a Limerick fun challenge ...

write a Limerick that starts with either ....

... there was a young lass on the moon

... there was a young lad on the moon

... there was .... .... .... ... the moon (fill in the blanks with anything you want. As long as it is on the moon)

(Example ... 'there was a stray cat on the moon' ... 'there was a Poets Pub on the moon' ... 'there was a mother in law on the moon')

for those who do not know the form, it is very simple ...

A limerick is a form of poetry, with 5 lines ...

The first , fourth and fifth lines are longer than the second and third.

The rhyme scheme is A , A , B , B , A (which means lines 1,2,&5 rhyme. Lines 3 & 4 rhyme)
