"How's Rikki?" Emma asked that evening.

"She's still sleeping," Zac told her. "And she keeps muttering stuff about Christmas, and the Easter Bunny. Nixie volunteered to stay with her tonight."

"I still can't believe that Rikki drank my potion," Mimmi shook her head and placed her head in her hands.

"If only Erik had drunk it..." Lyla sighed, thoughtfully.

"Exactly," Ondina muttered.

Zac, Evie, Cleo, Emma, Mimmi, Ondina and Lyla were all sat around a table in Rikki's. Bella and Sirena were getting ready to perform a duet on stage, with Lewis on the drums and Nate on the keyboard. They had told Zane what happened to Rikki, and they had made up a lie for Sophie, who had been pestering them all afternoon about where Rikki was.

"She just felt a bit sick," Evie said.

"She went home with Nixie," Sirena nodded.

"She never said she felt ill," Sophie crossed her arms. "She should have told me."

"She doesn't have to tell you every single event that happens in her life," Lyla said defensively.

Sophie laughed. "And she'd tell you? She's known you for, like, three days!! I've known her a lot longer then that."

Lyla began to raise her hand towards Sophie, but Zac stopped her. "She's not worth it," Zac said, grabbing Lyla's wrist. "Why don't you save your magic to use on Erik?" He suggested, escorting Lyla over to a seat, much to Evie's disliking.

"Poor Rikki," Cleo said. "I hope she gets better soon."

"I'll be working on a cure as soon as I wake up tomorrow," Mimmi said suddenly. "Lewis said he'd research some stuff for me."

"And I'll help you," Emma nodded to Mimmi.

"Well, let's just try to enjoy tonight," Zac suggested. "And we'll make sure Erik pays back tomorrow."

"Weren't we going to wait for a full moon so we could get inside the Chamber?" Cleo reminded them.

"We don't have time for that now," Ondina replied. "We have lost nearly all our moon rings, and now Rikki can't help us anymore."

Just then the lights went dark, and the spotlights lit up the stage. Everyone turned to look.

"Hey," Nate said, grabbing his microphone and wriggling his eyebrows. "This is a song for all the ladies in the house. Yeah-"

"Oh dear," Emma whispered.

"-Actually, this is a song for everyone in the café tonight," Bella corrected Nate through her microphone. "But we're dedicating this song to Rikki, the girl who the café is named after, because, unfortunately, she isn't feeling too well tonight, and we want her to get better as quickly as possible."

"Great," Mimmi sighed, slumping down in her seat. "Why doesn't she just announced to the whole world my mistake!"

Zac put his arm around his sister. "It wasn't your fault," Zac consoled her. "We can call Rita tomorrow and see if she can help us if Rikki isn't better."

"And we'd also like to welcome a new singer to our band, only here for a few nights, please welcome: Sirena!!" Bella announced.

Sirena politely waved to the audience who clapped, Zac and his table of friends cheering as loudly as they could.

They began by singing an upbeat song Bella had wrote. Bella and Sirena sang a verse each, and then sang the chorus together, their voices in perfect harmony. When they had finished they received a massive applause from the audience, a few people even stood up for them!

Then they sang 'Across The Sea', which gave them an even bigger round of applause.

"Thank you!" Nate said, extremely proud of himself. "We're going to take a short fifteen minute break, but we're leaving a sheet of paper right here on the stage, of you have a request, feel free to write it down. If your a lady, you could also write your phone number-"

"Okay!!" Bella interjected. "Thanks Nate! We'll be back in fifteen minutes!"

"Sirena, that was amazing!" Evie said.

Sirena smiled as she sat down with Bella. "Thank you Evie."

"You were really good too," Zac said to Bella.

Bella smiled. "Thanks." She looked around. "But where's Will?"

"I don't know who that is," Ondina replied.

"I haven't seen Will for ages," Emma commented.

"He didn't even come to the sleep over in the café when it was the full moon," Mimmi remembered.

Bella sat up. "You don't think Erik-"

"Erik shouldn't even know who Will is," Lyla said reassuringly.

Bella picked up her phone. "Maybe I should give him a call?"

Just then Nate ran up to them. "Guys, we're back on stage."

"Fifteen minutes has gone by already?" Sirena asked, surprised.

"No, but we have over twenty song suggestions, and we'll have to start now if we want to get through them all," Nate replied.

Belle and Sirena stood up and followed Nate to the stage.

Mimmi fiddled with the straw in her glass cup, a worried look on her face.

"Are you okay?" Lyla asked.

What?" Mimmi asked, looking up.

"Are you okay?" Lyla repeated.

Mimmi gave Lyla a confused look. "I'm fine," Mimmi said. "Why?"

