Luke's hesitant response, and with it came an enraged growl from the King, making Luke bow his head in immediate submission.
"Is your response to everything going to be 'you do not know'? If so, then why are you still here? Go find out!" The order shook the walls in the office and sent Luke running out of it.
His heart was beating very quickly, and fear swam in the pit of his stomach - his King was indeed a scary man.
But his King did not appreciate short responses that brought them nowhere - when he wanted something done, he wanted it done in an instant.
