The door to the boys dorm opened. Remus quickly turned away from Sirius to find James coming out.

"What were you two doing?" James asked, gaping at Sirius.

"Well, what do you think Prongs?" Sirius asked. "No, really, I'm interested to hear."

"Uh...considering what you're wearing- rather, not wearing- I would have thought you two were....uhhhh..." James trailed off.

Sirius rolled his eyes. "Am I really that much of a fuck boy? I don't just screw everyone just for the fun of it!". James gave him a pointed look.

"What?! I don't! And I'm not gay! At least...I don't think I'm gay...." Sirius said.

James rolled his eyes. "I know none if us are gay. But its hilarious to joke about," he said grinning.

Remus felt his stomach sink. James thinks we're all straight? So what will he say if I tell him that I'm not?

"Moony, you don't look too good over there," Sirius commented. "Are you okay?"

Remus nodded. "Yeah, just something I ate I guess," he lied. It warmed his heart to know that Sirius knew he wasn't okay, that Sirius was actually paying attention to those small details.

"Yeah, you can't trust those house elves," James snickered. "Never know if they're shoving laxatives into our food or whatever."

"So that's why I was having diarrhea last week!" Sirius said. James stuck out his tongue in disgust.

"No but seriously, Moons, you look really ill," Sirius frowned. "Are you sure you don't want to go to the nurse?"

That's when Remus lost it.

"NO NURSE CAN FIX THAT I'M GAY FOR ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS, OKAY?!" he shouted, tears streaking down his face. "ITS HARD AS IT IS TRYING TO DEAL WITH BEING A FUCKING WEREWOLF, NOW THIS TOO? I DONT WANT THE WHOLE WORLD AGAINST ME! I-I just want to be normal...."

James and Sirius stared at him in shock. Neither one of them knew that much anger could have built up inside the quiet little Remus Lupin.

Remus bit his lip, trying to stop the tears and regain control of his emotions. Did I really just admit my biggest secret? Remus thought miserably.

He'd hoped to stay mum about it until he eventually gave up on Sirius. Now he was probably subject to humiliation, unacceptance, and pure disappointment when Sirius confirmed that he didn't feel the same way.

"Remus...I-I didn't know that would- I shouldn't have said....Remus, I'm sorry," Sirius said at last, breaking the silence.

"Just....just leave me alone....please," Remus whispered, hiding his face under the blanket. He heard his two friends' footsteps as they retreated back to the dormitory whispering, no doubt about how weird Remus was.
