I made a werewolf oc, what do you guys think
(Side note; this takes place during the 1600s though for the purpose of story a lot of things will be historical inaccurate, like diverse skin colors, woman having jobs and going to school, and the such)

Appearance/ Samuel is a tall African man with a hazel brown eye with the left one missing and covered up by badges. He has black scruffy hair that covers up half his face, it was like that when he was a child so he use to it. He wears a baggy white shirt with a patchy old jacket, he also wears baggy orange pants with black boots. In his werewolf form he looks just like a regular wolf, he has no left eye and his eye is an amber instead of Hazel, and he has long black fur.

Good traits/ Samuel is just a bit then the regular human, he is polite and kind, and can be able to out wit hunters looking for wolf skin in his wolf form. He has a soft spot for dogs, wolves, and cats (will explain later) from his childhood, he is respectable too.

Bad traits/ he is borderline poor, he is scared in werewolf form he may hurt a love one, will try to stay away from anything valuable to him even if it hurts him or the thing. He can be sensitive towards others he doesn't know personal.

Backstory/ James, Samuel's father was a rapist. He had raped many men and woman, one day he had raped a witch named Margret, in anger she put a curse on that if he ever impregnated a woman that the child at the age of seven would become a werewolf. He had rapped more woman including a woman named Grace, she was to afraid to say she was raped so she lied and said that the baby was her husbands. Her and her husband had raised the baby as their own and called him Samuel, Samuel was raised to be polite and kind, when he was six his family bought a black cat named lucky, when he turned seven on a full moon his mother whiteness a Samuel in agony as he turned into a werewolf she was horrified and took a knife and stabbed him in the eye, she felt guilty for what had done, so she took the wolf pup into the basement and patched up his eye. In the morning Grace lied to Tomas about Samuels missing eye saying "he has playing with a knife in the night and accidentally stabbed his left eye out" Tomas believed his wife. So every full moon Samuel was left in the basement until he turned 13 where every night he turned into a werewolf. When he turned 19 he moved out and bought a small shack, he lived there and had gotten a job as a hunter and sold the meat to butchers for money. When he turned 24 he had married a lovely woman by the name of Jane, they had lived a happy marriage and loved both dearly. Jane became pregnant two years later, she had soon found out that Samuel was a werewolf when she witnessed him turning. She had thought he wanted to eat her and her baby soon the next day she poisoned his soup with Wolf's bane, killing him.
