Jin POV:

Birthdays get harder to deal with when you are older. It becomes milestones again like when you were younger. It reminds you of what you should have done by a certain point. Being in your thirties you see all your friends having kids and getting married. I never got to date really, I barely have had a true first kiss. You think oh wow you worldwide handsome you have to have had girls. But in all honesty, yes I know I am worldwide handsome, but I also in private life am more mellow and quiet. Part of the reason why it was easy to be roommates with Yoongi for a long time, we both were the older two members as well we are more of the shy quiet guys, JK even joined us at times.

I sat in my room at the dorm playing on the computer. I loved video games. It was a great way to escape all that was going on. I heard Jimin and Jae laughing while spending time together. It made me feel kind of sad. I grabbed my headphones and put them on. I texted some of my friends who were in our idol gaming group to see who was up to play some LoL. Most of them were busy but a few got back to me. Kwon Hyunbin being one of the ones that got back but he also asked me if his cousin could join us. She apparently came to visit him and his family before she had to go home for school. I thought about it because we didn't have much of a response for our usual campaigns so I agreed to let his cousin join.

I started the campaign by inviting everyone who would be joining us and allowing Hyunbin to invite his cousin.

"Annyeong!" I said when everyone joined the call.

"Annyeong!" I got back from most people.

"여러분, 안녕하세요. 제 사촌 이장미입니다." (yeoleobun, annyeonghaseyo. je sachon ijangmiibnida.) [Hello everyone. This is my cousin Lee Jang-Mi] Hyunbin said in the chat

"Annyeonghaseyo," a soft voice said. She was very shy. It was very delicate and sounded warm and sweet like Maejakgwa.

"Annyeong Jang-missi," I said in the chat. "I am SeokJin or Jin whichever you prefer"

The rest of the guys introduced themselves. We then began to play LoL. We were doing good for a few hours, but slowly our group got smaller the later that it got. It then got down to just me, Hyunbin, and Jangmi.

"Do you all want to continue playing or do you want to move on to playing something else or just go to bed?" I asked them and waited for a response.

"It's up to you Hyunbin," Jangmi said softly, letting her cousin decide.

"I think we should get going if that is ok Jin?" Hyunbin asked me.

"That's fine, It was nice meeting you Jang-missi, hopefully we can meet again one day" I told her and decided to be brave and send her a friend request through the gaming platform.

"It was nice to meet you as well Seokjin" she said and accepted the request at the same time making me smile.

"Good night you two" I tell them and we all hang up.

Before I got off the computer I got a message and smiled seeing it was Jangmi.

Jangmi: Hey, you are a really good player!

Jin: Awe thanks, you were really good especially for a girl

Jangmi: Hey! I may be a girl but I know I am good

Jin: Jangmi I was just teasing you, Do you play any other games?

Jangmi: I play Overwatch, Maple Story, and I love racing games like Mario Kart or Need for Speed.

Jin: Maple Story! I love MapleStory. Would you like to play sometime?

Jangmi: Sure, Hey I want to keep talking but I need to get ready for bed, do you maybe have a discord so I can keep chatting with you?

Jin: Sure, WWHJin

Jangmi: WWH? btw mine is KoreanRose

Jin: I am worldwide handsome you know?

Jangmi: Wait! I am so sorry I shouldn't be talking with you.

Jin: What? what's wrong?

Jangmi: Your Jin from BTS!

Jin: So?

Jangmi: I know my cousin is famous of course but he just told me it was some guy friends. you're too famous. I am no one. I am sorry.

Jin: Wait! Please don't go. When playing video games I am just Jin. I want to be treated just like a best friend by your cousin and treated just as Jin, not worldwide handsome Jin.

Jangmi: But I am still nobody I am talking to billions of girls fantasy right now,

Jin: So what if you are, you know from your cousin how the industry is here and how we all just want to escape and not be who we are for a couple of hours.

Jangmi: yes I know

Jin: So for a couple of hours can't you help me escape from being Mr. WWH and just be a friend that I need.

Jangmi: You never met me though

Jin: So your voice and playing games feels like coming home, if the smell of maejakgwa had a voice it would be yours

Jangmi: Flirting? So soon?

Jin: Sorry, at least we can play video games together once in a while and chat, this is very relaxing.

Jangmi: As long as it doesn't become more than that, sure. My boyfriend may get jealous back home.

Jin: Oh Boyfriend? Sorry I didn't know I wouldn't have flirted. By the way Jangmi, how old are you? Because you know I am in my 30s.

Jangmi: I am 28, When my cousin texted you about me going back home for school, I am a teacher.

Jin: Oh a teacher! so you are smart! Where is home?

Jangmi: Right now I am teaching in an international school in Australia.

Jin: What grade?

Jangmi: I teach 6-7-year-olds.

Jin: Oh fun age, very playful

Jangmi: Yes they are, also very messy and very snot nosey.

Jin: I should let you go get ready for bed, I also have to go get ready for bed.

Jangmi: Because you fall asleep as Jin but in the morning you have to be Mr. WWH Jin.

Jin: Yes I do

Jangmi: Good night Jinnie

Jin: Good night flower

I smiled looking at the messages we had sent to each other. I felt my heart sink though. She had a boyfriend back in Australia. She is so kind-hearted though and so soft and delicate sounding. To be a teacher she had to be. I pulled up discord on my phone and added her so that I could be able to text her in some way and also be able to play games with her again. I got up and went to the bathroom to wash my face and get ready for bed. I felt so comfortable with her, she was like talking to a best friend and talking to a therapist at the same time. I needed to talk to Yoongi to get his advice but he is busy being a dad and boyfriend. Joon, I could probably talk to him but I don't want to bother him writing music and doing leader things. Hobi is busy with helping compose music and everything as well. Then Jimin is busy with Jae and I don't want to worry him. That leaves Tae and Kookie. Yes, they are younger than me but I could talk to them.

No, I shouldn't bother them. This is not anything major. I can just be a man and not bother others with how I am feeling. I got up from my desk and went and got ready for bed taking a shower and putting on some RJ pajamas that I wear all the time. I got into my bed after turning the light off. I looked at the ceiling and sighed. I rolled over to my side and closed my eyes trying to fall to sleep. The land of dreams is always a safe and comforting place at times for the lonely. According to Cinderella dreams are wishes that your heart makes. Dreamland is a place where you fully can understand and comprehend yourself, but when you are awake sometimes you can no longer understand your true self.

Hello!! Suprise, Suprise, Suprise. A new story I know I haven't finished any of my other stories. But, this story idea has been eating me up and wanting me to write it. I know the first chapter is a bit short but I feel like this was a perfect spot to end the chapter. I hope you all enjoy this chapter and this story and let me know what you think.