"You just looked really worried," Evie butted in Lyla's sentence.

"I'm fine," Mimmi said again. "I'm just nervous. I still can't help feeling responsible for Rikki."

"It's all Erik's result," Ondina sighed. "I can't believe what he's doing."

"Reasoning with him didn't work," Zac sighed, rubbing his back. He had been given a generous amount of bruises from when Erik threw him into the table.

Just then Bella announced into her microphone that they would start singing the requested songs.

Zac suddenly froze, his eyes wide opened, his lips slightly parted, and Mimmi did the same.

They were having another vision...

Erik was in the Merman Chamber... A girl with dark red hair was there too... There was a blonde haired woman wearing a scientific lab coat in a huge white boat... A new trident stone... Sirena and Bella singing a song... A hand writing on a piece of paper... Sirena and Bella jumping into the water at the exact same time...

Then the vision ended.

Zac and Mimmi both closed their eyes at the same time and took a deep breath.

"Zac?" Lyla asked grabbing his arm and giving him a light shake.

"Zac?" Evie looked at him, putting her hand on his shoulders.

"What was the vision about?" Ondina asked Mimmi.

"I have no idea," Mimmi opened her eyes. "But it didn't make any sense."

"There was a white boat," Zac recalled.

"And Erik with a new trident stone," Mimmi added.

"And Sirena and Bella," Zac said.

"And a girl with red hair, who I didn't recognise," Mimmi shrugged. "Do you know anyone with red hair?" Mimmi asked Cleo.

Cleo and her friend's racked their brain, but couldn't think of anyone.

Just then they heard Bella and Sirena began singing a song. No one in their friendship group had heard this song before.

No one, except Mimmi.

Mimmi sat up in her chair and listened carefully. She listened to a few more lines, and she realised what song it was.

Her eyebrows narrowed, and she scanned the room, and she was Erik, just leaving through the door...

"We have to get them to stop singing that song," Mimmi hissed to Zac.

"Why?" Zac whispered.

"This song is ancient, and very dangerous to mermaids who sing it," Mimmi quickly explained. "It's called Call To The Siren."

"And what does the song do?" Zac asked, sensing there was a bad response.

"I think Erik wrote that song on the list. They will turn into sirens, and follow his every command. And Sirena still has her moon stone..."

Zac managed to get onto his feet and jump over the table. He ran as fast as he could through the crowd of people until he got to the stage. He quickly grabbed both of the microphones.

"Hi!" He said. "I'm sorry, but we're going to have to end the karaoke there."

All the crowd began to grumble. They weren't pleased with this at all.

"Sorry guys, but Sirena and Bella aren't feeling too well," Mimmi said as soon as she got to Zac.

"What!?" Nate asked.

"...What's going on?" Lewis looked around, removing a plug from his ear.

"What's going on here?" Zane questioned Zac.

"I feel fine," Sirena said, lunging out for her microphone. "Let me sing another verse."

"Me too," Bella pleaded.

"Mimmi," Zac handed her one of the microphones. "Sing something."

"Are your crazy!?" She hissed. "I don't sing! I can't sing!"

"You're a mermaid," Zac reminded her. "No singing can beat the voice of a mermaid. Sing Across The Sea or something, just while we get Sirena and Bella out of the café."

Mimmi sung a song Sirena had once taught her, called Shine Your Light On Me. Meanwhile, Zac and Evie and Ondina pulled a screaming Sirena out of the café, and Emma, Cleo and Lyla handled Bella, who was thrashing around like mad.

"I'm being kidnapped!" Sirena yelled as Zac picked her up and carried her outside. "Stranger danger, stranger danger!!"

"Unhand me, you beast!" Bella wailed, attempting to kick Lyla in the leg. "Let me go sing another song! My fans adore me!"

"Not tonight," Cleo said.

They managed to get the two singers outside into the fresh air. They sat Sirena and Bella down. Lyla and Emma had to hold them down, because Sirena and Bella would try to sneak back into the café.

Mimmi them reappeared. "Are they okay?" She asked.

"We have no idea," Evie sighed. "Have they been affected seriously?"

"According to the myth they have to sing the full song," Mimmi looked at them. "The song is three verses, and I think they only sung two. Hopefully, they should be fine in the morning."

Ondina sighed. "First Rikki, and now Sirena and Bella?"

"All in one day as well," Cleo added.

"So tomorrow are another three of us going to go crazy?" Evie asked, worried.

"We need to make sure we stay together," Mimmi said. "Erik will stop at nothing to get the Chamber activated."

"I suggest we call Rita," Zac said. "We need to find a cure for Rikki, and one for Sirena and Bella if they don't improve. Then... I think we should go back to Rita's house."

Everyone agreed that this idea was the best...
