[ a.k.a. when Shuri & Peter meet ]

❝ Whoa! This is awesome! Wait...is this all yours, Shuri? ❞

"Mr. Stark, with all due respect-" Peter started, trying to get out of the trip to Wakanda, even though Tony had said it MULTIPLE times that he was going, as if something was more important than going to Wakanda.

"Not now kid, it's final. You, Me & the Wizard are going to Wakanda."

"IT'S SORCEROR!" Doctor Stephen Strange yelled from the next room over. The Sorceror Supreme had had enough with the billionaire's taunts, and he didn't want to spend a couple hours on a private jet to Wakanda, but that was the only way to get there; if Strange teleported there, he would be fried by the barrier there, so that wouldn't be happening anytime soon. Apparently Stephen was told he was the 'diplomat' who would help solve problems, but he was pretty sure he was there to keep Peter from destroying everything in the country.

"Are you ready, Mr. Stark?" Friday called from Tony's glasses, which he preferred for business trips.

"Ready as I'll ever be, Friday. Call a jet, will you? I'd like to keep this interaction quick, if we can." Tony said, almost bitterly. Tony didn't (and couldn't) forget that the Wakandan Princess had shown up both him and Bruce Banner, and humiliating the duo in the process.

[ they're on the plane, one hour in. ]

"PLANES ARE SO COOL!" Peter eagerly shouted from the window seat of a private jet.

On the other hand, Stephen and Tony were not as excited as the young spiderling, as Stephen was reading a medical magazine and mentally noted every grammatical & medical error in the magazine while Tony was sleeping.

"Hey kid, can you tone it down a notch?" Tony commented, awake from his semi-blissful slumber.

"S-Sorry! I'm just...so excited! I want meet the girl who showed you up! O-Oh, that probably offensive, isn't that, s-sir? I-I'm gonna go back to my book now, Mr. Stark."

"That kid is strange." Stephen muttered as he looked through a section about a heart-transplant.

"Says the man named Stephen Strange. Don't insult the kid, he's just excited to visit someplace new. You should've seen him in Germany. He filmed it and everything." Tony said as he chuckled to himself. Peter would be the death of him one day.

[ wakanda ]
[ peter, tony & steven arrive ]

"Whoa, look at this pla-" Peter started, before he was interrupted by T'Challa himself. "D-Do I need to bow, your highness?"

"T'Challa is just fine, spiderling," He replied.

"Why does everyone call me 'spiderling'? Also, where's Princess Shuri? I want to meet her so badly!"

And right behind Peter came T'Challa's Bodyguard/Head of Security, who pulled out her knife and held it to Peter's neck. "And why is that, Mr. Parker?"

"I-I'm...umm, I just wanted to meet the girl who's smarter than Tony Stark, who's umm, my mentor?" Peter said, a little bit confused by Okoye's actions.

"Hmm...Fine. I'm watching you, Mr. Parker." Okoye motioned for the teenaged princess to come out from the jet pad, who rolled her eyes at Okoye.

"Again? This kid is harmless."

"A-Actually, Princess, I'm the same age as you, I-I'm Peter."

"Well, Peter. All, I have to ask is, WHAT ARE THOSE?!" She said, bending down to point at Peter's ridiculous fuzzy crocs with the spiderman pattern on them.

"These are my crocs!" And as soon as Peter replied, the two burst out laughing.

"I can tell they will be great friends," T'Challa whispered to Tony. Tony started laughing, only to get scolded by Okoye.

"Can I upgrade your Iron Spider suit? I'm sure Mr. Stark tried his best, but it's not up-to-date whatsoever. All the schematics are completely wrong!"

"Can she?" Peter pleaded like a puppy, as if he was getting a huge present.

"Fine. If she hacks Karen, I will not hesitate to drag you home, Pete."

"YES!" Shuri and Peter screamed, zooming away into Shuri's lab/workshop (if you could even call it that)

To say Peter and Shuri were friends was an understatement, a complete and utter understatement. They were geeking out on everything from Star Wars to Tesla's Spaceship Tests, and it was AWESOME.

"Whoa, this is awesome! Wait, Shuri, is this all yours?" Peter gestured to the wall of equipment, all extremely dangerous and could probably kill Peter if he even touched it.

"Are you always like this?"

"What do you mean?"

"Hyped up. Like you've been smoking something or you've been watching too many vine compilations."

"The second one, and no, I-I'm, just excited? I-I mean, I've always wanted to meet you, b-but here I am and it doesn't seem true?"

"PeTeR's GoT a CrUsH!" Tony yelled down the hall, to which Peter buried his face in embarrassment. And all Peter and Shuri could hear was T'Challa yelling, "Why are you running? Why are you running?!" Over and over again. Shuri started laughing at that.

"And T'Challa complains about me."

"I know what you mean, Shuri." He looked deep in thought and then as if he had found a genius idea. "Do you wanna marathon the Star Wars movies?"

"Hell yes!"

And Shuri and Peter ran off into the sunset. Or at least to the screening room.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

Hi everyone! Thanks for reading the first one-shot, which is 'The Science Bros 2.0" meeting for the first time!

I thought it'd be cool if Peter was obsessing over Shuri and being like, she's "Insanely cool, wow!" And kind of being a fankid in any given situation.

Also, I found it funny with Shuri putting Banner & Stark to shame, so I thought it'd be funny to add 'salty and bitter Tony' into the mix!
