BEGIN FLASHBACK:

EXT. NEVERTOO/THE MOON – TIMELESS

Roku and Miluna are laughing and playing with the dragon's toys (the things that the dragon has collected from Earth).

THE CLOUDS

Roku uses his tail to make the 1936 SS Jaguar 100, the sailboat and the bicycle race from cloud to cloud.

Flashes of lightning erupt as each Earthly thing lands on a cloud.

BACK TO SCENE

As Roku flies around Miluna, he is astonished to discover a patch of darkness at the back of the moon.

Miluna frets, her moonlight is waning.

MARIA

Pensively, she gazes at the fairy tale planets that are starting to be obscured as the world of magic dims.

BACK TO SCENE

The dragon is gently stroking and comforting the moon.

Clouds converge before them, forming a mammoth pillar...

MILUNA

The dark patch is throbbing...

BACK TO SCENE

Roku is now sitting on the moon's surface, facing the pillar of clouds, waiting...

THE CLOUDS

Rays of light beam through the hollows of the clouds. Then the clouds break up, revealing a rotating pillar of light.
